it all seemed ok to start with, did my initial consult and had blood tests then things started falling apart.
1st clinician appointment to discuss results did not even look at the patient looking at another screen, the high speed of the consult was concerning and then I was passed over to sales and asked to sign a contract while I was on the zoom should have seen the red flag, offering discounts only available for another day etc etc which from the reviews is the standard pricing. I had already decided to give try but to others it would feel a pressurised situation for something so important. I was then booked on for a 10 week follow up for 6 weeks after my medication would arrive. strange but must be because of the 2 week wait for medication. I was sent an email saying my bloods would be retested at 8-10 weeks. I was sent my consultation notes and my test results via a portal link. This is where it :started to raise questions. The clinician in his speed to get a sale and move onto the next patient had sent out a male patient letter, I would have thought when dealing with hormones and people that getting the sex you are prescribing for would be paramount. My weight and height had been recorded incorrectly and the medication I was currently taking was not correctly spelt or dose listed.The letter and consultation form for my GP was was updated and resent only to say I had my bloods taken at day 21 of my period I then had to contact them again ( no one answers the phone so had to try several times to get through) and say there was an error and the clinician needed to review, they couldn’t allocate any errors and asked me what the issue was, I was post menopausal and had not menstruated for 22 months I would have thought the clinician would be able to identify this! Again an important piece of information for this type of treatment. The medicine arrived and it looked very amateur, the labels were all misprinted with half of the top line missing and no dosing guidelines if they can print my name they must understand my dosing . The vitamins provided had not even been discussed with me. I started the treatment and from the label on the testosterone could not understand the formulation strength or amount I was dosing from the pump I would bring this up on my 2nd consult. I was also informed that they no longer do bloods at 8-10 weeks and work off symptoms only for adjustments isn’t this what the NHS do and one of the reasons I opted for private so I was monitored correctly to take out guess work. After reading another review I will be looking at my contract to see next steps. I had my second consult - opening line was so you have been on the medication for 10 weeks - i had to correct the clinician and point out it was only 6 weeks from receipt of the prescription surely this is on my notes! again rushed no time to properly discuss anything, told them of the side effects previous history etc is the clinician an expert on these hormones if she has to refer to a senior clinician and get back to me on next steps as she initially wanted to raise it further which I refused after detailing sensitivity to which is concerning as the whole premise is being with experts when you pay for private support and it to be based on data eg blood-work, I was also asked about my periods sorry but the patient is post menopausal. I also asked what strength the testosterone cream was showed the clinician the label 1mg cream x 50ml and a cap showing a dose of 0.5ml the clinician kept saying I was on 1mg but could not understand that I was asking for the strength of the cream in %w/w or mg/ml etc which is a standard on prescription medicines I would think doctors would understand dosing, further doubts started to creep in. She asked me to send photos. I sent photos with very clear request of how much active ingredient and what the actual dose was as at this time we cannot cross reference against what was prescribed to ensure it is correct. I received a phone call from the clinician the next day to tell me it was 1mg per dose, so I asked her for the the strength of cream and dose amount which she could not answer told me if I was not happy to not use it, I asked what the impact for me would be she said it was only 2 days till the pharmacy would be back open and it would not impact me. I asked her to put her advice in writing via email to me so I have a record of the advice and no email has been received. Overall I wish I had not parted with the annual fee currently. Trust in the people treating you and accuracy for me is required when dealing with my health and I don’t feel I have received either in my interactions with the clinicians. I would avoid this company it’s more like NHS 2.0 with a much higher price tag. Try somewhere else. After sending evidence they have agreed to cancel my subscription and offered a part refund which is still waiting to be processed

Ordered a TRT at home kit for my partner. Received an order confirmed email, followed by a ‘we hope you’ve received it’ email a few days later. However, kit had not arrived so 9 days after order placement I called customer service; was told the kit hadn’t been sent due to a few reasons; ‘we don’t send TRT kits to females’, or maybe it was because ‘it’s the holiday season’… frustrated at no communication on either point. Even more worrying, no order had been found in the system at all. Have been told it’s now on its way but will again be delayed…

This company ahve literally changed my life!!!! I feel like myself again. They are professional, kind, responsive. Everything works as they said it would. Incredible company Ikra my consultant is knowlwedgable and understanding.

I had my initial consultation booked only to get a phone call on the day cancelling it. The lady who called was very obviously not in the uk. She stated she needed to rebook, then told me she couldnt open the diary, then the system had maintenance and she'd call back in the new year, then monday, then within 2 to 3 hours. When i questioned all this she couldnt give me answers, she'd mumble a response but when asked to repeat it wouldnt, i stated many times i wanted a refund as i couldnt tryst what she was saying, she stated she would after literally a 20 minute conversation asking for one, when i ask where she was based she said manchester but couldnt tell me the street, this was all incredibly concerning given that this is meant to be a private medical company. She said I'd get an email confirming my refund request, but thats not arrived, i have opened a case with my bank, please dont waste your money with this company, its definitely not what they try to sell it as online.

I decided to go with Bio ID as while I have been on estradiol for 2 yrs and no follow up from NHS just more meds, I wanted more insight to more of a holistic approach as I’m not really into conventional medicine. Booked my consultation, received my blood test kit as promised and got my bloods taken. Had my consultation which was great and insightful and decided to go with full works as I was lacking in so many areas of hormones. I received my HRT last week and so far no issues! I have take the approach to phase the 4 I have in just in case I do get some side effects. This way I know which one causes it.. Fingers crossed they won’t. It’s like anything really everyone unique and when replacing something that is no longer there in my opinion it will take some possible trial and error. Nothing is a quick fix, so time will tell… What I do like is the insight and understanding this company gives 😊

Chelsea has been wonderful, friendly and caring. Everything has been so stress free . All calls and consultations have been prompt and very helpful. Knowing that I will be monitored and guided through the treatment is so reassuring to me. I feel like I'm now finally going to get the help to regain the old me back. The past few years have been tough , and I had almost given up on ever feeling better. Now I have hope ! Thankyou x

First I want to give special recognition to Jennifer one of the the patient support team members who guided me through the initial process, she was incredibly knowledgeable,patient,and kind,and took the time to explain everything in clear detail, including exactly what would happen next. A full range of blood tests was arranged, and I was honestly amazed at how quickly and smoothly everything was completed.
Following this is had the pleasure of speaking with a clinication called Iqra who went through my blood tests results in depth. She explain exactly what everything ment in a way that was easy to understand and then carefully discussed what products she recommended and how to use each product. I never once felt rushed, and all my questions were fully answered.
What truly sets BooID apart is the ongoing support I was giving a number to call if I had any problems and when I did need to call back about an issue it was handled promptly, professional and with genuine care everyone I spoke to was kind, considered and extremely knowledgeable
