Scheduled an appointment through the app for 3 o’clock. Arrived at the location at 3 o’clock on the dot and was told by staff that they were closed. They did not care at all that I had an appointment... Mehr ansehen

2 hour wait
2 hour wait, while letting people go out of order. Me and an another black girl waited 2 hours even with appointments. They had let people who were there after us go before us. Nice to some people but mostly rude

Biolife Plasma
Biolife Plasma, Roanoke VA
Today I went in for my third donation. To be honest, my first day donating was pretty good. Everyone seemed polite and helpful. The phlebotomist was skillful and effective.
However, today my opinion is a bit different. The facility is clean and for the most part things are run efficiently. However, the staff here have a nasty, arrogant, entitled attitude and see the people coming in to donate as nothing more than an inconvenience and beneath them and honestly I find that kind of attitude insulting. I have worked in the medical field for 27 years and I happen to know that phlebotomy and taking vital signs are skills anyone can learn. These people who are staff here are not particularly skilled at phlebotomy at all and lack any kindness or professionalism towards their clients. Their rude and ridiculing comments once the donors back is turned shows their total lack of professionalism. Shameful!!
Incompetent
This screening process is absolute junk. Please be prepared to have medical records back 25 years or lie through your teeth about your medical history.
The staff can’t even explain why they need this info.

As a new donor there is a promotion for 725$ after 8 successful donations. I initially had no problem until donation 6&7 out of 8.There is highly incompetent tech (her name starts with a A and wears glasses and works in station yellow) she will ALWAYS give you a hematoma and push the needle through your veins. Due to her poor technique I was UNABLE to complete my last donation and had FORFEIT my 100$.None of which was my fault!
This was a waste of time
This was a waste of time. Don’t go to this place. Please donate but not here. If by chance you go you’re going to FAFO.
I had a great experience after coming…
I had a great experience after coming back for more than a year. The staff are great, and Nurse Jenn was extremely welcoming. She was a huge help making the process quick and easy.
Awful first experience
I tried to give plasma for the first time today and it was a terrible experience. I went to the location in St. Paul on Old Hudson rd. We arrived early for our visit and they checked us in then sent us to the waiting room. We sat there for 20 minutes before they called my partner up. I sat another 45 minutes. After 20 minutes they told us all nurses were in a meeting and it would be another 20 minutes. Why couldn’t they have told us this when we checked in?
The woman who took my info couldn’t get a fingerprint and demanded my ss number visually. She said I couldn’t be seen. I found it but she put me back in line. Then you have to do your med history on a computer- which you need a fingerprint to do! It was so stupid because then a nurse sees you , hands you goldfish crackers and water because “this will take awhile.”
After going through everything she said I couldn’t be seen because I fainted 8 yrs ago and have sleep apnea! She said I need written notes from my drs.
I work in healthcare and this is the worst process ever! The app says nothing about the two things I supposedly have that are so serious I can’t donate.
Overall the staff was unfriendly and rude.
I will never give them my precious plasma after wasting 2 hours of my time!
Zero stars
Don't waste your time.
This may be the worst-ran business that I've ever encountered. Their website doesn't schedule appointments for less than 2-3 weeks out. So I tried calling to ask if that was correct, and they never answered. Called them probably 10 times on different days, at different times, also with no answer. Left 2 voicemails, and they never called back. Most other plasma places accept walk-ins, so I figured I would give that a try. Had to spend like 2 hours on busses, just for them to say they don't accept walk-ins and would have to schedule something in advance. They got me in like 10 days later, which is admittedly better than 3 weeks, but still doesn't seem very accommodating for somebody who wants to take your blood. So I wait the 10 days, and hop back on the bus to go back in today for the appointment they made me make. Come to find out, they canceled my appointment, and didn't even bother to tell me until I got there. They said it was due to a "nurse shortage," which I don't understand. Where'd they go? Did Thanos pull a snap to make all the nurses just disappear? Probably not, I would guess that the horrible way this business is ran probably affects their employees too, and they just quit. That is not a shortage, it is just you not taking care of your employees OR customers. They should be ashamed at their lack of customer service. I will never try through biolife again, and I would suggest you look into other options as well, before they waste weeks of your time.

I am recently a new donor here and my experiences so far, aren't good! The lines are ridiculously long. What is the point of making an appointment to go there and stand in line for over 2 hours just to get on a bed. Then you have to wait another 20 min before someone sticks you. The place is not very sanitary..floors are dirty, half the employees do NOT change their gloves after touching or helping someone else. Gross! Also, the staff isn't very friendly. You confront them about an issue and you get attitude right away. If I had no other choice but to go here, I WOULD NOT!!!! And I sure the heck am never going to refer someone to this place!!! Ya'll need updates and structure asap!!!
Stop discriminating against honorably…
Stop discriminating against honorably discharged military veterans like me by suddenly and unexpectedly cutting us off from donating plasma, after we've aleady been donating for more than a year, merely because we openly and honestly admit at our annual physicals that we have previously suffered PTSD as a result of our prior military service.
Unprofessional
The girl could not get my vane in either arm noone came over to help her so after 2 hrs of my time and didn't receive pay
Bio life doesn't care about the doners time
Bio life doesn't care about 3he doners time! Today is my 550th donation.it took 3 hours,no one has 3 hours usually..they kept putting new doners in front of me.they sY there understaffed. BIO LIFE SHOULDTELL DONERS WE ARE UNDERSTAFFED IT OULD BE DOUBLE THE TIMETODAY..
what is the problem with this office they never awnset the phone
why this office never awnser the f phone!!!
company uses plasma from psychiatric patients
I know for a fact that the company uses plasma from psychiatric patients and users of illicit drugs because I know people who have donated plasma and received money and have answered no to all the questions about using drugs or being psychiatric patients.
You can’t trust the plasma that is donated there.
Never going back sat there for 3 hours…
Never going back sat there for 3 hours not to donate worst experience with donating never again and employee seem like they don’t want to be there
Biolife plasma center on Conant in Detroit Michigan is a non-professional non-respectful place do not ever go there the nurses and the supervisors are very disrespectful.
Please do not go and give plasma in Detroit Michigan on Conant avenue the nurse Ashley that works there is very rude she's an African-American lady who will threaten you the phlebotomist women that work there will always threaten you to get (De-Fured)they have a powerEGO trip.
Those ladies that work there they're not polite they will not help you they curse all day they gossip but they will disrespect you if you have something to say in defense of your rights as a donor I'm (WARNING)any and everyone in the United States do not ever go to biolife plasma in Detroit Michigan on Conant avenue please STAY AWAY!!!!
2 hours wasted time
2 hours wasted time. I was refused because of a neck surgery 41 years ago in 1983. I've been a donor since 2008 and have over 300 donations from other locations like United blood
DO NOT SET FOOT IN THIS PLACE
DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT get involved with this organization. The staff that does physicals are the most inept, unqualified, borderline ignorant, unsanitary humans you will ever meet. The staff that does the actual donation procedure are good at what they do. The rest of them are complete failures at getting you into your donation. Typos, unclear communication and sanitariness made me cry I was so frustrated with them. Total waste of time and that is very sad because donating plasma is an important for medical purposes and research. There is no place to give a NO STAR experience which is what it is.
