Have followed this brand for over 10 years now and just love their bedding so much. They offer a much wider range than before with different qualities too and a range of prices - it used to be a lot more expensive.

Unexpectedly poor quality for the price and the returns policy makes it clear they would wriggle out of a refund. Very disappointing that such a beautiful design isn't given the quality it deserves and I'll be sure to check reviews and returns policy next time

Please return to original beautiful workmanship and vibrant colour I remember as very shoddy now. I have just returned the foxglove duvet to John Lewis I recently ordered which was badly printed …white lines running through the faded flowers.

A beautiful selection of genuinely unique products, from an independent business. Beautiful water colour designs. Have bought several things over the years including bedding, wallpaper and fabric - love it all.

BOUGHT THE TETBURY DUVET SET FROM J.L. AS IT LOOKED SO PRETTY. THE QUALITY IS VERY POOR AND THE PILOW CASES ARE PULLED AND PUCKERED AT EVERY SEEM I HAVE FAILED TO IRON THEM SO THEY LIE FLAT. IF YOU ARE GOING TO MAKE BEDDING YOU NEED TO KNOW HOW TO CUT CLOTH. BACK TO SHERIDAN.

I agree with Jackie that the designs are beautiful but the quality of the material does not match the extortionate price and I can say this definitively for having decided to revamp all my duvet covers I rushed in and bought Bluebellgray ones as I consider the designs are beautiful. However I have witnessed the poor quality now that they are on the beds. The material is thin, creases terribly, particularly the Foxglove and Tetbury covers. The Foxglove one looks faded already. Disappointed as I had expected better for the money.

I was very happy with my previous purchase of duvet cover and had no hesitation to order another one. Unfortunately the recent version was faulty around the button holes. Also, the fabric was much thinner and of lower quality compared to my previous purchase. They agreed to refund me but I was charged for £6 delivery. I cannot understand how this is allowed when the product was faulty? Please reply.

I ordered the wild hedgerow king size duvet set in Dec 2020. I wish I hadn’t. The designs are beautiful let down by shabby material and not worth £115. The material is nothing like good cotton, it is coarse, limp and creases very very badly and looks awful on the bed. Over the year I was reluctant to use it and went back to my favourite manufacturer Sheridan who you can rely on for quality but I thought I would use it this summer. So in all I have probably had it on the bed about 9 times as I have used my Morris &Co and Sheridan bedding instead as I change every week and their cotton is more superior. I have noticed that the material is now starting to pull threads on the underside. I have washed it per instructions in my Miele machine so been very careful with it but what a waste of money so beware if you get taken in by the lovely designs as the material does not live up to the same standard by any means.

Purchased a palette lampshade 30cm cost me £94.80 and another £6 for delivery it has arrived and the finish is terrible. Join on back is ugly and if I’d paid £20 I’d have taken it back. Contacted customer service and asked to return and told I’d got to pay for return, talk about adding insult to injury. Terrible service I won’t be using them again or recommending them to anyone, it should not have made it past quality control.

The design is absolutely stunning but the fabric is so thin you could practically spit peas through it. Such a shame, as I have lusted after their bedding for a few years now but found the price a tad high. I was expecting the same quality as Joules but sadly very disappointed by this thin slippery fabric. Will not be buying any more.

Bought a Bluebellgray Wee Peggy duvet set from John Lewis, lovely pattern and not cheap but very poor quality material, within a few months it had become like a bit of rag, awful. Ikea quality is far better and last years, this Bluebellgray duvet set is now not at all nice to sleep in and John Lewis customer service a complete let down.

Bought my second bedding set after owning another design as I was so pleased with the quality and it needed little ironing, however I purchased the Wisteria duvet set and I am extremely disappointed its much lighter in weight than my previous one and you can actually see through it. When washed it needs a good iron as the edging shrinks and pulls the fabric. Extremely disappointed in this for the price paid. Obviously cheaper fabric..

Bought the bedding from John Lewis and was thrilled with the quality. Thought we’d get blinds to match made. The quality of the fabric is fantastic but the quality of the blind’s makeup is poor. These blinds are 18 months old and the rods are protruding from the ends and the weight bar at the bottom rolls as it has not been fixed in correctly, also initially one of the strings had to be rethreaded. I have left two message with the company asking them to respond and heard nothing.
I would suggest, use your own local curtain maker to avoid being disappointed.
