AWFUL experience.
AWFUL experience.
no video explanations for easier logic games. A lot of the RC had no videos either. Modules spend a whole lot of time making jokes than teaching content... i have not paid thousands of dollars to hear lame sex jokes lol.
Incompetent customer support team. No place for blind review. No place to view all the prep tests and their explanations in one place.
I wish I never wasted over five months of my time with this course and switched to a better one I am currently enrolled with sooner. Would NEVER recommend this course.

Okay
In my opinion, the Blueprint course was okay since it provided you with material to practice but examples in the video did not reflect the level of difficulty need to be mastered. I recommend reading the higher score guarantee before enrolling. I would not recommend this course!

Dylan and Haaris are awesome instructors
Dylan and Haaris are excellent instructors-- I give them 5/5 stars. The reason I'm giving 4 stars overall is solely because the blueprint interface was not as great as it could be. (Disclaimer: I'm overall very satisfied with Blueprint; these are just things that I wish I knew prior).
They don't offer blind review of questions/exams, so you have to see the answers even if you missed the question and wanted to try again without seeing the correct answer indicated.
Although there's a large question bank (something like 10k questions), there are only a handful of full practice exams on the Blueprint site. Considering all students have to pay for access to all previous exams given by LSAC, I don't know why Blueprint couldn't include more on their website so I could track analytics on there instead of having to switch back and forth with LawHub-- and more importantly, to get Blueprint explanations for my incorrect questions.
Lastly, a lot of their explanations (and sometimes questions/answers themselves) had typos left and right. This wasn't a big deal (other than it being slightly annoying), but someone should really look it over and make those corrections because it looks careless on Blueprint's part.
That being said, I had a very positive experience with Blueprint as a whole and I would definitely recommend it!
Great topline tutors
Don't waste your time and money. Choose Wisely.
Where to begin... As far as the services provided through Blueprint, you would be MUCH better off going through a different service. Why? Blueprint is extremely limited. For example, they do not offer all the Prep Exams offered through Law Hub (a mandatory subscription if you use Blue Print), so you are extremely limited on the number of prep test you can take. If you wish to do a blind review, well too bad! Because in order to clear the correct answers, you must delete your progress, which deletes the analytics. Speaking of analytics, if you are like me, and you love having spreadsheets of data for tracking progress or spotting areas of weakness, you are going to have your work cut out for you. Not only do they not allow you to easily export your test data but, if you enter your data in another platform and review with the Law Hub answer sheet, you will soon find that Blue Print does not use the actual Law Hub tests, so your correct answers will be drastically different. They choose not to use the provided experimental portion for some reason. Finally, if you have accommodations, this is not a great resource. You cannot print the tests if you have a written test accommodation. The reason for this, I believe is because if you printed out the test you would see the glaring differences in their test and the one offered through Law Hub.
Next, the site has so many bugs. You cannot access homework from the calendar (where it is listed as a link), you have to go to the syllabus. When you contact support about the issue, you will probably get some response like, "yeah, that's an issue we've known about". My registration for the course has changed and been removed several times, with no solution after many attempts to take with support about the issue. Now, let's get to the practice questions and exams, the platform blueprint uses is clunky (even the instructors say not to use the features because, they do not work well). However, when I take practice exams on other sites and on Law Hub, these features (highlighting, underlining, changing font) all work seamlessly. Going further on the lack of features, you do not have a place to take notes as you watch videos and attend classes. It's a small feature offered elsewhere that really helps for active listeners. Finally, not all the answers have explanations (which for not having all the exams, this is really disappointing). If all of these things were not offered for less money on other services (7Sage), I would not be as upset because I would have nothing to compare it to. I think that Blueprint, based on the price point relies on others not having multiple services to compare to.
Now regarding the classes, the instructors are fine and helpful for the class. However, most instructors have only taken the actual LSAT once and taken it years ago prior to changes made. They are not knowledgeable about the LSAT as it is currently, which poses some problems. I would also like to note that classes are all 2.5 hours (or longer) with a 5 minute break. Being someone who is in the working world too, I know that even grown adults stop paying attention in meetings and conferences at certain points even when they are actively trying to stay on task. Why? That structure of long periods of time of people talking at you, just aren't always effective. It would be incredible if they had options for people who prefer 45-60 minute sessions and meet more frequently than once a week. It may be helpful to retain information from the last class and keep students actively engaged throughout the class, instead of them asking, when can we have our measly 5 minute break?! Now, office hours, again, they are over 2 hours. Now, as a former college student who frequently attended office hours, it was supplemental and accordingly was not the same duration of an actual class. Office hours have a set subject matters, but the first 20-45 minutes goes to open questions, which is fine if there is not a topic at hand that you wanted to learn more about, but if your on a time crunch, it would maybe be best to get to the material first and then Q&A after? Just saying. Another option would be to have specific chats for general office hours.
Finally on the note of instructors. Many of the videos have one of three instructors. One of which who doesn't seem to even work there anymore as they are on several Magoosh videos and even have their own prep course. This instructor is very direct and detailed, if you like their style, I would say just use magoosh (it costs so much less) and/or use their tutoring services.
Overall in my research I have found that the best value is with 7Sage. They let you use and export data, they have all tests, and have a great networking ability to create and join study groups (none of this is offered at BP for over double the cost). Choose Wisely.
Geraldine is a great help!
I had a lot of questions, and Geraldine Loza was an amazing help! She is very knowledgeable and has consistently helped me get my course up and running. Thanks!
Tutoring + Online Class Experience
I had a great experience with Dylan G. for tutoring. I did research online and sent a short list to BP with people I wanted to work with and was paired with Dylan. VERY PLEASED WITH MY EXPERIENCE. My LSAT score went up 16 points. I was not sure I'd be able to pass the 160s but Dylan was good about keeping me on a study schedule and explaining things in a way that was helpful for me personally. We spent as much time as I needed to fully understand things and made good use of the tutoring time. Tutoring is when my confidence in my ability to hit my target score started to build. If I decided to test again, I'd ask for Dylan again. He really does all he can to be helpful.
I took a Blueprint class with David Roseth. It was a really good experience. He put a lot of effort into making sure we understood things, and would send follow up emails after class. He was not frustrated if someone wanted him to pause and answer a question, and he was always trying to make sure we were enjoying class (while remaining productive) and engaged. Between his class and the videos, I felt like I got a pretty good foundation. I took the LSAT before taking the class, and going through the basics again made me notice some of the fundamental errors I'd been making. The material we reviewed each class was predetermined, so that option might not be for you if you need a more flexible studying schedule.
Blueprint offers 'office hours' as well with various instructors. As someone working full-time, I appreciated them posting the recordings of the sessions. Good way to add to your studying and see who you might want to pair up with for tutoring.
Blueprint staff is great, give them all a raise.
Dylan G. - highly recommend
Had a great experience having Dylan as my private tutor! Highly recommend for anyone looking to move past any difficulties they are experiencing!
Excellent
I did Blueprint's self-paced course, starting only a month before the October 2021 LSAT. My initial practice test I scored a 158 - good, but not amazing. From there, I was consistently impressed by the clarity and detail Blueprint put into each lesson. I work full-time so I wasn't able to invest as much into prep as I wanted to, but on test day I scored a 167. I'm beyond satisfied with this score and I have Blueprint to thank. I'm sure if I could've spent more time studying I would've done even better; I only answered about 500 out of the suggested 2000 before test day. I highly recommend Blueprint to anyone taking the LSAT - you will see improvement almost immediately, and the lessons are very helpful.
Linette was an amazing tutor!! 10/10
I took the live online course with Blueprint in 2020 and scored a 160 on the October 2020 test. I think the online course really helped me to grasp all of blueprint's concepts that they use for different question types. After this I wanted to increase my score again, so I opted for the tutoring sessions. LINETTE WAS AMAZING! Going through an individual tutor was better for me with the way I respond to information, and Linette was able to follow my train of thought on questions and correct this in order to improve both my accuracy and timing. My confidence with the LSAT skyrocketed because I had Linette there with me every week to focus in on problems I was struggling with. She responded quickly to all of my questions during the week and was there to motivate me before I took the test. She explained questions in a simple and concise way and trained my brain!! I ended with a 166 on the October 2021 LSAT, 6 points higher than from the year before!!
The course was amazing
The course was amazing. I was a huge part of getting me a 175 and I am very impressed with all aspects of the service
Gerry is an awesome tutor!
I loved working with Gerry for one on one tutoring! He was so helpful and encouraging, and made me feel confident for my test. We had remote sessions which I was initially nervous about but all of his instruction was super clear, engaging, and useful. Totally recommend.
Instructors Sam & Felipe are fantastic!
I recently finished my live-session program with Sam and Felipe and it was so worth it! From their ability to share their unique perspectives on solving problems to the open and fun classroom experience they fostered, I have found this program to be so rewarding. Thank you Sam and Felipe for your countless support and ability to teach the Lsat in a fun and less-daunting way. I have gained so much confidence throughout the class sessions and couldn't have done it without you both. If you are reading this and are considering a session with either of them, don't hesitate to go for it!
Gerry was the best tutor I could have…
Gerry was the best tutor I could have asked for. Not only was he patient and understanding, but instilled confidence in me that no teacher or professor ever has. He taught me so many tips and tricks that I would have never thought of by myself and helped me improve my score significantly. I would not be where I am today with the LSAT without Gerry.
Organized, Engaging, and Excellent Instructors
This was my second LSAT prep course, and I can confidently say that it is leagues ahead of the other that I took. The first thing you'll notice is how systematized everything is. On day one, you input when you're planning on taking the exam, and Blueprint makes a study schedule for you--complete with optional additional homework, supplements, quizzes and checkpoints. It takes the strategizing out of your hands so that you can focus on studying. It tells you when to do practice exams, when to review, and when to attempt new content. In my first course, we were given tons of material but the students were the ones who had to decide what to do with it, and I found that I often got lost sifting through so much new info. The next thing you'll notice is the classes are actually engaging. It's not just a lecture, and with two instructors in each class they can effectively cater to those who are more advanced in their studies and those who are just starting out. My instructors--Scott Reding and Gerry Hirschfeld--were extremely knowledgeable but, perhaps more importantly, they were interesting characters who I looked forward to seeing every week. They take the monotony out of class and replace it with banter, casualness, and ultimately a fun time. And if you wanted to know....my score has gone up +9 in just six weeks!
Jason Crandell at Bluepoint
Jason Crandell gave me the tools I needed to better understand the logical reasoning and reading comprehension sections of the LSAT. Before beginning with him I was very unconfident in my approach to questions and the readings on the test. Now I am excited to take the test in a few days! He showed me how to identify the conclusions and evidence in an argument, as well as how to strategically eliminate incorrect answer choices. In my reading comprehension, he showed me great strategies to break down the passages into more digestible chunks. This in turn allowed me to better understand the readings and be more accurate when answering questions. In addition he offered me great resources, was incredibly flexible, and gave me a manageable study schedule leading up to test day. I only regret not starting with him sooner!
Dylan and Scott really know their stuff…
Dylan and Scott really know their stuff and were always on top of everything. They helped break down some difficult questions that would have taken forever to understand. The instructors alone made it worth it.
Theron Herd is an Unbelievably Good Instructor
All of the instructors at Blueprint are great in different ways but what makes Theron so special I think is his vast knowledge of not only the Law School Admissions Test but the process of applying to law school itself. On top of that Theron takes the time to pick questions that mesh well together for sessions and has a way of providing students with very simple and practical tips that are helpful for the test. I belonged to a study group and everyone in it who worked with Theron had an amazing experience. Looking back on my own preparation and testing one of my main regrets is not listening to what Theron was saying-- he really knows what he's talking about!
Edit: "Protect Theron at all costs!"
Best choice
I struggle with standardized exams and have suffered their wrath since high school. I took the LSAT in 2017 and my final score for the August 2021 exam was 12 points more than my 2017 score. This is honestly coming from someone who never, ever broke a 155 on a practice exam before I started with Blueprint. This course is 1000% about the instructors - I took a course with Linette and then with Chris and Dylan. They are SPECTACULAR! I didn't interact with a lot of the other course instructors. However, I know for sure that these three each have differing methods on how they do things (to an extent) but all of these differences made it so that I was able to find a method that worked for me. And for sure it worked! Breaking beyond the 160 point for the first time during practice tests I nearly cried. They know how to hire at Blueprint. Thank you all!
