If I could give zero stars I would
If I could give zero stars I would. I have moved more times than I can count over a 20-year military career, and BLVD Moving is hands down the worst moving company I’ve ever dealt with.
They quoted me one price, but once my belongings were loaded they suddenly demanded more money or they would refuse to complete the move. This was after I had already sold large, heavy items (sofa, washer/dryer, patio furniture, griddle) that should have reduced the total cost—not increased it. I was under a tight deadline to start a new job, so they had me over a barrel and knew it.
I also paid for packing services, and what I got was appalling. Fragile items were literally tossed into boxes with heavy metal objects, without so much as a sheet of paper or bubble wrap. It was careless and reckless. Not surprisingly, countless items were broken beyond repair.
To make matters worse, they failed to show up on the dates they promised, their communication was atrocious, and—most unforgivable—several of my belongings never even made it to me. When I tried to get answers, all I got was a half-hearted apology and absolutely no accountability.
BLVD Moving talks a smooth game when they’re trying to win your business, but don’t be fooled. This company is nothing more than a shady, dishonest money grab. If you value your time, your money, and your belongings, do yourself a favor and stay as far away from them as possible.
Unprofessional and deceitful
The movers themselves were great. The issued was with the business side of it. When I hired them I was told repeatedly that they have a flat fee that would not change if the move took 4 hours or 6 hours. I was told this fact multiple times and reassured upon checking multiple times. It was the sole reaosnI I hired them. When I had to pay I was charged much more money than agreed upon. I called the different numbers several times and they either did not pick-up or the messages went unanswered. On top of that I was told that I would get a call which never happened. They were unprofessional and I honestly feel I was scammed. The minimum was to get a call back to discuss the issue and that never happened. I would not recommend this company for moving.
This is the ABSOLUTE WORST MOVING…
This is the ABSOLUTE WORST MOVING COMPANY EVER. DO NOT HIRE!!!! Here is why:
3 weeks ago. the movers picked up our things. We were told that our stuff was going from CA to CO in 2-5 days. We get a call at 5 days, expecting our stuff, but instead of that happening, we were told our stuff was in storage with no departure date. We had to have my dad postpone his move since he has end stage liver failure and was not going to have his bed. It had gotten to the point where it was over 12 business days and we called to get an update, and it took forever for them to give us ANY update. On the phone, Liz told me that it takes up to 12 business days for our stuff to be delivered (this was a friday) and that our stuff would be here on either Monday or Wednedsay of the upcoming week. I explained to her that we were never given that number before but that it was okay. We waited and waited until literally 30 minutes ago (Monday), when the driver showed up BY HIMSELF. He asked US to hire people to unload the truck, then backtracked and said he was just here to check out the moving location because he was unsure of whether it was 1-3 stories (which was disclosed before the entire move itself). We called dispatch and immediately told them and they said, and I quote, "that is highly unlikely that a driver ever checks the location or shows up without help". I called another lady for a refund, and she tried to lie to me about we signed a contract that said 21 business days, and that it is normal for the mover to "check the location" before delivering. James, the dispatch, said to us again that that NEVER happens. The mover is coming back tomorrow with our stuff apparently and another mover or two, which we will see if they ever show up. This is the most frustrating, unprofessional moving experience I have ever had and I have done a million moves. I hope no one ever goes through this so do yourself and favor, DO NOT HIRE BLVD MOVING.
Don't trust them to refund a deposit!
Last April I moved into a place for 3 months, expecting to move cross-country the end of June.
I agreed to the refundable deposit of $100 to guarantee me a spring rate (for this summer move).
I had to give a 60-day notice at this place, so I decided to extend the lease another 3 months. So, I let BLVD know I wouldn't be moving the end of June.
YET, I received a text (the end of June) stating the movers are on the way! What?!
I emailed Jose to say I had told him (the end of April) I wouldn't be moving the end of June and to REFUND the $100 deposit.
The money was never refunded. They basically STOLE $100 from a senior citizen!

Moving out of my New York City apartment, managed by Boss Danny and his two in crew made the day so easy for me. Danny is a charismatic worker, and he created confidence in me, with his honesty, charm and great capabiliity as he and he workers took the day, wrapping up everything carefully, and taking it down into the truck. He made me comfortable and it was finished to my satisfaction. Five Stars!

Where do I begin. 1. They scheduled my move with a shuttle. They showed up a day early without a shuttle. It I had to reschedule everything to accommodate them. No explanation no apology. 2. while we waited for the shuttle they told me they would not begin unless I paid them 68% more than what was quoted and was charged tice for items. I had no choice I had to be out and had no choice but to accept the new terms. 3. Driver used my equipment without my permission that was already tagged and loaded. When I mentioned that is a nice dolly his response was "I am glad we brought. Even with all that i still tipped the guys $100 hoping the rest of this transaction would go well. 4. sales people said delivery would happen between aug 3rd to 5th and said if everything went wrong 15th at the latest. Delivery finally happened after making called on the 22nd...22 days on an air mattress without my items....5. items in bubble wrap inside boxes where broken...The armore had the back completely blown out and the entertainment center now has a huge gash in the front now. They also lost my box springs and the driver said he would call me the next day and find out where it is. Few days later i call the office and they act like it is my fault for not letting them know the item is missing and said they would follow up....fast forward to September 3rd and I am still without missing items......Bottom line is their was not one thing they said they would do during this contract that they completed horrible experience and what makes it worse everyone you speak to acts like they basically do not care...be-ware of this company

I was quoted $5100 to move my belongings, most of which were in boxes from Illinois to Az. After they loaded, they insisted the price had gone up with an adjusted inventory to $18,000. Which they wanted $9400 as half payment. Nothing was said about giving a half payment. I am stranded in Az, with no medicine, no clothing, except what I brought with me, no towels, no canned goods, no personal items, no paper towels, toilet paper, and no furniture. If I hadn't bought the bed from the previous owner, I would have been sleeping on the floor. All of which i had purchased for the move and now have to purchase again. They will not release my things until I pay them 19000 now. I am a widow on a fixed income and no way can I come up with the kind of money. They have left threatening messages, called at all hours of the day, wanting their money. I just sent them an email, that if I could get my safe, I could probably take care of some. No answer. I only gave it two stars cause the movers were quite good. If I had it to do over, I wouldn't. I've begged friends and family to help me, but no one is in the position either. I am heartbroken, I HATE it here, no familiar things. And I am really not fond of BLVD either. Can someone help me?

Never ever use this company. If they don’t like their tip they will play games with you. We moved in 11-10, they gave us 9 different dates before finally getting out items 12-19 . Missing were many valuable items and numerous arrived broken. Quoted me 7400. After seeing all pictures of what was being moved. We turned down a better co. To avoid paying,the 11,500. Quoted and ended up last minute when it was time to move 17,500. They left my home a mess were late and I have cried over my keepsake items like my Amish quilt, and other numerous items never to be delivered. This co. Is known for bait and switch. When it comes to pricing. The process for reporting missing and broken items was sp difficult, we just wrote it off. Please don’t go here, they are AWFUL
The drop off was horrible
The drop off was horrible. The delivery guy called 2 days prior and complained that he could get his truck down my street so they charged me an additional $350. They arrived 2 hours late and didn't have a door stopper so I drove to Walmart to get them one. A few things were broken and they rushed without unpacking a mirror and left a mess. The guy complained the entire move and stated "I don't even work for this company" before leaving a mess everywhere. I ended up putting my own bed together and taking out all the empty boxes. I reached out to BLVD and got NO response about filing a claim for the broken items
