Don’t use! Searched up a book and saw it on this for good price, used a prepaid visa voucher to pay (thankfully) and haven’t been charged yet and it’s been two days. Only got an email saying “order needs processing.” Now can’t even access the website to change any other details- comes up with Error database. So I say don’t use. Will update if anything occurs

Scam sight. Google searched for a book. Found BookDP. Good price. Said uses Amazon to ship. No book. Order pending. They have my credit card details. Am notifying bank.

It's a complete scam. Do not use it. No book received, no response to any emails. They have not taken any money though they do have my credit card details which I have notified the bank and Consumer Protection about but who will they sell that information to... I have had an identical experience with Ruggable which also parades as a safe reliable Australian company but like Bookdp, the head office is in USA. Interestingly, the last email I sent to Bookdp an acknowledgement came in from Ruggable.

I ordered a book on 8/01/2025 using my credit card.
I didn’t receive an email acknowledging the order and my credit card has not been charged. I have emailed bookdp.com.au and never received a reply. I have not received the book I ordered. The website claims books are sourced from Amazon. I have spoken with Amazon Australia support by phone. I was told after they investigated the website and checked my order number, that this site is not affiliated with Amazon. The order number doesn’t correspond with any of the order numbers they generate. I have cancelled my credit card to prevent any fraudulent charges.

definitely a scam, don't order from them. Never received my books or got any response to my emails.

Be careful.

Ordered book 17 Jan 25. No arrival. Follow up emails x 2 to the email on the website. Nil response. I believe that my money has gone. Quite possibly a scam.
As a side note, I ordered the same book via amazon yesterday and it arrived today.

I ordered a book on 15 Dec 2024 as a Christmas gift for my son on the other side of the country.
I set up an account on their website then placed the order and paid using my card as there was no PayPal option and I really wanted to get the gift delivered by Christmas.
Bookdp sent me an email confirming my account setup and my payment had been accepted, they added a message saying that they are processing the order and will notify when it is shipped.

I haven't heard from them since! Even after all 6 of my emails sent to them requesting tracking, my 6th email was requesting my refund refund.

They don't even have a telephone number to phone them.

So clearly it's SCAMMERS

I purchased a book in Sept 2024 - it was a pre-order for worldwide release 21 Jan 2025.
* 8 days later the book is still sitting at 'Processing Stage'
* 3 emails later - asking what's going on - no response!

Scam site, was too good to be true. Book ordered & paid for October 2024. Then no communication from site or seller. Scam site

Ordered 3 books on the 7/12/2024 the website suggested they had stock. Silence, no response from a contact us email I sent to (support at bookdpworld.com).

10/01/2025 - Account billed full amount.
17/01/2025 - Only 1 of the 3 books ordered arrives (2nd in the series)

Honestly if this isn't a scam website I'd be surprised.

I ordered a book on the 2 Dec 2024, money taken, confirmation email received and thats it. I have sent 2 emails requesting updates and no response.
They are a Scam!

Fast delivery and incredibly affordable prices. My package arrived quickly and in perfect condition. Communication via email was excellent, and the overall shopping experience was fantastic. I’ll definitely shop with BookDP Australia again!

It's a scam.
I ordered from them over a month ago. Money not taken but makes me wonder where/when/to whom my credit card info was sold?. I will cancel my card just in case. I did get a confirmation email about the book ordered but no response in any attempt to contact them after that.
