Unable to accommodate dates, STILL waiting on refund owed 17 days now.....
I attempted to book a vacation almost 6 months in advance and was told they could not accommodate any of my date requests after already paying for it. I requested the refund within my rights of $1,515 on 11/11/22 and still nothing as of 11/28/22. I've called multiple times and continue to be told someone will call me back with no contact over and over.
UPDATE: Someone then tried to have my TRUE review removed but I provided trust pilot with all my information and lookie here.... the review stands.
Here are the facts....
I purchased a package through Bookvip on 11/5/2021 for $1,515.00 only to be told they couldn't accommodate any of the dates we wanted to travel. I asked for a refund immediately and was told they would call the resort directly to see if any dates were available which there weren't as of 11/6. Here are the multiple calls I made to 877-744-8992 following the refund request to check on status over and over again.
11/6 spoke with Eric
11/6 spoke with Daniel
11/11 affiliate ID 4483377 told me the original refund request wasn't submitted correctly and redid it.
11/20 spoke with Jen
11/28 I attempted to call corporate but they do not have voicemail nor live answering parties, I then searched for management members and emailed the entire management team about the refund owed
11/28 Submitted online reviews of the company because of the refund still owed
11/29 Received a phone call from a manager apologizing and telling me the refund was processing and asked me to take down my review. I advised that I wouldn't as I wanted to ensure other people knew what they were getting into with regard to fighting for a refund. She then offered me a "discount" card of $500 to try and remove the review. The discount card is JUNK with no real value. I ultimately decided I wanted to ensure a true review.
11/29 Received refund of $1,515.00 on my card after 23 total DAYS!!!

The people behind it (not allowed to mention name here, but you can research yourself) seems to have run a similar scheme before under unsold.com. Unsold.com took payment for hotel vouchers, but never provided the service. They advertised heavily on Facebook and Instagram for customers to buy hotel vouchers. Shortly after, they announced that they are out of business and the vouchers cannot be honoured. Emails to customer service remain unanswered. Still awaiting refund of two hotel vouchers, totalling EUR 511. Official complaints filed with the Florida Attorney General's Office and the FBI. This man/ company needs to be stopped!

I contacted Bookingvip again via email and a week later i finally got a response. I got my full refund this past week. They paid me in Euros, not pounds initially and i made a complaint and the problem was rectified within 24 hours. Thank you for sorting out the problem. 4 stars mainly because i jad to reach out again and again but the refund process once started, was quick..

I booked a holiday with Unsold.com in November 2020 and my payment was taken by Booking.vip, says so on my statement. Now unsold.com has gone under and i have reached out to Booking.vip for a.refund and they ignore my emails. I have tried calling and the moment i mention unsold.com they get very defensive, rude and don not want to help. I have researched and realise they are one and the same company but just that unsold didn't survive and had to go under. I really think they should just refund their unsold.com clients and maintain a good reputation. I really need someone to sort this out and i get my refund...very disappointed. If something appears too good to be true, it probably isn't. Be careful

And yet another update! Trustpilot who we are supposed to trust are now demanding that I remove the name of one of their co-owners who was involved in Unsold.com to protect Bookvip's "interests". This person has numerous interests in companies that hide behind each other, go bankrupt owing innocent people money and now Trustpilot is protecting them! Shame on all concerned. The warning remains the same people! Beware of dealing with a company such as Bookvip.com as at least one of their owners is scrupulous at the very least. Hopefully Trustpilot will be content with that option now that the culprit's name has been removed! Further update - well, there is no update! One of the owners and his cronies do not care about their customers. Once they have your money then all bets are off! BEWARE of this company.... read the negative reviews and work out the truth for yourselves! Made bookings through Unsold.com for 3 vouchers to Queenstown in New Zealand - a total of $1098. Have since found out that they have gone "bankrupt" and despite logging my details on what is left of their website no refund has ever been received. Subsequently found out that they share the same ownership as BookVIP.com and even they are not easy to deal with as it is hard to try and contact anyone. Obviously do not want to deal with current or former clients! Surprises me that they are obviously happy with all the negative comments that they are getting and I will continue to post my honest opinions on an organisation that is hiding from their obligations. I have only just begun what will now be my personal crusade against both companies and I will not stop until a full refund is received! All that people want is to get back their hard earned money. Do the right thing! An update - they now deny that they have anything to do with each other! Maybe they need to talk to the person who set up Unsold.com and is currently listed as one of Bookvip.com co-owners and see what he has to say for himself. As I said before - I will not stop!
KJ saved my vacation!
I booked My first trip ever through bookvip.com. Unfortunately, I did not read the terms and conditions for the resort I chose and I did not realize that I was not able to go to that resort. Ultimately, I spoke to a supervisor, KJ. He spent a great deal of time with me looking at different resorts to which a single man could go. He was very kind, very patient, and very professional. Because of KJ, I am booked at a great resort in Mexico. Given it was my mistake to begin with, I could not be more impressed with the service he provided. Because of KJ, I will most certainly be booking future trips through bookvip.com. Thank you again, KJ!

I am utterly disgusted that bookvip and unsold share the same owners. the latter has gone 'bankruptcy' and has me suffer a huge loss. The statement on my charge is also bookvip and yet when I tried to contact them, bookvip denied their association with unsold.com.
Anyway I've submitted dispute to my bank and visa.
How is Bookvip connected to Unsold.com?
Bookvip seems to be connected somehow with the bankrupt online booking agency Unsold.com. When I tried to call Unsold at the telephone number listed on my credit card statement (1-888-849-7541) my call was automatically forwarded to an operator at Bookvip. That person claimed they were not associated with Unsold and could not help me obtain a refund for prepaid services sold by Unsold. I don't know what connection Bookvip has or has had with Unsold but considering how everyone who booked with Unsold has lost their money I would exercise extreme caution before booking anything with Bookvip.
Revised review; I withdraw my original negative review. My comments were read and I received a full refund of my funds. Thanks.
This company is not reputable. I booked a vacation with Unsold.com but the charge to my account was made by Bookvip.com. Unsold has disappeared. I called Bookvip who said they had no connection with Unsold. However they could not answer my question as to why Bookvip charged my account not could they tell me what happened to my funds.

We loved our trip and pricing was so cheap! Just be prepared for Nickel and dime expenses that add up! (internet, ride, etc) and sales of Timeshare - we bought one (regret that) but good Company amd VIP helped get our dates and worked well

Sneaky not telling where presentation was going to be
We booked 4 nights at Margaritaville Orlando for $363. With $200 credit given after the timeshare talk. All that was on the up and up. Good deal. The bad part was, we had to stop 4 miles away at a Wyndham to pick up our “Welcome packet” before Margaritaville. At that time we found out that the next day’s presentation wasn’t at Margaritaville but 12 miles away at Kingstown. After presentation that day we had to drive back to Wyndham to pick up our $200 credit card.
There wasn’t any pressure to buy but nowhere was it mentioned that the presentation wasn’t at Margaritaville. What a pain. Put me in a bad mood for presentation.

My friend & I booked through BOOKVIP and saved hundreds of dollars on a trip to the Puerto Vallarta. We were delighted with our beautiful oceanfront hotel about an hour from downtown. The restaurants were wonderful. We enjoyed sitting on the sand all day while the waiter continuously refilled our drinks. Such a great trip.

The worst business I’ve ever been associated with. We happily scheduled a vacation in late summer with them for February school vacation. We booked ski passes and other activities for $2000+ dollars (and our children, 9 and 11, were so excited). Exactly 1 week before our check-in, BookVIP called to let us know that it was canceled. We called the hotel where we were supposed to stay and they said there is vacancy, but at $1600 more (3 nights). Thanks for ruining our family vacation and wasting thousands of my hard earned dollars BookVIP. Shame on you

We are on our last day at Breathless Cabo San Lucas that we booked through BookVIP.com. We booked it in September, we are here in now in Jan. It's been a wonderful experience. All of our travel plans without a glitch. Transportation was great. Friendly employees. We got to look at this view of the ocean every morning. We fished, we swam with the dolphins, we went parasailing. It's been an amazing trip! Thanks, BookVIP! we saved over $2,000 booking with them. We'll definitely do it again!

Most importantly, they'll advertise 5 star resorts on their website. It's a bait and switch scam where they advertise a "special" deal, but when in fact it's only 3.5 star accommodation. It's "5 star" according to them, not according to any hotel associations and standards. Don't waste your time and money since they won't refund your money. This is extremely unethical and lots of wasted time being on hold if you want to call them, if they even pick up at all.
