I am a professional nail technician, I purchased some Born Pretty gel polishes on Amazon to try them out, the products perform well especially for how inexpensive they are. That being said, as a pro and salon owner, I am required to have Material Safety Data Sheets available for every hazardous chemical/product I have in the salon, these are typically very easy to obtain from manufacturers as they are required by law to provide them to customers when requested.
I reached out to Born Pretty’s customer service via email, requested the MSDS information for the products I purchased but instead of providing them, their CS team gave me the run around, requesting proof of purchase, telling me that I need to email a different email because I bought on Amazon, those emails never got a reply. I ended up sending an email back to the original email address I got from their website to inform them I never got a response from the email address they provided me and once again requested they provide the MSDS but that email was also ignored. I also have tried contacting them via Amazon multiple times but no response there either.
So, if they’re unwilling to follow federal law and provide safety data to their customers, I think it’s safe to assume that their product are not safe for use.

I love Born Pretty in my experience they offer great nail products at really low prices. I’ve placed 3 rather large orders (I think I must have all cat eye colours they offer) as well as other gel nail products. I really can’t complain about anything, sometimes the colour is a little off as to what is shown online, but it’s really nothing to complain about. The quality is brilliant and long lasting and I get so many compliments whenever I wear their cat eye nail colours. Orders come from overseas so delivery isn’t immediate… however they despatched all my orders pretty quickly and then it took just over a week and a half for it to get to me via the courier. Born Pretty are good at keeping you in the loop too. I’ve never had any issues. Great prices, great products and great offers and promos. I’m always getting a little freebie here and there. I don’t and won’t buy nail products from anywhere else other than Born Pretty now.

I had a package go missing.And they were rather prompt to take action and make sure that I was able to receive a new shipment of the order. Very pleased with their customer service and quality of product for the pricing

I am positively surprised!
I was aware that the products were shipped from China. However, only ten days after placing my order, the items arrived in my mailbox. When I contacted customer service, I received a very professional response within an hour along with a tracking link that allowed me to follow my parcel.

My only small criticism is that the website displays a lot of advertising, which can be distracting while shopping.

As a licensed nail tech and educator, I’ve tried so many different brands and Born Pretty is one of my favs! Their products are super beginner-friendly but still deliver the professional quality I look for when teaching or working on clients.

The formulas are smooth, easy to apply, and highly pigmented, which makes my sets come out flawless every time. I also love how innovative they are with their collections; the packaging, color variety, and overall performance always impress me.

Items shipped separately, which took forever. They sent wrong item after waiting for so long. Terrible customer service, via email and chat. Still have not received a response from company. Will never order from them again.

I wish I could give zero stars. My experience with this company has been an unmitigated disaster and a total waste of money. The company seems to be built on automated avoidance and non-existent service. I now realize I have probably lost my money.

A Customer Service Void
The customer support at this company is non-existent. I have tried to contact the company a number of times via WhatsApp, Phone, and Web Chat to resolve multiple issues, but to absolutely no avail.

Their live chat and WhatsApp agents purposely ignore questions or requests they don't want to answer, making those channels worthless.

I contacted their Customer Service department about my missing items and have had no reply! I can only conclude that the department is a ghost office.

The only "support" I received was from an AI system designed to answer questions, but it is clearly only tailored to answer positive questions and completely incapable of helping with a real issue.

Broken Promises on Products and Returns
The core of the order was a mess, and the company is deceptive about its policies.

Eventually, the products were delivered, but with missing items! When I brought this up, I was simply told to ask for a refund, but when I looked to try this, there were no options to actually do it.

I was offered a partial refund with no amount given, a meaningless gesture given the scope of the problem.

The company falsely advertises its "Green Returns Policy," which I chose, only to have it rejected instantly. They make it sound good but refuse to implement it.

They also state that return postage is "not covered by the buyer." Logic suggests this means they pay the postage—apparently not! This language is purposefully confusing and misleading to shift costs back to the customer.

This is a company that takes your money, delivers an incomplete product, and then employs every tactic possible to avoid contact. Avoid at all costs.

Have not received my items. My package was split into two and I was not informed of this until I noticed only part of my order was shipped and reached out to ask. I was told they’re waiting on an item to restock before sending the rest of my order, I asked if I could switch it out for an item that’s in stock but was ignored. Their live chat purposely ignores questions or requests they don’t want to answer. My parcel never arrived and the courier service they use doesn’t detail where your package is. You’re pretty much stuff thinking your package may or may not end up being delivered to you.

I placed an order on this website, I waited a lengthy time for the products to be delivered.
Eventually products were delivered but with missing items!
I have contacted their customer service department but I have had no reply!
I think the customer service department is non-existent and therefore I realise that I have probably lost my money! Please order with PayPal when using this website as they are a law unto themselves.
I will never order from this site again for fear if losing more money down the drain!!

Customer service has always been great! I love the diversity of their products. The quality speaks for itself and they have such beautiful polishes.

I loveee Born Pretty nail products. When I first became a nail tech in 2015 I tried a Born Pretty chrome powder off eBay and I must say it was one of the best ones I’d used. From then on I had all my faith in Born Pretty so I tried more products. I absolutely love the quality and price. I highly recommend Born Pretty to anyone x

Born Pretty offers a great range of affordable, good quality nail art products. I have always loved the range of options they have.
Their customer service is always good and my orders arrive quickly and well packed.

I have placed a order - the website says tracking info will be received 1-2 days after placing order.
I have sent now 3 emails following up on my tracking info and no reply or info received from them, yet the money went out my account the min I placed the order. From reading other reviews this is making me extremely nervous that I will even get my order.

I have had the opportunity to try different products, they are all gorgeous, I love the cat eye gels, they are another level, not to mention their 5d gel to create texture😍, I haven’t had a problem with this brand, I love it.

Excellent quality in all their products, amazing selection, stunning colors and great customer service. Received refund for a missing item without any problem. Customer service maintained constant communication until issue was resolved.

I placed my order on past December 16th. It was shipped a few days later (3 aprox). It took around 14 days to arrive to the US, just as they told it should be. I was able to track my package status since they sent me a tracking number.
The only issue was that I got a false "delivered" message from the USPS. I wrote to them ("where is my package" section), kindly asking them to do a double check and voilà! I got my package really delivered!
About the products, I have to say that I love these products' quality and colors. The chrome powder is an A+, the cat magnetic gels are easy to apply and allow me to get a wide range of drawings on my nails. The HEMA free hard gel is perfect to build my nails and the primer and dehydrator set is my favorite one since the primer is acid free.
Finally I'd like to say that I've been using these products since 2017 and it's my favorite nail brand.
