Great service. Plants were expertly packed in moist soil.

There have been severe problems with yew balls purchased from this company.
The first three, delivered in April of last year, failed to grow and, over the next five months, gradually expired.
I took the problem up with Bill and we were forced to agree to differ.
He maintained that they hadn't been watered properly; I insisted that, like all the other plants in my garden (where there had been no other failures) they had. He relied on his accusation that I had been negligent during a hot summer, I on the fact that there had not even been any growth in April/May - before the heat.
At this impasse we agreed a concessionary deal on three replacement yews balls - which duly arrived in September. In broken boxes, upside down and with loose soil. The boxes had not been prominently marked "This Way Up".
I reported these new concerns, with photos, to Bill who did not respond.
These replacement plants came in bigger pots, suggesting more mature pot-grown specimens.
Yet by this May two had died and the third had partially died off.
Keen to investigate fully this time, I removed the dead trees from their pots to find almost no visible roots. Knocking off the extremely heavy top soil revealed a minimal, pruned root structure.
These were bare-rooted plants placed in large pots of top soil, designed to look like, and undoubtedly priced as, pot grown plants.
I have comprehensive photos to corroborate my statements.
I should have read the negative reviews before ordering.
Avoid!

Really pleased with my semiviren, the actual condition of the bush was great you can tell Bill and his team take pride in the nursery they keep and I will definitely shop here again going forward.

I ordered an ilex ball, as a replacement for box, which was delivered speedily and in great condition. However, due to recent scams, I was rather worried by not being able to pay by credit card online so set up an electronic transfer which obviously took extra time and effort. I have given Boxtrees Nursery five stars for its stock and delivery time but would urge them to update their website to make ordering seemless and easier.

Box trees ordered along with euonymus plants.
Arrived in record breaking temperatures for May. Planted straight away and kept watered.
Euonymus are thriving but the box trees have died.
Boxtrees very kindly offered to replace them.

I actually spoke to a person on the telephone who was able to answer my query straight away before ordering online.
The box cones were delivered exactly when they were supposed to, with no hidden delivery charges. They are very good quality and came with very useful information.
