I have bought five fence panels (plus concrete posts and gravel boards etc) from Bradford's this year - plus two others a couple of years ago. I have always been pleased with the quality and service. One of the fence panels (Taffs framed 5' feather edged) was"out of square" on this last delivery - to the extent that if the top was in the post slot, then the bottom was not. I rang up Bradfords the following day after delivery and spoke to a call centre. My details were taken and I was promised a replacement panel the next day ( Friday). No replacement and no contact from Bradfords. I didn't want my garden open to the public over the weekend, and I realised I needed to shorten the defective panel by a few inches to fit the last position, so squared it up myself. Bradfords would not know this, so it's disappointing not to have had any follow up contact from them.

You did what we asked when we asked with a cheerful delivery driver - it makes all the differance.

Only leaving a 3 star review hoping that this review might be seen by someone in Head Office as the poor review is aimed at Management not staff or products which in my limited experience having only just moved into their supply area is good.HOWEVER…..yesterday I placed an online order for 4 off 1.8 metre lengths of Shiplap cladding for collection at the Worcester branch. The online order website was quite specific and gave me the option of various lengths. I chose 1.8 metres because it would be easy to get in my car. I received an email saying my order was ready for collection. Arriving at Worcester I was directed into the yard to collect my order, which was where the problem started - the 4 lengths were not ready for collection, instead I was told to pick out which timber I wanted and they would give me a saw to cut it into 1.8 metre lengths! When I protested the yard man said they weren’t allowed to use saws…..I then went and complained to the Manager - same reply - Health and Safety decreed nobody in their yard could use a saw. I was just staggered at this reply - how come somebody was allowed to drive a fork lift truck around the yard - answer presumably because he had been trained, I think it would be much easier to train someone to use a saw as opposed to a hand saw, not even a power saw! Also, why was I allowed to use a saw they provided? I wasn’t asked if I was qualified, or even asked to sign a disclaimer - what would there response be if I’d have cut myself?

I can just about accept the Health and Safety attitude, BUT what is screamingly annoying is that the website is specifically designed to choose lengths of timber and quality - a complete nonsense.

Moved to the area recently and visited the local Worcester branch to check some items before ordering, we were really impressed with the range and customer service which you would never normally receive from similar national chain merchant. Placed the order online, we received an email confirming that our time slot would be confirm on the date of delivery. Unfortunately we never received any notification which made unloading tricky when the driver arrived unexpectedly. Otherwise - would highly recommend.

Easy to order, easy to pay, arrived well within the time slot and an happy, chirpy delivery driver so pleasant and friendly and polite.

Driver very helpful carried the doors ordered up the drive for my 98 year old father as couldn’t get the lorry up to the house

Ordered sharp sand, bulk bag, and 4 bags of cement. I've probably had 20 bulk bags over the years from various suppliers including Bradfords. This was more like building sand, totally useless for a screed. They argued that it was sharp sand, but agreed to pick it up and refund me. I expected the 25 quid delivery charge refunded too, which I told them in a phone call, but they haven't refunded that part. I wouldn't have paid 25 quid to have 4 bags of cement delivered 1 mile away.

Really good customer service. A list minute change was accommodated kindly by Heath. Really responsive and helpful.

Great customer service! I dealt with Adam from the Worcester branch throughout my purchasing and his customer service has truly been excellent! I purchased a new build with a Symphony kitchen….i initially went to the more well known brands to find a kitchen island that matched however after a little research I found that Bradfords supplied symphony. Adam came to our home, measured up and gave a fantastic professional advice regarding colours, worktop, draw and draw interiors etc….the island is in and we could not be more pleased with it! It is the main feature of the family home and we are so pleased. Adam’s advice particularly at a time when we were overwhelmed with decisions was so welcome! Adam kept us updated and accommodated a last minute change with delivery so kindly and professionally. Bradfords and Adam from the Worcester branch in particular are highly recommended for great customer service.

Arrived but driver wasn't sure it could be unloaded where I preferred. After checking the ground, he managed to get it all in. Very happy and Bradford's delivery guys are always excellent.
