SHAME ON YOU

this company should be ashamed not only do they not even pick up all the trash they leave it scattered everywhere. i also witnessed them harrassing a homeless man and forcing him to pay them off to leave him alone on top of that they made him do there job and pick up all there trash then they went into the mans stuff and stole a bunch of his belongings. its bad enough the man was homeless but for a company to have employees blackmailing people is wrong just bc there homeless doesnt mean there not people to for shame! AS A COMPANY THAT REPRESENTS HELPING THE ENVIROMENT I SUGGEST YOU STRONGLY ENCOURAGE YOUR EMPLOYEES THAT BAD NEWS TRAVELS FASTER THEN GOOD NEWS REST ASSURE I WIL BE OBSERVATING YOUR COMPANY FROM HERE ON OUT

BrightView (Englewood / Risk Management)

Very disappointing experience with BrightView regarding a damage claim at the Woodhaven community in North Port, Florida.

During the week of April 21, 2025, a planter was damaged on my property during landscaping services. The issue was reported to the Woodhaven community and to BrightView, the contracted landscaping company. Mr. Konstantin Strelkov, Branch Administrator in Englewood, was contacted but did not respond.

Because of the lack of communication, I contacted BrightView’s Risk Management department, represented by Andrea M. Stewart. After several months, Mr. Strelkov finally acknowledged responsibility and requested that I submit an invoice for reimbursement, which I promptly provided.

Despite this acknowledgment, repeated follow-ups have gone unanswered. Since July 2025, phone calls and emails to Mr. Strelkov have not been returned. Andrea Stewart indicated she would follow up internally, but there has been no response or resolution since December.

When a company acknowledges responsibility for property damage, timely communication and follow-through should be expected. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience.

PLEASE TAKE A MOMENT TO READ MY STORY ABOUT BRIGHTVIEW

My wife and I moved to a Del Webb 55+ Community in Spring Hill, Tennessee on or about February 1, 2025. We decided to totally re-do the landscape work on our home so after following the necessary rules and going through proper protocol through the HOA, we spent about $25,000 on new landscape shrubbery in both our front and backyard. As a result, we needed to have our lawn irrigation system serviced and expanded to include new driplines and sprinkler heads. BRIGHTVIEW is the chosen contractor used by this HOA to perform multiple tasks, including lawn mowing, pine mulch installation, tree trimming, lawn irrigation servicing and weed control for this community of over 800 homes. The Manager for Brightview is a man named "ROSS."

I contacted our Assistant Community Manager to ask how I might contact Ross on June 4, 2025, and he provided me with his e-mail address. Consequently, I wrote to him and asked if he could call me and left my mobile number. On June 9th, after hearing nothing from "Ross", I wrote again and provided my name and number. After hearing nothing, I asked one of his employees if he could get a message to Ross on June 16th to contact me or stop by since he is somewhere in the neighborhood each day. The employee of Brightview promised to get him the message. I wrote back for the third time on June 23 pleading that he take a moment to call me about my lawn irrigation situation. As you can guess, Ross once again ignored my calls for help. On June 24th, I saw the Brightview employee who said, "Ross told me that he has received all of your messages and he told me to tell you that he is not going to write you or stop by your home."

At that point, I attempted to speak with our Community Manager from First Service Residential (FSR), but it took two weeks for her to finally call me back as well. I explained my situation, and she promised to have Ross contact me. After a couple weeks had passed, I asked the Community Manager, Shea, if we could just set up a meeting face-to-face and she responded that she would try. When I inquired of her some days later, she said, "Ross is on vacation but you have my word that I will ask him to call you as soon as he returns." Once again, although Ross returned from vacation, three days went by before he called to leave a message on my mobile. The caller readout said, "Unknown Caller" and had no telephone number associated with the device he was using. He told me that he would "try" to stop by the next morning......"but no promises."

Alas, Ross showed up at my door one day, nearly two months after I first attempted to reach him to hire his company to redesign my lawn irrigation system costing several thousand dollars. He was immediately curt, dismissive and unprofessional saying that as a resident, I am expected to fill out a form if I need Brightview assistance and informing me that he takes his orders from the GAC Committee and they told him not to have conversations with owners at Southern Springs. As a side note, The Ground and Assets Committee (GAC) is managed by owners of this development. I highly doubt they told him not to talk with other owners who are their neighbors.

I finally hired a lawn irrigation company to redesign my irrigation system in August 2025 after losing a few shrubs due to the lack of water. Total Cost of irrigation work - $3,332.

I wanted to share this story with you as I value those with qualities like good customer service, good and honest communication and common decency. Ross has NONE of those qualities and if you have an opportunity to look at good American companies to do this type of work, do NOT hire BRIGHTVIEW. They apparently are extremely lax in their employee screening.

Reportedly, Mr. Broadway has also snubbed other Southern Springs owners as well who gave up trying to connect with him.

DO NOT HIRE BRIGHTVIEW - PASS THIS ON.......

Brightview Landscape Jacksonville Negative Review

Brightview "landscaping" company is doing an extremely poor job at our condo community. They are uncooperative in doing the things in our contract. Actually they refuse to fulfill the contract. They only mow and that's done poorly. They don't pick up debris before they mow. They mow over it, spreading it everywhere, or throw it onto the shrubs. They don't remove leaves. If we force them to, they blow the leaves onto our patios or leave them in piles on the grass. They don't lay mulch (without a threatening letter from an attorney). Then they only do part of the job. They throw fallen branches behind the bushes to hide them. The don't do bush trimming until they've grown 6 feet above the shrubs and we pester them to do it. They don't maintaing the sprinklers so our grass and shrubs are dead or dying. They don't do anything but mow without a fight. We contracted with them for far, far more. We deserve a refund and will not be renewing our contract.

Good morning to everyone that work for the Bright View Customer Center. I do hope that all of yous are doing ok smile. Also I do hope that all of yous will have a very wonderful day ok smile.In ending I want to tell all of yous that two of your very very very very wonderful Staff members listed below are always so very Professional Helpful and very very very Caring to me and others too ok smile. Last of all I must say that both Men has very very Excellent Communication Skills and knows and love their job so very much ok smile. Below are the two names .
