Clean air zones

Received today 06/05/2025

On back of letter it states payment in full or contact to make arrangements to pay before 03/05/2025

Contacting Bristow Sutor , explained I only received letter today

Their answer was unbelievable!
"We are not responsible for the delay with post "

No post mark on envelope which is obviously done on purpose to screw you out of more money

Company are a bunch of crooks 😡

I would give a zero if I could

I would give a zero if I could. Received a revoking order from the court after appealing a PCN. Finally had a letter from Bristow & Sutor to call them in order to provide bank details for the refund and after contacting by email and by phone, denying all knowledge of letter and cannot find my case file!! An absolute joke. Quick to send bailiffs to recover money but not so quick returning it. Did I magic a letter up from them or are they really that useless. I will be taking them to court myself as it's caused unnecessary stress and anxiety. This case is over 2 years old and still no money back!

Just spoken to the most nicest person on the phone called Belinda and I must say it was an absolute pleasure in talking to someone with an understanding of life's ups and downs . There are some good people out there and Belinda is a fine example 👌 Thank you Belinda

Disgusting people

Disgusting people, when I received the letter I rang a nasty horrible rude vile woman answered no respect mocking too, I explain I'm disabled with mental disabilities, I explained I've repeatedly tried to pay the debt of via the real owners iow council but iow council repeatedly refused plan ment plan ect she said so what you need set up a standing order I said I'll do it on the 24th I tried to set it up on the 23rd for the 24th but due to a misprint on their letter the standing order information was wrong so I had to wait until the next day to set it up and unfortunately due to how standing orders work it couldn't be set up for the 24th so I had to then set the standing order up to start next month and by the 25th they sent me a threatening and vile text message saying I don't have anymore chances to set and I need pay the balance in full in the next week or else they need to be shut down they are no professional they have no hearts no respect they hire nasty people

Had a visit from Max.. handcuffs?!

Had a visit from Max… seems to think he’s a police officer with his clothing & he has handcuffs clipped to his utility belt which as a ‘ bailiff ‘ he has absolutely no use for… also carrying an ID that’s clearly in a wallet to imitate a Warrant Card. Not sure this fits within the new ecb guidelines….

Denies receiving tracked mail and uses bullying tactics

Disgraceful company which denies receiving tracked letters, refuses payment plans when you are only on disability benefit and send bullying enforcement officers to try and make you pay money upfront that you cannot afford.
Am in my 60s and have mental health and respiratory problems. They are just trying to intimidate to get money upfront and not work with the customer to set up a payment plan.
Information request responded to immediately plus Special Delivery letter with Notice of Vulnerability received by B&S on 6/5 and still they are ignoring me and carrying on with their harassment.

Its a scam company

Its a scam company, sent us fake pcn but lol a registration number which I never even had . Good i called actual council to check if they actually have a PCN on my name. Close save

Horrendous call centre

Horrendous call centre, zero help after numerous calls! Unswered emails and unanswered WhatsApps.
Told today WhatsApp is unmanned so won't get a reply yet it's on your website.
I called to confirm debt no longer with them but back with the council.
Uninterested, unhelpful.
Told I couldn't speak to a manager because they can't transfer calls.
Feel so upset about the whole ordeal.
You call up and they don't even ask why your calling just "are you calling to make a payment" , you say no and they say "we'll why?"
Horrendous, please answer my emails as asked 3 days ago.
Email has been sent to the complaints team also.

Horrible excuse for a human being!

The agent I spoke to from Bristow and Sutor showed a sociopathic lack of empathy, threats and a complete lack of interest , coupled with her condescending monotone blabber caused me to end the call!
They'll probably answer my review with some half baked apology as they have every other review on trust pilot, but they don't really care, if they did, they wouldnt allow these sewer rats to keep working for them!

they cannot take control of goods for a traffic contravention

trying to claim taking over goods under a warrant of control for a traffic contravention. under the courts and crime act taking control of goods cannot be exercised for a traffic contravention which they should know. a court document doesnt supercede an act of paliament. This is classed as organised crime and i have just opened up a civil and criminal case against them on malicious coomunicatios, fraud by posisiton of power, domestic and economic abuse and blackmail

I miss one payment for £30 on my payment payment plan with this terrible company I had the Bailey's come around Easter Sunday to ask for £800 I am a 61-year-old man very ill and on benefits this is ridiculous I have continued paying after I missed the one payment and they still sent the Baileys round

Scumbags

Had a payment plan set up, paid off each week as proposed and then get a text to say good and vehicle will be taken, rung up to give proof of payments and they said the reference number was wrong, even tho it's the reference they gave in an email and now they don't know where the money has gone. Absolute cretins.

Paul @ Bristow & Sutor is terrible

Paul @ Bristow & Sutor is terrible. I have had dealings with B&S before and they understood the situation but for some reason Paul must of thought his dad owned B&S. He ended the call on when I was trying to discuss payment arrangements and told me its not possible even though i have had previous dealings with them and have been able to make arrangements.

I spoke CAB and they stated that I can make an arrangement and that B&S are chatting absolute BS!

Will be taking this matter further with the hopes that Paul and anyone like him loses there job and hopefully end up in debt.

Will be contacting everyone on LinkedIn to tell them all about Paul and how awful he is to deal with and chatting absolute lies

Absolutely despicable company

Absolutely despicable company. Very Rude and condescending after being blindsided by a ULEZ fine.
They offered NO care or consideration to circumstances and just want the money. They do not work with you to pay the debt affordable. They even can’t find a payment made and tried to say I still owed that amount.

Awful company, their enforcement agent unlawfully clamped my vehicle and a day later it is still not unclamped, the call center staff let me know that there a group chat? and that's how they communicate? I have called all day and all yesterday to be told 'give it and hour' repeatedly and there is still a clamp on my car! I have missed work and medical appointments and there is still a clamp on my car illegally!
Have not recieved an information request either, absolute liars and so rude.

S Singh likes to bully little girls

Had the misfortune to have to deal with a Mr Singh. Who had handed my Autistic daughter a letter at my door and demanded she passed it onto me "or he'd have to come back" Absolute melt trying to intimidate a 15 year old autistic child. There was a number on the letter so I rang it to try and sort it out so my daughter wasn't put in that position again. One of the following rat things he said was why the **** are you calling me if you haven't got the money? To which I replied why is your number on the letter if you don't want me to contact you. Conversation ended with him telling me "We" will be back later to remove goods.

No possession of goods order or catalogue of goods done. The letter he left states my goods are bound i mustn't sell, Move or otherwise dispose of them. How would they know what i have in my house without ever doing a catalogue of goods being done? Absolute clowns who try to use intimidation and circumvent the law to collect debts. The letter doesn't even have my legal name on it, Any form of reference or case number, I'm not even obliged to allow the clown entry so how he thinks he's going to seize goods is beyond me.

I've offered to pay in installments etc, No we want the full amount or else. Ok good luck.

Intimidating, Unresponsive, and Unprofessional – Agent Amy’s Behaviour Was Appalling

I had a terrible experience with Bristow & Sutor. An agent named Amy was extremely rude, aggressive, and used foul language. Her behaviour was intimidating and completely unprofessional, showing no regard for UK laws or ethical standards.

To make matters worse, my emails were completely ignored — no acknowledgment, no response, nothing. This shows a total lack of accountability and respect for people trying to resolve issues the right way.

I’ve reported this conduct and strongly encourage others to do the same. Companies like this should not be allowed to operate unchecked.

Avoid them at all costs

I have just had the most arrogant…

I have just had the most arrogant caller on phone claiming to be recovery agent, went through everything id address etc. Claims I owe for highways fine back in December 2024, knew nothing about this had recieved nothing in post, he then prattled on when letters were (not recieved) he blamed me for ignoring said letters, I explained if I owed this money it would have been questioned on receipt of 1st supposed letter sent, he then got abusive and has threatened me with a removal visit, I then phone the office who were no help at all and dismissed my call and told me to deal with original caller.

I have explained I am at work and there is a vulnerable adult( with carer) at home so please do not attend my property unless you can assertain trained staff will attend, got told no there will be removal regardless and to make matters worse I never even refused them a payment just asked to pay at end of month !!!.

Total lack of compassion understanding and if the staff acted like in any other company I'm sure there would be mass dismissals but it seems these robots ( won't call them people as people have understanding and compassion) just think they are above those who find themselves on the receiving end of their actions, vile attitude and arrogance.

Bristow and Sutor you should hang your head in shame and also consider staff training because your staff suck at customer service.
