Zero rating. Absolutely terrible. Product (a cardigan) arrived eventually, was rubbish. I decided to post it back, as I was promised a full refund if I did so. Since then, procrastination, and most recently my emails appeared to be blocked. So no progress no refund. I’ve lost what I paid for the article itself plus about £20 the return postage cost me. These companies should be banned.

The items I ordered were listed incorrectly on the site; described as short sleeved and when they arrived from CHINA they were long sleeved. After long waits to my emails they refused to fully refund me saying I had to sent the shirts back to China which would have cost more than the shirts. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SITE! THEY ARE NOT BRITISH AND NOT REPECTABLE.

The "Traditional Handwoven Panama Sun Hat" that I ordered was described as foldable . It arrived packed in a plastic bag and crushed. It is cheap and nasty, made from paper and with a metal ring around the brim(so not foldable at all). Nothing like described.
The returns process requires you to pay for postage to China.
Customer Services string you along and then go quiet.
I have written this off as wasted money.

My jacket arrived , unfortunately it didn’t fit. I decided to return it and request a refund. I emailed a number of times within any response until I received a refund through PayPal. The only return address is in China. Not only is this a waste of resources but also expensive.

Avoid this company at all cost. I made a purchase with this UK listed company, the goods received did not match the description. I initiated a return / refund process on the day of delivery. After several weeks of chasing and non response, they eventually asked me to return the goods to another company in China, which I refused given my contract is with the UK company. Weeks later and following complete denial and avoidance from them, they have advised my return period has timed out! I found a telephone contact number for them but that just rings out.

Sandals completely different to what I ordered, supposed to be orthopaedic and they are definitely not, Very poorly made and uncomfortable. This company is pretending to be British which should be illegal, in fact it's a chinese company and goods are shipped from china. When it says dispatched within 1-3 days it means from china and my delivery took over 2 weeks. If you want to return an item you have to pay to ship it all the way back to china. Only when looking back on their page for support did I notice they do not allow reviews on any of their products. The website needs taking down. I've been scammed and feel like an idiot.

Ordered a silk pillowcase for £40 on 26th May and it arrived on 20th July! Once I’d ordered it I tried to cancel it immediately due to having read the reviews. But they never got back to me.
I have requested a refund and 24 hours later they have not responded to my request. I am not happy with the pillowcase. It looks cheaply made and there is no material label to tell me what material it is, but I’m highly doubtful it is silk.
Avoid at all costs!

Wish I had read reviews before ordering. Got shoes but incorrect size, returned and no response to refund. Paypal useless

O really, something has got to done in law to stop these rogue traders taking people's money under false pretences. I should have known, China again ! ordered a pair of size 9 orthopedic shoes, they are stamped as size 41 ( UK 9 ) but arrived size 7 to 8 at most. No point in asking for a refund, looked at other customers complaints and should have known better.

Tops are not knitted more like a pajama top not as described. Pocket on one of the top on back to front. No discount applied as stated in advertising. A complete con and show be banned from trading.

wished I'd read the reviews. I bought some suede cowboy boots. they took 2 and a half weeks to arrive.
The boots are definitely not made of suede.

I ordered a pair of, as advertised, slip on suede orthopaedic clogs, what arrived I could had made myself, they absolutely contravened the description. After numerous attempts they refused to give me a returns address then stated my refund was 2 days over the claim period. I imagine some backstreet factory is using slave labour to turn out all their shoddy products and communication is through AI
Please don’t be fooled by their ads and don’t touch them with a barge pole.

I ordered a jacket from British Elegance, but unfortunately it did not fit my husband.

When I tried to return it, I discovered that the return had to be sent to China at my own expense. This was not made clear to me before purchase. Their website advertised wording such as “14 Days Guarantee with Free Returns”, which gave me the impression that returning an unsuitable item would be straightforward.

I contacted them within 14 days of delivery and asked for either a prepaid return label, a UK return address, confirmation that they would reimburse the postage to China, or a suitable refund solution. They refused all of these.

I also raised concerns that the telephone number shown on their website did not work when I tried to call them during the return period. Their reply was simply that they would forward the feedback to the relevant department, but they still refused to help.

Their position is now that because I did not physically send the parcel back within their return window, the matter is closed — even though I contacted them within the return period and was disputing the fact that the China return cost had not been made clear before ordering.

Very disappointing experience. In my opinion, the return process is misleading and not customer-friendly. I would not order from British Elegance again, and I would advise others to check the return address and return costs very carefully before buying.

I ordered two expensive memory foam pillows at a cost of £94.00 and was told they were in stock - ordered on 18th June and I have emailed them twice on 29th June and on 2nd July and no response or acknowledgement whatsoever - I fear I will never get my pillows or a refund ! Ordered a pair of shoes were told they would arrive to the courier June 16 then again June29 delivered that day one shoe toe flattened badly one shoe one inch wider due to bad assembly no good as a pair of slippons tried to contact them to return the rubbish impossible to make contact they are not based in the U K despite the marketing but possibly in South China waste of money

Wish I had read the reviews! Ordered a shirt using the guidelines, it took over two weeks to arrive at it is way too big, have tried calling the Customer Support number on the website - it fails immediately, emailed three times, no response! Lesson for me is to not order from companies unless I know them! Dreadful online experience.

Ordered a garment from this company and used their sizing guide - XL = 44" chest which would have fitted me. When the garment arrived it was marked as XL but the chest measured 39". Absolutely useless.

Despite 2 attempts to contact this company to expedite a return, they have completely ignored these messages. They are nothing more than a bunch of shysters.
