Somewhat of a delay on delivery due to out of stock item then staff summer holidays probably meant I got lost in the system for a while. Items all truly excellent although considerably larger sized trousers arrived to what I ordered but I'll make use of them in winter with cold weather gear underneath. The trousers are like a marquee, so large you could almost host a wedding reception in them, no worries, they'll be my winter of disco-tent . . . . My apologies to all Shakespeare fans out there.

From the moment I ordered communication was faultless right up to delivery all the items where supposed to be grade 1 but everything was basically new still with labels on,would definitely use this company again price,availability and service second to none

My son recently joined the RAFAC, they supply all of his uniform apart from combat kit etc.
I found BMS online, having looked at several other Army Surplus sellers, the "Cadet starter kit" looked really good value for money, particularly as it includes a choice of five different manufacturers of boots (subject to size and availability).
I ordered the kit, along with a couple of other items. I had to return the boots as they were the wrong size (his feet have grown!) but it was dealt with, with no issues
The quality of the kit is exceptional, the customer service is first class. I thoroughly recommend BMS. Special thanks to Sammie for sorting the boots out for us.

Really disappointing experience with British Military Surplus/Field Textiles. I ordered and paid for MTP Warm Weather Trousers, and a pair arrived, but they were a couple of sizes smaller than I'd ordered and had been described on the order form and invoice. Since purchase, they have failed to answer multiple emails and phone calls. Avoid.

A Ukrainian friend ordered items from British Military Surplus to send to her husband who is in the Ukrainian army. It was a really important order to her, both because of its content and because of the money involved. The goods were ordered in November and never arrived. It was very difficult to get the company on the phone. When eventually I did, a very helpful man took the order number and said that we should hear back within days. That was two weeks ago and we have heard nothing. Now the phone is not being answered again.

Ordered some haix boots unworn and cracking boots highly recommended boots, however order army navy and airforce jumpers.
Two came packaged up and very good quality, however the raf one looked like it had been dragged through a hedge and had big hole in it and not banged up immediately thought someone had thrown there old one in and taken mine during packing. The site says email for returns I spent a week emailing never got a reply then rang and was told I needed to email so did again again no response so called again and was told to pack up item saying if wanted replacement or refund told them every time I called I wanted a replacement and my postage refunding as it was there fault.
I put this all in the letter when returning the jumper, I got my postage refunded however they also refunded the jumper cost and washed there hands of it I should have received a replacement jumper at there cost to post out again as it was there fault sending faulty item I had paid for the postage on my original order and as such they were obliged to honour, there agreement to send a replacement and refund my postage for returning the item they sent faulty as they don’t do return labels. But no they wanted to simply forget the whole thing, was looking to order more items after they posted swiftly the boots are great two jumpers good but there terrible customer service when something is sent out faulty despite saying on there site nothing will have holes in them. So won’t deal with again appalling.

Ordered just before Xmas even with Royal Mail strikes delivered on 28th, just what I ordered can’t fault them 👍

Advertising items that are not in stock and taking payment straight away. Myself and one other person I know of ordered boots that are on their website as in stock.

Received email confirmation of royal mail dispatch and then a week later was phoned to say no stock and no idea if or when there would be any.

I Emailed a day later to confirm cancellation of order, no reply so phoned them a day later. Told they hadn't checked emails but would the next day. Still no reply a few days later so have had to raise a PayPal case to try and get my money back.

I bought used Altberg boots at very low price. Boots looks like new. One drawback, delivery took some time and tracking number did not exist.

Ordered via the website. Got a prompt dispatch email with a Royal Mail tracking number that did not exist. No reply to many emails and no answer on the phone. Opened a PayPal dispute and got a refund.

Don’t know where the negative reviews come from,everything I’ve ordered has arrived sharply and in either brand new condition or super grade.Definitely use again.

Originally I ordered a grade 1 basha for an upcoming holiday, delivery took about a week and sadly on arrival it was a bit worse for wear and certainly wasn't a grade 1 basha, but I always offer a firm a chance to help the situation as it could have been a genuine mistake.

Thanks to Sammie to for picking up my email super quick and advising it was a simple packing error and without question sent me another basha as a replacement, you really can't ask for a better experience in this situation and I am really grateful for the quick turn around and friendly response.

Needed some cheap kit for paintball. Arrived quickly, quality was as expected. I Would order again!

Ordered 5 shirts, 5 came, only two were the correct size, colour or type. despite many phone calls I've never received the right shirts or the promised refund. Along the way I have been fobbed off, avoided and eventually directly lied too. Beware, this company keeps the money but doesn't provide the goods.Customer service is not in their lexicon!

Ordered some Altberg Defender boots , took my money and then nothing.... after ringing several times and at first being told they were being readied for dispatch we were finally told they didn't have the boots and would have to order them in !!!! all this over a period of nearly 2 weeks . Decided on a refund only to be told they hadn't taken the money , our bank transactions knew different , they argued the point but a refund was duly issued which saved us taking out a Paypal dispute... Would NEVER use again .

Ordered a pair of goggles and they arrived damaged.Rang they straight away and was reassured a new pair will be delivered by Friday. Sent photos of the damaged item and got email from the manager saying a new pair was shipped. Friday comes round and no goggles. Now I have to spend even more money on a crap pair of goggles that I’l only use once

The Jumper I received was very short in the body and so totally unwearable.

Their "Customer Service" couldn't care less and claimed it wasn't their problem

I paid £165, nothing arrived and two weeks later my card was refunded for £115, with no explanation at all, so I am £50 out of pocket with nothing to show for it. At least I know why they are cheap - they are scammers.

Avoid !! They trade under various platforms such as ebay and own retail site, Avoid !!! as other google reviews state. Placed a single jacket order. Chased it after Seven days. Promised it would be sent out. The reason given was because it was such a small order it had been missed. Would be picked that afternoon and dispatched..... guess what it was not. I chased again apologies, apologies, apologies and more apologies. Asked for a refund was told straight away and guess what still waiting !!!! Please avoid.

Update - Refund has arrived but only after opening a dispute case through Paypal.
