A looter, fraud from top to toe

This is a fraudulent business, I have invested 5k on Seedrs (now Republic) into this platform, I’m qualified to comment.
Check out the people who were involved and be careful whatever business you start with these guys.

Poor investment management
Usually investment in real estate is a mid- to long term investment. This is clear even from the fact that it is accompanied with considerable amount of side costs (like legal, accounting fees, taxes etc). They may take up to 10-15% of the investment value.
However, this was not clear for British Pearl. They purchased properties, spent 10-15% for fees at the moment of purchase and then decided to sell the properties in about 1.5 years. Does it seem sound? Of course, this is a loss making strategy.
Moreover, they have frozen distribution of dividends to shareholder almost 1 year prior to sale of the properties, accumulating rent income on the accounts of the investment vehicle.
And then, they just sold the properties with that accumulated cash from rent to the owner of their Group with a 17% loss.
For me this sounds like a well thought strategy to earn some money for Lord Stanley Fink - the ultimate owner of the Group, who finally acquired the properties at a well discounted price.
Definitely stay away in the future from this and other businesses of these people.

Suddenly it wants to sell the portfolio in April 20, barely 2 years after starting up, citing Covid difficulties. Everyone knows property is a medium term to long term investment.

At the same time the CEO is making noises about expanding globally.
