The quality of the potted roses I received today, September 3rd., is absolutely outstanding. Vigorous, leafy, still budding (hybrid musk ‘Felicia’), well established.

Just received my beautiful climbing rose - very impressed with the quality of the rose and the packaging. Lovely healthy rose, even got some buds on it, thoroughly recommend.

I ordered 2 potted roses, paid for both of them + shipping, then I cancelled one rose prior to dispatch which is authorised in their T&C. I received one potted rose in perfect condition, healthy leaves and with buds. But I never received a refund for the rose I cancelled. I contacted them several times and they keep saying they have refunded me. That's a LIE, I didn't receive a penny back from this company and I paid one potted rose 42£, that's the price for two roses!!!! What a rip-off!

Ordered "Queen Elizabeth" floribunda rose online, and delighted (not to say amazed) when it arrived next day, beautifully packed in a sturdy cardboard box. The rose itself, planted in a good-sized 4 litre pot, is a strong and very healthy bush, with abundant, beautiful, spotless, disease-free foliage and a lot of flower buds. Delivery cost was reasonable, and the plant itself is excellent value, a good bit cheaper than some other nurseries' price for the same rose - and I very much doubt any other nursery would have a better quality plant. I will definitely be ordering again.

My rose Maid of Kent arrived today ahead of schedule and wow what a wonderful specimen it is, great packaging protecting it as well, I would like to congratulate British Roses(Rumwood Nursery's )on the quality of their Roses, well done 😃👍👍👍

Second rose order, this one is a blush noisette, first one was Reines de Violettes. Both roses came in very good condition and the RdV is thriving in my new (less than a year old) rose garden (28 varieties now and counting!) Great prices, great roses, will certainly order again.

Ordered pot grown Rose, but received an almost dead rose that appeared to be removed directly from the ground and stuck in a tall pot ( I believe it was bare rooted) The compost just fell away from the plant to reveal a very short root which appeared to have been trimmed.
We complained and they sent another one which was slightly better, but still not grown in the pot as we were lead to believe. It will be interesting to see if it survives.
Lesson, buy from your local garden centre then you can see what you are getting.

Never write reviews until today, just received my potted climbing rose, very quick delivery and the rose is in such a good healthy state with buds and packaged so well no damage what's so ever. Will be telling friends and family.

I have bought roses from them for many years and the quality is outstanding. I tend to buy potted roses and they arrive in a nice sized pot and in very healthy condition - I ordered mine in April. I was so happy with my last purchase I felt I should leave a positive review. They have a lovely selection of old and modern roses. I'm a particular fan of hybrid musk roses and they carry them and in particular Moonlight, which isn't so easy to find these days! Thank you!

Rose received quickly, when I opened it the leaves had a powdery mildew on. When I reported this I had a speedy curt response by email to say it is the hard water in their area and not mildew. Can't believe that if everyone receives the roses looking like that they give good feedback, good job it wasn't a present.
You would think hard water residue would wash off, perhaps it would be better forewarning purchasers.

So how can you write a review for an order that didn’t arrive! Absolutely no customer service whatsoever! Ordered rose plant to be delivered to a friend who had recently lost her father. Order confirmation stated 7-10days delivery and although I thought this was quite long I ordered and waited and waited…..after the 10days I emailed to ask where the order was - automated response only. Then I phone to be told my money had been refunded!!!!! Cause item was out of stock! With no communication whatsoever and a customer services rep who was just like sorry for that but that’s just the way it is! Definitely won’t use this company again, communication and customer service dreadful, can’t comment on the actual product cause my friend never received it!!

British Roses eh? Scottish customers beware - they don’t ship free north of the border, rather ask an extortionate delivery cost. There are other plant suppliers who will gladly ship free!
Not clever when most of us want to remain a united Britain.

When sadness is so hard to take, the Roses that I ordered for a lost friend, brought smiles to the family.
Sent to Scotland , I was told that they could take a few days to arrve? Within 2 days, perfect rose plants arrived. Packaging was excellent. A Phone call from the family, could not believe that the roses had travelled so well and they will live a long and happy life I am sure, reminding the family of their family loss. Words are hard to say, but they now have 'British Roses' to thank for beautiful roses I am sure.Thank you to all concerned.

Rumwoods (British Roses) is my best-ever online plant buying experience. I bought four roses and all were bigger than I expected and really healthy - glossy green leaves, good shape, and lots of blossom buds. The postage was expensive, but that's my only complaint. (Had I known how good the roses would be I would have ordered more in my first order; as it is, I'll be making a second order.)

I ordered a Rose as a gift for a special friend so I wanted it to be perfect - and it was. It came much quicker than the estimated delivery time and was well packaged. The rose itself was a good size, colour is as described and had obviously been recently watered. I would definitely use this company again and would recommend to others.

I have just ordered from British Roses for the very first time and I have to say I was very impressed with the admin i.e. keeping me up appraised of the order and delivery etc. The quality of the potted plant was superb as was the packaging...no damage, no lost compost. The price was very good too, even when taking in the costs of p&p.

Absolutely stunned at the abundance of leaves and even some buds on my two roses, which were delivered well packaged and quicky. It is December 9th and I expected them to look a bit sorry for themselves but they are picture perfect. Well done British Roses!

Absolutely stunning rose orderd! Has plenty of green foliage and loads of flower buds ready to open! Rose is a decent size for the price i paid! Absolutely in love with my new rose and would definitely order again! Delivery was fast and quick & i was kept fully updated with what was going on with my order!

I ordered 4 different varieties roses from them, that was my first order from this web-site. All 4 arrived extremely fast, in 3-4 days after I placed the order! All of them are in perfect condition: bushy foliage, lots of flower buds, no diseases. I'm already looking to order more!

I wish I never bought a plant from this firm the rose was awful no growth on it awful service a rose this time of year should be a full healthy plant what they sent me was awful no grown at all like a winter rose asked for refund was told to send the rose back!! Waste of money look elsewhere wish I did never buy anything from them again.
