Still a very poor app despite the recent update. Unable to hide any homework tasks that have been completed. Teachers on occasion will put the incorrect submission type so it’s impossible to hide the homework task. Many old tasks that were hidden in the previous app version are now clogging up the interface. Compared to SatchelOne, this is a really useless app for students. PLEASE get this working effectively.

The new update seems good... until you use it. New interface? Fine but nothing special. Nicer than the old one I suppose. Now, what will most students and school use Bromcom for? Homework. Many teachers set homework to be handed in in class, but FOR SOME REASON Bromcom seems to have never heard of such a novel idea. So, in older versions, I used the "Hide" feature to hide my completed homework. No problem right? WRONG!!!! In the newest update, THEY REMOVED THE HIDE FUNCTION!!!!! I have a fairly respectable iPhone 12, but THIS APP COMPLETELY LAGS it out!! Oh, so I want to check my homework from 2 DAYS AGO? NOPE IT CRASHES! What do you want me to do? be drowned by the unending stream of assignments and revision long due. Keep up the good work + PLEASE fix it soon. Bye :)

Bromcom. I defended you. No one likes you, however I spoke up and said ‘no they're not that bad’. All because you took my picture down. But now, I refresh and log back in and guess what’s there. My elongated, stretched out, straight from a horror film face. I cannot describe how rapidly I closed that tab, and quite frankly Bromcom, I dont wanna open it up again. Do better, you are 💩💩💩💩💩💩

Switched over to Bromcom recently. Was skeptical because of the reviews on here, and honestly the switch has gone well! Bromcom is better than SIMS so far, and is a good experience. However, plenty of ways to optimise it, such as the home view improving, seeing past periods/classes etc. I will update my review after some more time using to see if it continues to be a positive experience.

I am trying to create a report in Bromcom, It does contain a large volume of data. It is causing the report system to crash and error, it will not save any fields I add and it doesn't save the order I have put the fields in the report. I feel like I have found a major floor in the system, given this is a cloud based application its should have the capabilities to run reports with large sets, as a bare minimum. The help team were not even sure why this was happening as they had the same issue when creating.

Asthmatic website, needs a more powerful server - obviously a very old/slow server or badly written website with too much excess code. Nightmare to get info from - waiting ages for the screen to update. Apart from that its great 🤣

Bromcom glitches mostly and sets detention for all the students, no notifications, no assignment options, terrible layout. Not good at all

Thanks to Bromcom I have been transported back to my NQT year, 1993: Paper registers, children running slips of paper down to student support, will be recommissioning my old OHP and the Banda printer next. Thanks Bromcom

I work in a school that recently switched to Bromcom. On the surface it has functionality galore. Lots of capability and so many areas it can really help us.

But, some simple things are hard to do. Most importantly at Busy times of year i.e Start of School Term it just "falls over".

I won't say too much here as this is a personal account, but I have heard other schools had similar problems today.

Back in the days when Schools all used Capita or some Council offered MIS there would be outrage if a system was this bad. Somehow now education has crept towards the "private" sector people just put up with it.

This website is so bad. It is so overly complicated and difficult to use and just feels like a cheap version of classcharts made in a weekend. It takes ages to load and just sucks overall. My school has just switched from classcharts to bromcom and all of the teachers hate it

bromcom works very well. although the loading takes quite a bit, once its all done every feature works perfectly! i am so impressed with this and i recommend this more than other horrible websites such as satchel.one which is super buggy with nothing working.

I hate this service it seems cheaply made it is so hard to use I can’t easily see my detentions the app has the same problems there isn’t even a proper iPad or laptop format if I should recommend a service I recommend EduLink it is so much better

We have bromcom at our school, prior to the update it was bad, since it is terrible. It is slow, illogical and so difficult to use. I have never spoken to a teacher that recommends it. They must have undercut other platforms by so much then put no funding into the development and it shows. I am less effective at my job beacuse the system is so bad.

Seriously not worth it. I find Bromcom overly complicated with too many tabs you will never use. The website itself is extremely unorganised and it feels like everything has been put in a random order so it is hard to find anything. Also some people may struggle to login since for some it says 'account not found'. If you want a good website I highly recommend Satchel One instead. Bromcom is also pretty expensive at £10 per student and not worth the money

Very very bad the layout is messed up and everything and my attendence is wrong
