The guys BPE really cared about my order. They called for exact sizing and shot and email when I didn’t get back to them promptly. I received my in just a couple of days and it fit very well. A follow up call with their BD guy was a pleasant experience. Everyone should buy their gear from these guys.

I’m 5’8”, 170lbs. Bought The Operator (along with a second carrier) in medium size for personal and professional use. Feels very lightweight and much easier to move around in than other armors I’ve used. Fit is perfect for my size and the carriers feel solid as well.

So far, I’m very satisfied with the purchase. I’ll have to see how the carriers hold up over time after repeated cleanings.

When I saw their ad online I was impressed with how inconspicuous the vest is, plus how the owner obviously trusts the product with the live test. After receiving the operator I am very pleased with how light-weight it is while still providing peace of mind; it's surprisingly comfortable for what it is. Also the customer service was above and beyond, they reached out to verify sizing before shipment and to verify fit after receiving, making sure the whole process went smoothly. I recommend these vests to anyone looking and will have to grab a jacket for the winter as well

I purchased the black operator, and found it be very versatile. You can wear it over a shirt and look overtly security-ish, under a shirt and be fairly unnoticeable, or wear a jacket, hoodie, or flannel and have it be almost entirely indistinguishable from an undershirt. Customer service was great about confirming my size and following up on my experience purchasing from them.
EDIT: I also received a free backpack, with a promo code, that I passed on to my roommate since I already have an armored backpack. He loved how spacious it was, with many pockets for his medical and toolkits. I thought it looked a little obviously tactical, but to each their own.

The after sale care is really good and the knowledge of fit is superb. They ae coming out with new products which I can't wait to see. 5 stars

It's amazing to me that I keep seeing people as recently as a couple months ago getting their orders, when there are a lot of us who have been waiting over 6 years, have been lied to over and over about shipping, and still have nothing to show for it (You can go look at their Indiegogo campaign for proof).

I ordered a bullet proof hoodie for my husband in October. It’s been 7 weeks today. I still have not received my order and my emails go unanswered. I called and a lady told me it was shipping the next day. That was two weeks ago. Beware! Shop elsewhere!! They obviously don’t give a rat’s behind about their customers.

Edit: the owner, Dallas, just reached out to me. He was so personable and very apologetic. My order is on its way and I’m excited to receive it. They are a small company and lost an employee recently and got a lot of orders through YouTube and are trying so hard to get it done. I felt a little bad at my impatience knowing the struggles they’re having.

Just felt scared I wasn’t going to get my order with no email follow up.

I’ll update again once I receive my order and my husband wears it.

I had an excellent experience. I purchased the vest due to a review on YouTube by mrgunsandgear. The video showed the vest was very concealable and demonstrated great protection. When the vest came, I was most impressed with the workmanship at this price point. It looked like it was going to meet my needs exactly. The customer service is second to none. Unfortunately I am a on the large size and the fit was a bit too snug. After exhausting all avenues to try and accommodate my wish for a vest, Bulletproof Everyone gave me a prompt refund once they received the vest back in good condition. The process could not have been easier. They also promised to keep me informed if/when larger sizes are available.

Just got my Operator. NOT impressed! There is zero side coverage with the panels making this not wearable for work. In addition The zippers and material of the carrier are clearly poor quality and I can already tell this would not stand up to regular wear in a working environment. I will not be ordering additional products.

Update: After receiving and inspecting the products we can report that quality of construction is very high. I will personally trust my life to this armor with confidence. Communication with the company was difficult and we received an automated response on a Monday that customer service had been given an "extended weekend" although it was not a holiday.

Original: Did a test order for my company. The item ordered is for personal use but there was a possibility of a much bigger relationship. Sadly, this is not the company for large, time-sensitive orders. Quoted lead times got longer with each contact. From 5 to 10 to 15 business days.

There was a hiccup with one of my orders, however after reaching out, Isaiah thoroughly explained the situation and succinctly handled the hiccup with my own suggested recompense. Now that's customer service, actually listening to the customer. Glowingly satisfied with this buying experience and fantastic customer service Isaiah. Thank you!

This is a revision to a review I had written earlier. Every single interaction I've had with this company has been difficult at best, and as much as I'd like to give them more than just one star I can't do that in good faith -- they've tied my hands at this point.

Before I even purchased a shirt from them, I asked for an estimate of a turnaround time. I've bought armor before in the past and didn't want to get put on another 12 week long wait list.. They told me it'd be 10 days so I went and purchased two shirts. That 10 day turnaround time quickly turned into THIRTY before the shirt arrived. During communication with the company they even told me "Sorry for the delay, the shirt will ship tomorrow" and then "Sorry about that, miscommunication -- we meant next week!"

When the shirt finally arrived, it was snug. No big deal as after washing it twice it turned into a comfortable size -- however the stitching came loose and there were actual holes after wearing the shirt only several times. This resulted in me, of course, having to send the shirt back for a replacement... Another week and some change of more waiting. They were quick to send it out but the mail carrier is frustrating at best.

At the time of writing this review, I have finally washed the brand new replacement shirt and, less than 10 minutes ago, went to put the plates into the carrier only for the zipper to break off after its first zip. I will not be returning this shirt this time as this company has successfully exhausted my patience with them and can confidently say I've wasted $1300 on what I originally thought was a solid investment. If you're gonna buy some armor I'd highly suggest you look elsewhere. As nice as they make their clothing look, I've had nothing but a bad time with bulletproof everyone.

If anyone cares, I'm revising this review again to mention the free shirt they sent me. They told me it'd ship same day when I sent an email to them, as requested in this review's reply... Which then turned into a week when I had to email them AGAIN because they "dropped the ball" and forgot about me. This was supposed to be them making up for this entire bad experience and they didn't even bother to remember me.

My family has owned a liquor store in south central Los Angeles since the 70s. We have had 23 armed robberies. Bulletproof vests are standard wear at our store. Trust me when I say I know how heavy and hot body armor is when you are on your feet all day. Dallas the owner has come up with an armor design that weighs about half of the standard armor, and is flexible enough to allow the wearer to work and move while staying much cooler than with standard armor. The armor panels are much thinner and more flexible than anything else out there that I have seen. Service from the the staff Isaiah, Owen, and Dallas the owner was personalized, friendly, and totally focused on finding the right fit for us. Phone calls were answered quickly. Recommend making an appointment to try the fit. The panels change the fitting if you want it to be inconspicuous. Save yourself the shipping. I bought 5 units for different weather conditions. He was nice enough to extend the free backpack offer to us, since we had placed our order several weeks ago. A stand up guy. Fit and finish are excellent, innovative designs, comfortable, completely covert. Highest recommendation.

Got my Order yesterday for my granddaughter, awesome Bullet Proof Hoodie and Backpack, we are happy satisfied. Awesome customer service, too. A++++++

Just spoke with Dallas the owner who is honoring the backpack promo for my son. The Carhartt jacket I received fits perfectly. NOTE: I went to my cleaner/Taylor to get sized so I didn't mess up that part. The Jacket fits perfectly yes there us slight weight do to armor but it's so comfortable and weather resistant when I was rained on last weekend. Speaking with Dallas I will buy another when they have the carhartt with a hood. Everyone should own one just because you never know what any day will bring you in today's world. I know wearing it I'm protected and can shield anyone I'm protecting. Great product Dallas wish you all the best.5037
