I’m writing this as a former Dogue de Bordeaux breeder. Former English Bulldog who suffered unimaginable skin allergies. After an enormous battle and a lot of money concoctions were manageable. Always feed every dog I’ve owned a raw diet. Before getting my English Bulldog puppy three years ago I researched foods that I could afford and not have to do a raw diet with do to lack of time. I was very unimpressed with commercial dog foods even their raw food recipes. After reading the ingredients and pushing myself to trying Bullymax I took the leap of faith into the commercial market. He’s been on it since day one August of 2023 and he is doing great. No issues of any kind has no problems eating it. I don’t feed him anything else. His treats are freeze dried Beef liver I buy from another company. I also don’t vaccinate or fix my dogs. It’s my own personal choice and I’m not trying to make a statement I just feel for large Bully breeds it’s counter intuitive to skin issues as well as other health problems. But I do recommend Bully Max to friends to try. I think it’s worth the money than spending it at the vets office.

Complete scam. They will take your money, do nothing for 5 days, than “cancel” your order because they pretend like there was an issue (there wasn’t) and than refuse to issue a refund. DO NOT SHOP HERE, ALL THESE REVIEWS ARE BOTS. They literally will just steal your money

I started using Bullymax in 2009 for my French mastiff's and i can say, it a great product. Healthy coat,no bloating, and no hip issues. The puppies came out so Healthy and vibrant. If your looking for a 5 star dog food, BullyMax is the food.

By far the best product out there! My 2 Basset Hounds (10 year old and 10 week old puppy) thrive on Bully max. Their coats are shiny they have all the energy in the world and they love the food. They also love all the different flavors of the high protein power chews!!!

Love this brand for my 7 year old pitbull/mix. Plus, great customer service! I wish I found this company sooner. I’ve had my dog on Bully Max for a few years now and I’ve seen great improvement in my dog’s health. She had issues with UTIs and crystals in her bladder and was on expensive prescription food (which made her chunky). Since switching she has lost some weight and has had no urinary issues.
I was sad to see they discontinued the formula we use but they reached out to me and suggested an option that is comparable. Unfortunately, the option (lamb formula) has pork in it and she’s allergic to pork. I didn’t realize until I received my order. I reached back out and Joanna promptly sent me a label to return the food and at my request suggested another option. I’m waiting on the new order to arrive!
I highly recommend this company. My dog loves the food and their customer support is friendly, prompt and easy to communicate with.

I have been a loyal Bully Max customer for years, but my recent experience has been nothing short of devastating. After feeding my dog from a recent batch of Bully Max food, she became seriously ill and her condition worsened by the day.

When I reached out for help, customer support repeatedly promised escalation to management — but that never happened. Instead, I was left dealing with outsourced support staff who offered nothing but vague reassurances and delays. Despite providing vet notes and photos as requested, no manager or decision-maker ever contacted me directly.

This lack of accountability and urgency is unacceptable, especially when the health and well-being of pets are at stake. I am canceling my subscription and will be pursuing external channels to ensure this matter is addressed properly.

Pet owners deserve transparency, responsibility, and real support — not empty promises.

Your reply here is misleading. There were no “immediate” responses — in fact, I was left dealing with outsourced overseas representatives who all use fake names and never provided any real escalation. I submitted all the information you requested, including vet notes and a personal letter from my veterinarian since my dog has been hospitalized.

Despite this, I have never once heard back from management or a supervisor, even though escalation was promised multiple times. It’s neglectful that it takes a negative public review for Bully Max to acknowledge my case at all.

If Bully Max is serious about resolving this, you already have my contact information. I expect genuine outreach from management, not another scripted message.

I was very happy with my overall experience with Bully Max. The treats, supplements, feed topper all are exceptional. My 3 bullies and staffy loves them. Haven't used the main feed yet but very interested in switching and trying it out asap.
