Horrible service at 401 bus to Salthill today at 17.10 from Spanish Arch. The lady driver was impolite. I pressed the button upstairs to get off on the next bus stop, the button didn't work. She told me it is not her problem!! How can you drive this filthy and not working properly bus and dare to tell me it is not your problem?
The service is worse and worse. Outrageous!

Advertising says WiFi and electricity for charging. WiFi useless,slow and sockets not working. Very bad service

207 - trash company! Why noone from city council can do anything with it!!

Was taking the 120 to Edenderry on Sunday for a birthday celebration. Didn’t have my card but my boyfriend did. Asked if we can pay with the same card. No. Asked if I can use my card. No. Asked if we can double tap his card. No. Then asked for a refund for my boyfriend. No can’t do that. Asked if we can have the €4 cash at least. No can’t do that. Had to get off.

Was no need to be so proper and rude. Some decency would be nice, said he was an inspector. At the end of the day, it’s just a bus ride. Other drivers are way nicer. Especially because we had such a long way to go and had options to pay. Really ruined our moods and made us late.

The 100x bus service from Dundalk to Dublin/Dublin to Dundalk (including the airport) has no functioning air-conditioning and the heating system is stuck to turned on with full heat for at least 2 years.... When you mention it to the driver they just say there's nothing they can do.. Pretty dangerous when the bus is crowded over summer months and especially for elderly people ... Next time I travel I think I will take a room thermometer and report the actual temperature.

The bus is almost always late...for example today the 2.20pm airport bus did not arrive until 2.45pm... for other stops If you aren't able to continuously stand with your hand out it will whizz by you. For these reasons, it's best to book the bus for 2 hours in advance of the time you plan to arrive, and take plenty of water and a hand held fan.

On 2 occasions I've witnessed the driver being racist towards non nationals. On one particular occasion in Feb 2024, an Irish man jumped on and said he couldn't find his ticket ... The driver had no issue and let him get on saying no worries go ahead.... At the very next stop a non national asked for a ticket to the Louth county hospital stop and wanted to pay by card. The driver didn't even make eye contact , just very rudely said card machines broken, I can't give you a ticket, get the next bus. I was horrified , as was the customer. They asked if they could buy a ticket online as they had no cash and again the driver said no and asked them to get off the bus. The passenger explained they were attending an appointment and they would miss it, noticeably worried, stressed and upset. Despite this (and the fact that the card machine being down was nothing to do with the customer) the driver responded ' that's not my problem get off the bus now' extremely aggressively.

I had cash and paid for the passenger in the end but the treatment they received was disgusting and a direct l contrast to the experience of the previous (Irish) customer

Went out to get the 405 for work at 1.20, bus was up on the board scheduled to arrive for 1:30, the bus had been pushed forward over snd over and has now disappeared off the board leaving me waiting for another 20 minutes. I've been late for work countless times waiting for this bus. Sometimes I'll show up and hour early to wait and still the buses will manage to make me late. On one occasion the bus arrived 2 and a half hours late. This is a city bus. This is unacceptable.

For the past 2 days only single tickets are available.
I live in Balbriggan and work in Dublin, I usually always get the 7 days red zone of €31.80 a week, now I can't get neither 24h, neither even the return.
Do you realise how expensive that is?..
If that is a way to make more money for your company, that is just DISHONEST from you.

Everytime i get the Bay Estate bus in dundalk there’s an issue. It’s never on time and they always change it to Fatima even though a Fatima bus had just left. Today while waiting for the Bay Estate bus 3 Fatima buses left the station and there was still no sign of a Bay Estate bus. After waiting over an hour i actually just left. Worst service i’ve ever experienced with public transport and this is not the first time it’s happened it’s become so regular.

Every single time without fail Bus Éireann bus drivers are extremely rude and useless. Either not stopping at stops or deciding to avoid towns or saying that this time a bus stop us pick up only. Abusing their power they are sarcastic rude and will not let you on for absolutely no reason. Absolutely useless bus service that should be discontinued. Shameful and embarrassing that this is the bus company representing our country.

Came to a stop where a bus was sat expecting it to go at the time but no I found the bus driver alseep hiding in the bk seats all of a sudden he got up got in drivers seat acknowledged I was here after an hour and half waiting he pulls off and leaves bad driver

I would like to express my negative opinion about Bus Éireann school transport. For the past 5 days, I have been trying to call the headquarters, but after around 20 minutes of waiting, the call is always disconnected. My child has a school ticket, but we still don't know what time they will be picked up and from which exact location. I sent an email inquiry but have not received any response. In the current situation, I am forced to take time off work to personally drive my child to school. I am very disappointed with the lack of communication and professionalism.

Bus late, as usual. Avoid if at all possible.

I'm an epileptic and I had a seizure on the 237 bus from schull to cork. His name is Derry and was absolutely wonderful. He helped in every way he could and I am forever grateful. Take good care of this man with such a heart of gold. Thank you! (I'm not sure what day it was so I've put in a rough date)

D4 never comes on time and when i tried to get on it the driver refused to open the door and just drove away these workers should be fired all pf the other buses go up and down and are always on time but only d4 takes their time and sits in the bus on their phone very bad

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the behavior of one of your drivers, which I found highly inappropriate and deeply upsetting. This incident occurred on the 24th of August, 2024, at approximately 4:50 PM at the Trim Castle bus station.

As a tourist visiting Trim Heritage Castle, I had purchased a return bus ticket to Drogheda. While waiting at the station, I saw a bus approaching, displaying what I believed to be the number 190. Given my condition of astigmatism and double vision, electronic lighted boards are often blurred for me, making it difficult to clearly read the destination.

Upon boarding the bus, I politely asked the driver if it was heading to Drogheda. His response was not only dismissive but downright rude. He replied with a sharp, "What does it say in the front?"—clearly referring to the electronic board that I had just explained was difficult for me to read. This response felt belittling and dismissive, particularly given my medical condition.

I am extremely disappointed that your driver chose to respond in such an unprofessional manner. A simple and courteous reply could have easily clarified the situation, avoiding the distress it caused me. Instead, I was left feeling bullied and insulted. It's unacceptable that I was treated with such disdain for simply seeking assistance.

It has also come to my attention that there are two bus lines departing from the same station with the same number 190, one heading to Drogheda and the other to Athlone. This only adds to the confusion and further emphasizes the need for drivers to be understanding and patient when passengers seek clarification.

I urge Bus Éireann to take immediate action in addressing this matter. This driver’s behavior is not representative of the respect and professionalism that passengers should expect from your service. Such conduct not only tarnishes the reputation of your company but also discourages passengers from using your services in the future. I strongly recommend that this driver receive appropriate disciplinary action and customer service training to prevent similar incidents in the future.

I trust that Bus Éireann will treat this complaint with the seriousness it deserves and will take steps to ensure that all passengers, regardless of their conditions or circumstances, are treated with respect and dignity.

Had a bus booked from Cork to Waterford at 6pm, bus showed up 20 minutes late. Bus was full when it arrived so I was turned away even though I had this ticket booked well in advance. I was told to wait for the next service in an hours time

My friend and I were at Mahonpoint yesterday 21-08-24, my friend left her house key with me in my pocket by mistake. She and her daughter got on the bus , i had to drive to meet the bus and try stop it safely to give them the key otherwise they would have been locked out. The bus driver Niall was so nice , he stopped safely and let me on the pass them the key, we need more polite and friendly drivers like this, thank you. :-)

Nem no Brasil os ônibus são tão ruins, não sei porque existe, não tem respeito pelos clientes, sempre atrasado, isso quando passam. Não cumprem orário, não se importam com os trabalhadores que precisam do ônibus para chegar ao trabalho ou para voltar para casa depois de um longo dia. Pior empresa que já conheci em minha vida.

On the w1 bus in County waterford at 8.55pm on August 16th. I use this bus often daily and have met some lovely bus drivers and I'm not one for complaing or leaving reviews at all but the behaviour from this bus driver is disgusting and rude I have never met a more ignorant man in my life. He needs to remember that passengers are actually humans and not peices of dirt like this man treats them. Also drove the bus like an absolute lunatic. This man is an embarrassment to be calling staff. Bus eireann do better here...

Had issues with them before, but never complained. This time have enough. Was traveling from Fermoy to Dublin on 2th August. First Bus was late one hour and then driver ignored me and never stopped. Had to travel to Cork city, buy new ticket to continue my trip. Wasted 3h luckily my flight was next day, otherwise would miss the flight. Its common practice in Bus eirran to sell tickets and if bus gets full in first stop driver would not let you in the bus on the next bus stop. Wouldn't recommend and would avoid if alternative is possible.
