Excellent service and communication, beautifully built system at a good price

Bought a PC from these guys in the Black Friday / Cyber Monday sale - not used them before and reviews online suggested they were good so pulled the trigger on a nice new gaming PC. Unfortunately I had a few issues which means I cant give them 5*, but a strong 4*s instead. First one being that they got too many orders in at that period, so the PC build was going to be delayed. Fair play though, they told me immediately... well... the day after the purchase (was also compounded by staff sickness / shortages) and the PC arrived a couple of days after the original time which I was fine with. Then we had a slightly bigger problem... they'd put the wrong motherboard in it. One that didnt have Bluetooth or Wifi (but apparently a better one?!) so I had to run a long LAN cable out of it into the router in my front room. Not ideal - contacted them and they were extremely quick to reply and diagnose the "wrong motherboard" issue and offered that i buy a NIC locally or they would send me one. I picked the latter as I have an extremely busy job at the moment and cannot get to the shops as much as id like. I had to chase them as to when the NIC was coming in the post as it hadnt arrived when they said it would - again still down to delays from Black Friday / Cyber Monday apparently. So we got there in the end, and their comms are really good - BUT - if it had been right in the first place then I wouldnt have had to get in touch a number of times to fix the problems I encountered. I would use them again, but maybe not on that weekend :-)

I'd been looking for a while for a decent price on a 5080 gaming pc with an x870 motherboard and a Ryzen 7 9800x3d. Finally found one on cacti pc's that looked great value and high spec. It was a next day pc so came the following day...was the wrong pc case and a cheap B650 motherboard. I called and spoke to James who I showed the spec to online and explained that's not what I got. James apologised and said the spec wasn't correct on the website but offered to build the spec as was listed on the website and send it by the weekend which was great. Sent it back with DPD (nightmare) took DPD a week to collect it as the drivers phone wouldn't scan the label so they just kept leaving it, I had to chase this myself and physically be there when they scanned it from my phone instead (I called cacti twice to see if they knew why it hadn't been picked up they just said it will get picked up eventually, good job I chased it or it wouldn't) pc arrives back with them I ask if they knew when the replacement would be sent, was told we're very busy we will get it to you as soon as possible. A week goes by, no news so I call and speak to James again who goes through the spec again and says I'll get it by the weekend. Was delivered on the Saturday. Again can straight away see the motherboard isn't the promised MSI Tomahawk x870 WiFi 7 it's an Asus prime x870p (no WiFi) cheaper not as good motherboard in general, power supply isn't the Corsair rm1200 x shift it's a montech century 2, RAM isn't the 6400mhz it was supposed to be it's 6000mhz, finally the extra SSD I purchased the team 4tb mp44 but it's acer SSD FA200 4tb. I messaged in the chat about the components, was told the motherboard is the same chip set but without WiFi so they will send a WiFi adapter free of charge (it's arrived and only a WiFi 6) the power supply is similar and stable in system, the ram they could change if I send it back and they will send replacement once they get it back but what I have is CL30 and they will only send CL36 (higher latency). The extra SSD I've only just discovered is different so haven't mentioned that yet. I feel like I'm just going to have to lump it as I don't want to send it back again as it was so much hassle and I don't want to get into sending parts back and forth anymore. The pc runs well so far don't get me wrong, and it was good of cacti pc's to build it with the website mistake it's just not what it was supposed to be or that was promised. Communication hasn't been great either, I know they are busy but I had to chase everything as i wasnt getting any updates of what was happening. Just felt the experience hasn't been great for something I've been looking forward to buying for ages. This review isn't a negative on the pc's they build as I said the pc is great quality, really nice looking, well put together, seems to run well etc just not the best experience for me

After doing many hours of research and comparisons, a friend of mine sent over a PC build on Cacti PC’s.

At first glance, the build was great, the delivery time was almost too good to be true (order today, get it tomorrow) and the price was amazing.

I couldn’t miss out on this deal, so bought the PC.

Less than 24 hours later, and it arrived. The protective packaging was amazing. Although it took me a long time to unpack, the protection given to my package was very good. There was so risk at all of any damage.

After unboxing, I set it up and turned it on, only to see that I wasn’t getting any picture signal. I messaged the team on WhatsApp and within minutes, received a call from the Owner who guided me on some troubleshooting. I was assured that if this didn’t work, they’d send out another one and take mine in. After completing the troubleshooting, everything worked!

I highly recommend CACTi PC’s, not just for their excellent pricing, but their customer service is unrivalled. Next day delivery is also so good for a product of this nature.

I highly recommend CACTi PCs, especially for their excellent pre-sales support and the value of the system I purchased.

The entire process with Alfie was exceptional. I had many questions and a specific situation (upgrading and giving my old PC to my daughter), and Alfie was patient, knowledgeable, and incredibly responsive, even answering detailed questions on a Sunday. This level of personal, helpful customer service is what really sets them apart.

The part-exchange option was a big bonus, and while the valuation of £97 for my old items wasn't huge, it was a fair price for the convenience of trading in old and very old equipment (including an all-in-one PC and two old laptops) toward my new system. The process for sorting the trade-in was clearly explained.

I ended up purchasing the Gaming PC RTX 5060TI Ryzen 5 5500 1tb NVMe SSD which is running brilliantly and is a fantastic system for the price.

On the positive side, I was extremely impressed by the speed of delivery—especially considering I ordered over the Black Friday weekend! The team also used phone calls to communicate necessary case changes, which was excellent and helped make the order arrive sooner.

My only point of constructive feedback is concerning the software: the PC was meant to have Windows 11 pre-installed, but receiving the activation code took about a week. This process should ideally be instantaneous or at least much quicker, as it was frustrating waiting that long for a code that should have already been tied to the system.

Overall, the support, the system quality, and the value for money are excellent. The minor administrative issue with the code was the only frustration, and the personal service from Alfie and the team was a big factor in my decision.

The PC was very competitively priced, delivered promptly and mostly as expected. Overall, I'm very happy with it. However, the PC was in a different case than advertised. It was for my daughter and asthetics will matter to her. I was happy enough with the case provided, but did consider returning it. Some communication that the product wouldn't be exactly as described would have been welcome. All the internal components were as good as I expected or better. Overall, I would recommend Cacti PCs.

Brilliant pc and rapid communication about the delivery been delayed by a day due to dpd not picking the order up. Emails was responded to within five minutes even at half 9 at night!!

Fantastic PC. After looking online and comparing prices, several search engines even suggested this might be a pricing error due to how good the value was.

The only downside was delivery. I purchased over the Black Friday weekend, and it clearly stated delivery for the following Friday. Unfortunately, I received an email the next morning saying they were too busy to meet that timeframe. Had I known in advance, I probably would have chosen to collect instead.

That said, it only arrived a few days late and was absolutely worth the wait. Very happy with the purchase overall.

These guys are AMAZING! Received my Ryzen 7 9800x3d with an upgraded motherboard and 64GB 6400mhz CL30 ram compared to 6000mhz as advertised in the spec that I bought. Couldn't be happier. Not often you get more for your money than advertised!

I had never heard of CactiPc before my recent upgrade. I wanted to upgrade my CPU mainly, but I do not have the patience or capacity to do it myself so I decided to fully upgrade my old PC which was just over a year old to one with components that would do me for years to come. CactiPc gave me a good quote for my old PC as part exchange, this is the only place I know that does this other than a newer company I found. The newer place that I shall not name offered me more, but after lots of digging, I decided to go with Cacti as the other place was so new, with little reviews and my suspicious mind made me steer clear.

I decided I wanted a prebuilt with RTX5080 and Ryzen 7 9800x3d as the prebuilt systems came out cheaper than when I tried to use the custom build with the same parts, plus I could not find a case I really liked. During my time browsing over a few weeks the website was updated and for the better, I noticed there was a lot of mismatches on images and specs where images did not match the specs. One of the PC’s I was going to order, the case image did not match the listed spec and in the listed spec was a RTX5090 but the system description was 5080. They did update the GPU in the specs after I pointed this out but did not update the case and I did ask them to confirm this but it was never confirmed.

I ended up going with a slightly dearer system as I did not get an answer, not a problem as I had a few options I was looking at within my budget. I let them know that I had ordered and asked for confirmation on sending my old PC in, we arranged to send this in once I received the new PC in the packaging it was received in. The new PC arrived on the Friday after ordering Wednesday evening. It was well packaged but there was no Power cable for the PSU, I dropped a WhatsApp and they apologised and shipped one straight away on next day delivery. The case was also different from pictured, but again a case I liked. The CPU, GPU where all correct other than it being an MSI rather than a Palit, not complaining as MSI are better imo. The AIO and motherboard was also different from listed, but again better than the listed spec so not complaining. When I eventually got the PC up and running after getting the power cable I noticed the AIO rgb was not working but the fans did work. I contacted them and sent some pictures of the connections which I could see that some where not connected and after being advised to play about and see it the rgb kicks in they did work, the connection was very loose and would not stay in after even the slightest movement, I had to use electrical tap to secure it, so it is no wonder they came loose in transit. Overall all I am happy with my PC and with CactiPC and would use them again.

However my only negatives I would point out would be the website and specs really need to be true and reflective of what is actually being sold, I don’t know if this is to do with the website rework that happened which I may add is much easier and nicer to navigate as I found the old site jarring and annoying to navigate.

Communication pre purchase could be a bit flakey as well, while i totally appreciate how busy they have been due to the time of year, Black Friday and Christmas period and the fact I can be really intense due to my ADHD and especially as I was hyper focusing on a new PC and needing answers before I part with money. It felt like there was no one dedicated to purely communications, when I called although no one was rude I could feel the sense they was overwhelmed and being told they are very busy made me feel like a nuisance, but again being neurodivergent I am very sensitive to these comments and felt like I was being too much. Sometimes WhatsApp replies could be slow and emails would be responded to late in the evening which makes me feel like they need a dedicated customer relations and sales team to make this more efficient and less stressful for the consumers.

That being said once the purchase had been made communication improved significantly and responses a lot faster. Which was very appreciated.

I am still waiting for my part exchange to complete but being they are so busy I am waiting patiently. Overall CactiPc is a great up and coming company who offer superior support post purchase eg 3 year warranty and lifetime support. As they continue to grow and build the team up to cope with the influx of new customers they will be a force to be reckoned with offering competitive pricing, excellent customer service and support and I wouldn’t hesitate to continue to use them in the future. I am looking forward to seeing them grow, succeed and improve their company to better deal with busy periods. Keep up the good work, you’re doing fantastic things for the community.

Initially, I wasn't sure what to expect since I'd never heard of CactiPCS before, but they turned out to be fantastic. They were incredibly helpful and dispatched my pre-built same day. I part-exchanged my old system after purchasing the new one, and they issued a credit within a couple of days of receiving it. Fantastic service.

This was the first time ordering from Cacti PCs... And although had a few slight hiccups, they responded quickly and sent replacement parts. All works great and I couldn't recommend them enough! Anyone considering ordering a PC this is definitely the place! 5*
