We entered into an agreement with Cameramatics in good faith expecting a professionally managed fleet solution. Unfortunately, the system was never properly installed or made operational despite repeated attempts over a prolonged period to resolve the issues directly with the company.
Throughout this time, charges continued to be taken by both Cameramatics and Siemens Finance for a service which, from our perspective, was never fully delivered. More recently, an additional “insurance” / “asset protection” charge has also appeared on the finance invoices at almost the same value as the system charge itself, despite this never being properly explained, justified, or agreed during the sales process.
Concerns were raised multiple times, yet meaningful resolution and accountability were lacking.
The most frustrating part has not simply been the implementation failures, but the apparent unwillingness to take ownership of the problem and resolve it commercially and reasonably when given multiple opportunities to do so.
At this stage, confidence in the service and support offering has been lost entirely. Had we not been tied into the associated finance agreement, we would have cancelled the service some time ago.
I would strongly encourage any business considering Cameramatics to ensure they fully understand both the implementation process and the finance arrangements before proceeding.
