Cancerguard is poorly managed
My doctor asked if I would like to have a Cancerguard test, informing me it would cost about $700. I agreed and he prescribed Cancerguard. Several weeks later they sent a box with the test kit, informing me not to open it, to my home in the mail. Then they asked for me to schedule a date and time. I scheduled 2 weeks in advance for 5/28 at 12 noon. At 11:35 am on that date I received an email that they did not have a phlebotomist on that day and asked me to call to reschedule. Much to my dismay, they informed me they did not service my area and I would have to drive 3 hours to get my blood test at their lab. I have a hospital 5 minutes from my home and asked if I could have the blood test there and yes, I could but I would have to pay for it. They knew my address for several months. This company is simply poor management.
