Capra Finance is a UK equipment finance broker. We arrange finance for businesses buying equipment, machinery and vehicles, and we work with the suppliers and dealers who sell to them so that spreading the cost is part of the sale rather than something the customer is sent away to sort out on their own. Most of what we do sits in one moment. A business wants a machine, a van or a piece of equipment, the price lands, and the money is not sitting in the current account. That is where a lot of sensible purchases quietly stop. Equipment finance exists to keep that conversation alive, by turning a single large capital outlay into a monthly cost the business can measure against what the equipment will earn or save it. We arrange hire purchase, finance lease and operating lease across equipment and vehicles, along with asset refinance where a business wants to release capital tied up in equipment it already owns outright, and business loans where a straightforward asset agreement is not the right structure. Hire purchase suits businesses that want to own the asset at the end of the term. Finance lease and operating lease suit businesses that want lower monthly payments, planned equipment refresh, or to keep the capital working elsewhere. Which of those is appropriate depends entirely on the business, the asset and the agreement. Our sector focus reflects where our directors have spent their careers. Construction and plant. Excavators, diggers, telehandlers, dumpers, site equipment and tools, new and used, for groundworks contractors, plant hire businesses and civil engineering firms. Commercial vehicles. Vans, tippers, Lutons, HGVs and trucks, vehicle conversions and fleet purchases, including used commercial vehicle finance and refinance for businesses that bought outright and now want the capital back. Catering and coffee. Commercial kitchen equipment, restaurant fit outs, ovens, refrigeration, commercial espresso machines, grinders and roasters for cafés, coffee shops, hotels and food service operators. Security. CCTV systems, access control, alarms, monitoring hardware and full site installations for installers and their commercial customers. Print and embroidery. Wide format printers, DTG, heat presses, multi head embroidery machines and finishing equipment for garment decorators and print businesses. Manufacturing, agriculture and wellbeing. CNC and fabrication equipment, farm machinery and infrastructure, and gym, spa and therapy equipment. We work in two directions. With equipment suppliers, dealers and vendors, we build a finance route into their sales process, so their sales teams have an answer at the point a customer hesitates on price rather than a fortnight later. With businesses buying directly, we handle the finance side properly: understanding the purchase, packaging the application, and staying with it through to the equipment being delivered and the supplier being paid. Our customers are typically UK SMEs, often with five to fifty staff, investing in the equipment that lets them take on more work. Many of them use finance not because they cannot afford the purchase, but because they would rather keep their cash and their existing bank facilities available for stock, wages, premises and the next opportunity. Capra Finance Ltd was incorporated in England and Wales in September 2026 and is run by two directors with backgrounds in UK asset and equipment finance. It exists because of something both of us watched happen repeatedly: suppliers losing orders they should have won, and business owners buying less equipment than they actually needed, because nobody put a second option on the table at the right moment. Whether finance is appropriate, and on what terms, depends on the business, the asset and the agreement. All applications are subject to credit approval. Capra Finance Ltd is registered in England and Wales, company number 17443060. Registered office: 8 Randall Lane, Bishops Stortford, CM23 1ET.
