Care by Carla® is a U.K. Private Limited Company created by women for women. We help women (and men), looking to travel to Turkey for a medical procedure, navigate the Medical Tourism sector and find quality care. We are especially sensitive to issues which women encounter on their medical journey overseas. We use a panel of medical experts to helps us find the best medical professionals in Turkey and offer them to our customers. This means that we only work with the best medical practitioners and medical institutions in Turkey. We also help you organise your trip from A to Z since we are licensed by ATOL and we are a member of the Association of British Travel Agents (ABTA). With us you can rest assured that your information is safe. We are a member of Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) and we comply with GDPR. What Makes Us Different is the guarantees we offer for your treatment in Turkey: we do not require a deposit in order to book your procedure; we include Medical Travel Insurance in our packages for you and your travel companion (this coverage includes travel insurance and revision surgery insurance); we make it possible for you to pay for your procedure in the U.K. so you don’t need to carry cash with you internationally (your payment in the U.K. is protected by your national banking laws); we legally represent you in Turkey in case of personal injury or medical malpractice; we pay for a corrective procedure if the result of the first procedure is not satisfactory; we add a layer a layer of protection because we are a U.K. Private Limited company which is insured for General Liability in the U.K.

Avoid this agency!

By trusting this agency and the Docter they work with,I now need reconstructed surgery!
I booked a surgery in Turkey,Izmir area with them in 2023, because I liked the idea of paying by credit card. I was told that if I pay by credit card and if anything goes wrong I can claim my money back. What I didn't know is that you can only claim if you pay the clinic/hospital directly if you are not happy with the surgery.
On the website they claim to fly you back if the surgery was not successful and have a revision and they will pay for everything.
I've been trying to get hold of them,but they seem to have disappeared.After I had my surgery I could see right away that something was wrong. I was told by the doctor and the team at carebycarla that with time everything will look normal.After 3 months I decided to seek a second opinion and my worries were confirmed. I told the correspondent in Turkey that I was right all along and that I will think about what I want to do and come back to them. They never responded to my messages.

I hope no-one else gets tricked by this agency. I now need reconstructed surgery because I believed in them and the Doctor they worked with.

Totally useless

Totally useless. I booked my surgery through their coordinator Pam and she told me she would be in contact nearer the time. She seemed great at the beginning and I really felt confident in my initial choice. I then contact her as my surgery dates were fast approaching and I hadn’t heard anything. I never received a reply. I then called the number but couldn’t get through. After a few weeks of trying to get hold of anyone from the company I still hadn’t been successful in tracking anyone down! They just ignored my messages etc…so in a panic I managed to speak to the hospital direct. They confirmed although they had other people booked in with Care by Carla (so they clearly were still booking people in) they had no record of me. Also the information she gave me was wrong and they couldn’t preform the op that she had recommended. Luckily I managed to speak to a coordinator directly linked to the hospital and he has been amazing. Completely no contact from her still and no explanation. I had since booked directly myself. Avoid!!! Made a very stressful time even more stressful.
