I never have a problem with customer services I give them 100% very very friendly and the service department as well I have had a few problems with my cars but again 100% specially the manager very helpful and they solve the problem

Just collected my partners car from Carlingo after test driving last weekend. A very warm welcome awaited us on both occasions, particularly so today when we brought our little dog. Adam who arranged the test drive and purchase and Joey who handled the hand over today were as friendly as they were professional. They both made us feel as though nothing was too much trouble and made the process both relaxed and hassle free. Very impressive customer service. Well done 👏
A very strange experience. Staff openly lied to us
A very strange experience. Unsure if they are totally dishonest or just incompetent. My 88yr old mother purchased a car from them. We took her car to the showroom (1hr drive) so it could be valued as a p-ex. A salesman took 45 minutes to inspect the car, inside and out. He and I discussed a couple of faults, a price was agreed, they gave us an invoice and my mother paid the deposit. We returned home. I had several phone conversations with them and agreed a collection date. We drove back to collect the car (1hr) and were greeted by a different sales person, who told us my mum's car would need inspecting (the salesman we previously spoke to was busy chatting to other staff). I explained this had already been done. She checked her computer and confirmed the deal that had been agreed (£7700 p-ex for my mum's car). She then disappeared to speak to "management". When she returned she informed my mum they would only give her £6600. She was shocked, as the deal had been agreed and documented (and her car was valued at between £10-£13,000 on Carwow). She was basically told to "take it or leave it". I called over the salesman that we had previously dealt with and he said he'd never seen my mum's car. When I reminded him about the long conversation we had had a few days earlier, he looked embarrassed but still insisted he hadn't seen the car (he absolutely, definitely, 100% had). My mum refused to take the reduced offer and we had to drive home again (1hr). She was pretty upset, which is not helpful at 88 yrs old. It was all pretty strange. We were left wondering if the salesman had Alzheimers (unlikely since he's around 35) or if they just assume old people like my mum can be bullied into accepting a lower price for their car than was agreed. I took time off work to deal with this and we spent over 4 hours driving there/back. My mum is waiting for her deposit to be returned.

Travis in the after sales department has handled two warranty claims for us with amazing speed and efficiency.
Carlingo appear to set high standards for customer care and we highly recommend them.

When we came to see the car, we were served very nicely and everything met our expectations. A week later, when we came to pick up the car, all the paperwork was prepared and the process went smoothly. However, the car was not prepared as we expected — it was dirty and looked like someone had smeared the bodywork.

Stress free experience
I recently bought a car from Carlingo with the whole experience quite refreshing - the advisor, Jimmy Nash, who looked after my wife and I was brilliant. He let us browse at our own pace with no pressure whatsoever and then when we were ready to test drive, took us out in our vehicle of choice. Great guy and an all round stress free experience - will certainly have no hesitation in recommending the company and Jimmy to my friends and family.

This would have been a 5 star review…
This would have been a 5 star review until my car I bought last year needed it's annual service.The car needed a 5year/50000 mile service which is oil and filter and check/inspect everything else.Carlingo had stamped the service book at 4years/40000 miles whitch is a major service that includes air and pollen filters,spark plugs and brake fluid replacement,the latter being a safety issue as brake fluid absorbs moisture over time making your brakes less efficient,however they only did the oil and filter ! this ment that had the garage I took my car to not looked at the condition of the air filter which was very dirty and then went further and removed the pollen filter (it was falling appart) I told them to replace them along with the spark plugs and brake fluid (all a year late) otherwise had I waited till next year when it was due its next major service these items would have been 4 years old (it had a major service at 2years,I have a copy of the invoice from the dealer)

The process from initial test drive to sale completion was handled professionally, including the handling of a part exchange vehicle and all the transfer requirements with DVLA. Even the after sales team were able to quickly resolve a missing key from one of the fobs. Great vehicle. Great service.

Not a bad way to buy a car
Reasonable price. Very friendly, helpful staff, both when I first looked at the car and then subsequently collected it.
However, the amount of paperwork involved, (plus a 7 minute recording to listen to ) was ridiculous. We spent more time dealing with forms and sorting paperwork than discussing the car!

We have bought from Carlingo twice now…
We have bought from Carlingo twice now in the last two years - our last experience was this last week when we bought a VW UP and exchanged a car we had not had for very long.(a bad buy ). Josh at Carlingo was very helpful in helping me with that. I was helped by Sam when I took the car out for a trail run which went well. When we came back to the garage for the hand over it was handled by Joey and he was very pleasant. All in all we are very pleased with the service from Carlingo. I would recommend Carlingo anytime especially as the garage is expanding at the moment and it’s a pleasant place to be with friendly staff.
