Went into the Croydon store today to look at some carpets as I am currently renovating. When I arrived at the store all the staff were standing around chatting. About 5 minutes or so had passed after this and I had not been approached by a single person. It is clear to me that they know what their priorities are and my trip to the store today proved to me that they would rather stand around and chat with one another than approach a customer. No personality and no life within the store. A young lad was sitting there on his phone after seeing me enter and a lady with glasses was being rude to another customer. I am glad I was not approached by her. The other so called members of staff did not make any sort of attempt to approach me. I most definitely will not be returning to this store.

John at the charlton branch delivers old school levels of personalised customer service and knows everything there is to know about carpets. A joy to deal with and a painless process from start to finish.

We recently purchased a new LVT herringbone flooring for our hallway and lounge and a new staircase and landing carpet from Carpet Giant, and the experience was fantastic from start to finish. The staff were incredibly knowledgeable and helped us choose a carpet and underlay that matched my needs perfectly—both in terms of durability and aesthetic.

The pricing was competitive, and the quality of the products speaks for itself. The installation team Warren and his Son couldnt have done more for us, they were detailed, puncutal and always kept us informed of what was next. We could not have wished for better - credit goes to those two!

What stood out most was their excellent customer service. They kept me informed throughout the process, and any questions I had were answered promptly. Our new hallway, lounge herringbone flooring looks modern and clean, the new carpet looks and feels amazing, and I can already tell it’s going to last for years to come.

I highly recommend Carpet Giant to anyone in need of quality flooring and reliable service. A solid 5/5!

We went to Carpet Giant at Parkwood Maidstone and Andy Frazer the salesperson showed us round the different carpets and shared his experience.

We bought a carpet the following day and was fitted a week later which I thought was great service.

Luke the carpet fitter who was very efficient and fitted the carpet really well.

My family and I have been shopping here for years and today and lovely lady called Pat helped me. She was very patient with me and gave me excellent advice. Luke also has been a long standing employee that always takes care of us when we come to the shop.

John was extremely helpful and provided great advice. He also gave us a good deal. Very knowledgeable staff and we would recommend for professional and friendly service.

Thanks to the excellent work and attention to detail we received from Steve at the Maidstone branch when he laid the moduleo flooring in our hallway recently it looks fabulous. We would highly recommend your company thank you

We bought some carpet recently from Tom at the Ashford store who couldnt have been nicer and because of his fabulous customer service we came back to make another purchase. We went in there yesterday, was about to leave ....until another very helpful man Doug said he could order more of the same remnant. We were delighted because it meant both bedrooms would match, so we gave him a deposit. But, when we got home he phoned to say he had made a large error and apologised and IT WOULD NOW COST £100 MORE IF WE STILL WANTED IT. He was sitting next to the store manager (Rob?) at the time, so I dont understand why he didn't step in and correct him, instead they waited until we got back home and we dont live in Ashford. So today we had to drive all the way back over there for a refund. Doug wasn't there, but the manager was. I asked why he didnt correct him at the time. He said he didnt get involved with someone elses sale. But....he didn't mind getting involved yesterday, shouting out " WE'LL KICK YOU OUT THE STORE", when all I asked was if there's any discount for paying the full money instead of a deposit there and then. I found that comment insulting (but didnt like to say anything at the time) as we had never met him before and especially for a manager to say that to a lady isnt nice and its unprofessional too. You have LET US DOWN BIG TIME, costing us stress, time and money. I am so shocked that a manager can behave like that but also, if you have made an error, as a manager who was there at the time you should honour it or at least do something to put it right if you actually give a damn about your customers?

I purchased carpet and lino removal and replacement for a house. The contractors sent by carpet giant left the premises with supplies I provided (glue, grippers but even all the snacks I left them), pressurised me into paying them then and there but promised to come back in two days to rectify the snags.

Two days later and they are not here, they are not picking up the phone and when I called from another number told me they won't come as I already paid them.

I called carpet giant and was told by a director they would sue me for leaving a review or contacting my credit card provider and that their disclaimers do not cover doors catching the carpet, contractors failing to come as agreed and nicking my items. I presume the disclaimers also cover leaving debris all over the new carpet for me to clean up.

I've known about Carpet Giant for many years. I took my mum for the first time and she was able to find exactly what she wanted with the wonderful and honest help of Mr JOHN
There excellent customer service, affordable prices, fast delivery is more than I could ask for. Mum left with the biggest smile on her face.

Carpet Giant at Charlton are amazing, great selection, very good prices and excellent staff. I used them for the first time earlier this year and returned 3 times for other rooms. Different fitters each time but same friendly professional service. Don’t be frightened to try them

Visited the Orpington Store and received great service. Rob was very helpful in offering good advice and, once we had selected the carpet we liked, going out of his way to locate stock of the 5m width needed so that we could benefit from the special offer price. Very good value, including the perfect underlay for the job which was not overpriced. Fitters did a good job and we've now recommended Carpet Giaint to our neighbours.

We attended the Croydon store recently and came across Matthew who helped us in giving his honest view and opinion over a carpet we had been thinking about. For us he tilt the balance between general service and exceptional customer care. We felt drawn as he is relatable, honest, down to earth and keeps his word. We could have sourced the same carpet elsewhere but he sold it to us. A capable young man with great potential and a credit to carpet giant!

We thought that John who helped with our order was very polite, helpful and informative on the products that we needed

I popped into Carpet Giant in Sittingbourne on the off chance as I was looking for a couple of fairly small pieces of carpet. Despite my low spend, Jeremy was happy to help me find exactly what I was looking for. I felt valued as a customer and I happily left there with everything I needed.

Really good local store, Hayden served me on Saturday and was first class, got everything I needed and a bit of advice on what accesories I might have needed.

We visited the Croydon branch today and found the warehouse to be clean and well laid out, the staff were helpful and knowledgeable and it seemed like nothing was too much trouble as we were asking lots of questions. After considering my options I am very happy with the flooring I have chosen and cannot wait to see it installed. Cannot recommend these guys highly enough.
