Easy to order and my tin whistle arrived 1 week early in Uk with several updates to keep me informed.

I ordered a cd on the 2nd of July and still have not received any cd!! I have got a confirmation email when I ordered this is nearly a month ago now I am very u happy with this service and will not be ordering again!!

Having ordered 2CD’s in recent times (a first time customer) I was confident in ordering my 3rd one 2wks ago. It has not arrived & CD World are not responding to my enquiries. I find this most annoying & unprofessional on their behalf. My business may be ‘small time’ to them but is not so for me.

Today, July 14th, my order has arrived! My thanks to CD World. Will be taking time to consider using this site again though.

I wanted to get a dvd repaired and their website charged me 10 euro. I got a confirmation email with my invoice number saying that they would ship my item to me as soon as possible. However, I am not waiting on a product rather I need instructions as to where to send the damaged dvd. I have repeatedly emailed them and got NO answers what so ever. I just want my money back. I am thoroughly disappointed and ask others to beware before dealing with this company. I am phoning my bank tomorrow.

I ordered 3 cd’s I could not get in usual go-to. Placed order on Sunday 22nd and received today (24th). Thank you & I'm glad I did not read the reviews beforehand

I ordered a vinyl from cdworld on the 8th December. Payment was taken and an email confirming my order. However, I still have not received my item or an replies to my emails asking for confirmation of a shipping date. No phone number available either. I would definitely not recommend this website.

Since writing this review my order arrived and my emails were eventually replied to, however, I would be rather hesitant to purchase again

Do not buy from this company if you ever want your products.... They operate with generic email and mobile number and do not respond to emails.

This company needs to be shut down

Ordered a CD 1.5 weeks ago and never received the item. Emailed them on two separate occasions. No responses… Regretfully I’ve had to file a dispute claim with PayPal for a refund. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. CUSTOMER SERVICE NON-EXISTENT

Used to be a satisfied for several years but since a few months, service has fallen off a cliff: fully paid orders are not shipped and customer service can't be bothered to provide any response or update during 3 - 4 months.

Just reading the reviews...Ordered and paid for a cd more than a week ago, no answer to my emails, no sign of the cd...now am going to go through PayPal and see what happens...feckers...

Such a great site , I bought a cd and 3 days later it came no issues , also came with a note with a hand written thank you !

I ordered a cd a month ago. Payment taken the day I ordered but I never received the item or heard from the company. I emailed and sent many messages via Facebook but heard nothing back. They took my money but never delivered my order. Stay well away from them.

Ordered 2 vinyls that were "in stock" on the website and paid in full using PayPal!
3 weeks later and there was no delivery, no delivery information, and no response to either of my emails asking for an update.
It was only when opening a dispute through PayPal that I got a response. The response was an automated message saying my order was cancelled!

Terrible customer service, terrible website. Do not use!!

Tried buying a limited item that was sadly sold out. Mick was very on top of communication on this, giving me updates as he had them. Getting a refund when the publisher was silent was easy too, can't fault that service.

I ordered some cds on the 2\1\22.Just got them today 28\01\22.I had given up on getting them, but I had not taken in to account delays caused by the pandemic.We have become so accustomed to having everything so fast,that we are spoiled.I received a hand written note explaining and apologising from Mick and I am very happy with this and would recommend CDWorld

I echo what the poster on 24th Nov wrote - I can't understand the other reviews. I too had a brilliant experience. I ordered an 'obscure' CD that I wanted for someone who is isolated and loves his music. I found it on CD World and if I hadn't read the good reviews I would not have ordered. So, I ordered on Friday December 17th and it arrived today (21st) and I got an email confirming the item was dispatched in the meantime. It was very good value too and I even got a personalised thank you note in with the CD.

I would definitely buy again from this site and I am delighted with the CD I ordered!

I only have my own single ordering experience to go by but based on that I can't understand the other terrible reviews. Brace yourself for wordy review...

I stumbled across this website after googling a pretty hard to find LP and seeing they had it. All seemed a little too good to be true, given I had never heard of this site before and it was reasonably priced but I figured I'd take the chance and place the order and worst case would claim the money back via credit card chargeback if it was bogus. Yes, I had that immediate concern. Then when I googled the site I found these reviews and I immediately assumed it was a scam site and regretted my decision!

I emailed the retailer right away (the cdworldireland123 at gmail.com email address itself didn't inspire much confidence!) late in the evening and got an immediate response. That in itself was a relief, given others said they never heard anything back despite trying. So I was at least assured there was someone behind it.

Skip ahead a few steps and I received my order this morning and am now a happy customer. Granted, it took a while to be delivered but the retailer himself (Mick - real person!) had told me over the course of our email correspondence that the item was coming from the UK, could be delayed by Brexit customs, etc. but given it's a pretty obscure LP I was prepared to wait. He also offered me the option of a refund at every point too, so there wasn't really much more that could be done for me.

So, long story short - I've no idea what happened with the other reviewers here but the this is my own personal experience from my own single order. I'm just relieved it's not a scam site and that I got the LP I was searching all over for :-) I gave 4 out of 5 stars given the delay, but to be honest that seems harsh given it wasn't the retail's fault unless they held all stock themselves.

Anyway, there you have it - not a scam site and I'm a happy customer.

I would recommend that you NEVER buy from this website. Items paid by PayPal. Order never received.
Customer service disaster ! No answers at all. Don't buy from them !
