All went well with the follow up and collecting the sample and processing it, however during our initial discussion we were told there will be no interaction between the mom and the phlebotomist and we were surprised that after birth he needed to collect blood from the mother and access the delivery room which we were not been made aware off and it came as a surprise as this was not discuss with us previously.

The company issued collection kit very quickly after signing initial agreement. Customer service was good. I received a lot of information explaining types of treatments stem cells could be used for. The collection of the sample was efficient. Phlebotomist arrived to the hospital at short notice and on time. The samples were collected on the day and picked up by the courier couple of hours after. The quality of the blood sample was good which made it viable for storage, so we managed to achieve the result we wanted. The package was not cheap but the quality of the service was excellent so we think that these costs are justified.

Excellent customer service. Very fast response time. You’re never stuck in a queue on the phone.
The whole process was well explained and the phlebotomist on the day was professional and very supportive. We have peace of mind that our cells are stored safely should we need them.

Absolutely shocking service.
We agreed and booked in a VIP service for the twins.
We had the twins last week, we received yesterday a email from them they received and stored a cord blood and cord tissue. We signed up for something else.
They didn't send the right phlebotomist.
This was the life chance for us and we missed it.

This is the second time I have used cells for life. The first time was excellent (this was 3 years ago) how recently when I used them it was not as easy and positive. I had my phlebotomist be uncontactable, they had not contacted me since the initial intro (which itself was very brief) I then had to call up and Explain the situation. To them be told that my phlebotomist had moved away and I would be with assigned a new Phlebotomist. I was constantly having to call up to chase actions that I was promised

Good experience. Collected the cord blood at time and received the final certificate with in a 3 weeks.

Me and my husband signed up a while back now to find out more information about the service for our expectant baby which is a very sensitive time for us both and we both stupidly gave out our private numbers to this SCAMMING COLD CALLING COMPANY. We have both been receiving very frequent, irritating and constant calls from them with a person constantly haranguing us, they really don't know when to stop annoying expectant mothers! I asked one of them to remove my number but I am still receiving multiple calls a week me being on TPS makes this illegal. BEWARE! Also to add onto this the prices are ridiculous in there thousands also you are unable to cancel the 25 year contract with large yearly fee's. Not worth the hassle just a money making scheme for vulnerable expectant mothers...

I have read many comments before choosing Cells4Life and some people rated them very poorly. In our case, we are very happy with the service. I am aware every experience is different so I will tell ours.

We contacted the company very late (2 days before due date) and the sales rep Verity was very quick answering our questions and offered us a better price than the website. She got everything arranged in 2 days (we did not have time to wait for the collection kit so it came with the phlebotomist).

I have read some comments about hidden charges or long term commitments. In our case, at no point she tried to persuade me to buy extra services or commit to a 25 years contract. She simply gave the prices in case we decided to purchase some additional services (we did some) but she did not push us at all.

Overall the experience with Verity (both by phone and email) was great. 5 stars for her!

The labour was much quicker than expected. The phlebotomist Rakhee arrived on time for collection with the kit (as agreed). She was very professional and respectful of our privacy. 5 stars for her too.

The courier came around 2 hours after I called them and came to the same floor inside the hospital. I did not have to go out to the street or meet them anywhere far. All great with them too.

We are new parents and we were very concerned that the collection would be too much for the day of the birth (taking care of phone calls, phlebotomist, courier, etc.) but everything was really smooth.

The hospital was in central London. Maybe in more remote areas the experience is different, but in our case it was great end-to-end.

I would recommend this company. We are very happy with our choice and we would use their services again.

We chose Cells for life because we thought it's the best service and cost from the market. They were very proactive in communicating all details, available all the time and responding quickly to my emails. I received the stem cell collection pack super quick, I had a follow up call to explain all again after that, and abother one closer to my due date. The collection went smoothly and stress free in a time where both me and my husband were already stressed by our new baby arrival. I am very grateful for that! There's also a payment plan available to make it easier.

Do your research, cells4life are most likely to survive any risks to the industry over smartcells etc. we also found that they weren’t as “pushy” as the other options.

The assistant is very professional and helpful. We can get to her easily even though we contact her early in the morning. She answered all of our queries and assist us to send the package back to the laboratory

We signed up for information, but have since had almost daily calls trying to sell us the package which have fairly obviously increased in frequency as my partner has reached her due date, we have unsubscribed but they still call which I am fairly sure is against the law. This is very much a money making exercise and has nothing to do with providing a benefit to your baby, they are only interested in selling you stuff....
