They refused to give me a full refund.
My name is John Albert McArtor and on Friday, May 15th, 2026, and also on Thursday, May 28th, 2026, I had attended two exam appointments that I had scheduled online.
The exams that I attended on Friday, May 15th, 2026 were "InsDE_Health02 - DE Accident and Health Producer - English (ENU)" which was scheduled for 02:00 PM EDT for 135 minutes, and "InsDE_Life01 - DE Life Producer - English (ENU)" which was scheduled for 5:30 PM EDT for 135 minutes. I took the exams at the Person Professional center located at 1012 COLLEGE ROAD, SUITE 104, MAIN STREET DOVER PROPERTIES, DOVER, DELAWARE 19904, UNITED STATES, and did not pass either exam according to the Online Score Report Information. I was still charged $90.00 on my credit card.
The exams that I attended on Thursday, May 28th, 2026 were the same exams that I attended on Friday, May 15th, 2026. The exams that I attended were "InsDE_Life01 - DE Life Producer - English (ENU)" which was scheduled for 12:15 PM EDT for 60 minutes, and "InsDE_Health02 - DE Accident and Health Producer - English (ENU)" which was scheduled for 01:15 PM EDT for 135 minutes. I took the exams at the Pearson Professional center located at 1012 COLLEGE ROAD, SUITE 104, MAIN STREET DOVER PROPERTIES, DOVER, DELAWARE 19904, UNITED STATES, and passed the exam titled "InsDE_Life01 - DE Life Producer - English (ENU)", but still not pass the exam titled "InsDE_Health02 - DE Accident and Health Producer - English (ENU)" according to the Online Score Report Information. I was still charged $90.00 on my credit card.
Upon completion of my 2nd exam appointment at the Pearson Professional center located at 1012 COLLEGE ROAD, SUITE 104, MAIN STREET DOVER PROPERTIES, DOVER, DELAWARE 19904, UNITED STATES on Thursday, May 28th, 2026 which was "InsDE_Health02 - DE Accident and Health Producer - English (ENU)", I was printed a score report stating the results of my exam appointment which stated that the examination result was a FAIL. I got a pen and asked the test proctor for her full name so I could write it down on the back of the Examination score report, so I could know who she was and verify her identity for trust and validation reasons. She told me that her name was Beth. I then asked for her last name, which is a completely regular question and she looked offended that asked her that. She then said "I don't give that out", and then I said "Why is that? Is it not subject to disclosure?" and she responded "No, my name is just Beth and I am the manager here at this testing center." I did not ask her what her role was at this Pearson Professional center, however, she chose to volunteer that information. She was very rude and I didn't appreciate the lack of transparency regarding why she cannot provide HER last name as a test proctor working at a Pearson Professional Center, but I had to provide my full name, plus show two forms identification with at least one containing a photo of my face, and be scanned extensively before each test and every time I reenter the testing area during a bathroom break. I was very disgruntled about the hypocrisy that she showed and her overall demeanor. I wrote an email on Saturday, May 30th, 2026 requesting a full refund for both exams to Pearson Vue Customer Service and they refused to give me a refund. I then filed a complaint against Pearson Education to the Better Business Bureau on Wednesday June 3rd, 2026 and they still have not responded to my complaint. Based on principle, I should be given a full refund of $180 for both exam appointments that I scheduled and attended in May of 2026, but Pearson is a completely corrupt company, so they will not do the morally right thing and that's why their getting this negative review from me.
