Ceylon and Beyond catered our wedding last weekend. They were a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. Such lovely people, and the food was outstanding. Our guests are still talking about how much they loved the food - especially the cauliflower popcorn! Would definitely recommend.

The Ceylon and Beyond team provided delicious food for our son’s large wedding party and then two days later for a slightly smaller party given for our friends. The food for the two events was truly memorable with delicious tastes and spices and the team looked after us and our guests good humour and efficiency. We can’t recommend them highly enough.

Ceylon & Beyond catered our marquee wedding in September and we couldn't be happier with our choice. The food was absolutely incredible - our guests were raving about it - and the service was impeccable. Maddy and Harsha were very attentive in the months leading up to the wedding, responding to our queries, suggesting menu options, providing detailed allergen advice and sourcing equipment, crockery, glassware etc for us. They worked from a very small catering marquee and yet managed to provide table service to 190 people in a prompt and professional manner. When dinner was over they cleared the tables quickly and with minimal disruption and they removed all dirty crockery, cutlery and glassware from the site - making the clean up the next day much smoother for us. All round they were an excellent choice for a wedding and we couldn't recommend them enough!

Wow. The food is delicious. Maddy and Harsha made the process totally stress free. Made dinner for 17 rowdy hens and made last minute changes due to the weather (as originally planned for outdoors!). Couldn’t speak highly enough of both the planning and organisation prior to the event and the unbelievably great food. We were talking about it for days! Don’t hesitate to book!

My partner and I used Ceylon and Beyond for a wedding meal and we were so happy we did! Our wedding was a month ago and we are still hearing about how delicious the food was! We absolutely love Sri Lankan food and they did not disappoint. On the day everything ran incredibly smoothly and I did not have to think about anything! Maddy and Harsha were very flexible to our needs and also helped us out with linen, delivering it the day before! They are both very hard working and really wanted us to have the best day possible.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Ceylon and Beyond to everybody! A really lovely team who you really feel care about you enjoying your event and made things feel personal. And just writing this review reminds me how amazing the food tasted! I hope to find them soon with their food truck and enjoy once again!

We booked Ceylon and Beyond for a garden party BBQ at our home (June 2023). With a remit to bring Sri Lanka to a sunny Bristol garden for the evening, we were not disappointed. From the Sri Lankan snack canapes to the BBQ Seabass and Spicy BBQ Chicken through to the ultimate treat - Sri Lankan Crab curry - Harsha served up a truly delicous feast that we and our guests absolutely loved. There were also some more traditional BBQ offerings for the less adventurous, which was a nice touch.

It was great to be able to have a full one-stop-shop solution with all cutlery, plates etc. included and taken away at the end with no big clean up needed. In fact the set up and clean up operation happened so smoothly in the background that there was no fuss or interruption to the party at all. The food may grab the headlines but these little things also went a long way to making our event work so well.

If there was one thing I would feedback on that might make this a 4.5* rather than a 5* it would be that I did have to do a bit of chasing to finalise menus and prices in the lead up to the event.... but in fairness that was also due to the flexibility Harsha and Maddy were offering in blending two of their menus together to get the balance just right for us, so I stick to the 5* review with no hesitation.

We had our daughter and now our son in laws wedding on the 28th of May 2023 . Harsha and Maddie welcomed us so warmly from the beginning to the end. They were so helpful and pleasant to work with. Not only did they welcome all our ideas supported us to create the wedding menu, they understood what we were trying to create on the day with two cultures coming together. They personally took care of everything by making sure food was warm, tasty, and freshly cooked and served on time.
They are both hard working and did deliver to the very best. They both went over and beyond for us making sure there was plenty of food for all the guests to enjoy. Maddie also work so tirelessly to make sure that the venue was left so clean and tidy. Overall, we are so very pleased with their service, and the sri lankan food that was cooked by Harsha and the team is one of the best we have had in the UK. The friendly service made a beautiful occasion for us all to enjoy remembering the event for years to come . We highly recommend ceylon and beyond. Great job done very well. We used Ceylon for a surprise 60th party at a rented cottage, Harsha brought the bbq and food which was delicious, all positive feedback from the 50 guests he cooked for.

Ceylon & Beyond catered at my 40th birthday camping celebration, providing short eats and curry bowls for 30+ adults. From the very first phonecall, the team were hugley professional, helpful and accomodating. The process from start to finish was very customer led and easy. On the day, they turned up on time and were ready to set up super quickly.
The food was delicious! The short eats were a perfect starter to the main meal - a choice of coconut dahl and pork & chicken curry. That aubergine pickle was SO good!
All was served in eco friendly trays and everything cleared away speedily.

From.our initial enquiry through to the actual party these guys were so helpful. They catered for 40 people for a 50th Birthday party and.the food was a Asian/ Sri Lankan buffet style menu. They turned up on time to set up which was critical and the food looked great. Every single person at the party said the food was brilliant with 2nd and 3rd helpings being devoured!! They came later in the evening to clear down everything which again was required by the venue which really helped us. Really highly recommend them and their lush food

Timings were fine and the food (bbq) was good and plentiful, much enjoyed by all. (47 people) This would be a 4 or 5 star review but for the preparation and clear up - most of my serving dishes and roasting trays were used, not washed up and I had to wash the kitchen floor half way through the event. One of the reasons for hiring outside caterers is to avoid this! It was a miserable Sunday morning dealing with it all..... I do recommend the company but do discuss detail beforehand!

Ceylon and Beyond were incredible throughout the whole planning for our wedding day and the service on the day. The food is incredible!! So many guests at our wedding were praising the quality and tastiness of the food. Harsha and Maddy were incredibly friendly all the way through. We will be making sure that we get to try their incredible food again!! Thank you both so much :)

We attended a wedding last weekend where Ceylon and Beyond were catering for us. Wow ! what can I say I had not had Sri Lankan food before, the food and flavours were incredible. Clean, efficient service and served by two lovely people all added to the fantastic experience. There was a buzz where everyone was talking about the wonderful food! Thank you so much for the introduction to this cuisine.

What can I say…the food was truly amazing! Such an array of different flavours and dishes, some spicy and some mild, all cooked to perfection. A variety of meat and vegetarian options, something for everyone. Highly recommend Ceylon & Beyond for any occasion!

We were very lucky to attend an event catered for by Ceylon & Beyond, the food was a delight and catered for a myriad of dietary requirements. Every dish met with much discussion with everyone heaping praise on their own personal favourite. I would absolutely recommend Ceylon&Beyond for any special gathering.

Ceylon and Beyond did the catering for the first night of my 40th birthday weekend celebrations. The food was sensational. We were still eating leftovers rolls and croquettes on the Sunday night because it was all so good. Thank you chef for introducing us to Sri Lankan street food.
