Wonderful! I called The Chair Clinic on a Sunday (without realising it was a Sunday), yet still someone answered and was most helpful.
I was tired of scrawling through Amazon to find a solution that I wasn't sure was going to work, and wasn't just a 'cheap fix' that wouldn't really resolve the issue.
My office chair was too low, and the gas cylinder was broken and constantly sinking.
With a new gas cylinder, at a higher height, now I have a working office chair that is perfect for my desk (converted from old IKEA drawers), and I'm able to work comfortably again.

I needed help diagnosing and fixing a problem with an expensive desk chair and the guys at Chair Clinic helped achieve that. New has strut for less than £40 vs a new chair which could been at least 5 time that.

Answered all my questions and offered extra information which made the purchase simple

My home office chair was 3.5 years old - used about 4-8 hours a day. The seat became hard and uncomfortable, the rest of the chair worked perfectly. Since the cost of the new chair was around £150 I decided to replace the seat only but could not get it anywhere. Chair Clinic offered re-upholstery for half price of the new chair. Went with their recommendations and cannot be more happy. Chair feels better than when it was new. The whole process was easy, great communication from the whole team, highly recommended.

Chair Clinic took a slightly complicated repair for a slightly unconventional chair in their stride with a collection/return service.
