My food arrived on the day I specified it was very well packaged, and the curry’s tasted great, this was my 2nd order, and I tried some different ones, all good so far, highly recommend them.

Nice enough but a bit too strong in cardamom for me to really like the flavours. Good size portions. Quick and easy delivery. Lots to like and anyone who really likes cardamom flavours will thoroughly enjoy this food.

How many times do you hear some nonsense about a brand of ready-meals being ‘restaurant quality’ …? (I guess it rather depends on the restaurant!) … HOWEVER…! Chef Akila tops all but the very finest Indian restaurants I’ve visited (Indian is so very different from Bangladeshi or Nepalese) … and certainly beats any takeaway I’ve ever tasted. If you meticulously follow the instructions to microwave from frozen, these dishes come out an absolute treat. I love how the menu is not too large (I am always suspicious of restaurants that claim to serve hundreds of different dishes… they often taste the same!) … Every dish by Chef Akila is distinctive, with a fabulous range of delicately spiced flavours. Top quality meat, locally sourced. I’ve never had slow-cooked lamb as good as this in any curry house. But more than anything else, I believe it is the love that is poured into the food that makes it really special. You cannot put a value on that, and it’s why even the very best supermarkets never come close to real home cooking. I sincerely hope Chef Akila’s curries never hit the shelves at Asda - I’m pretty sure they won’t!

Absolutely delicious curries. Much better than our local restaurant.
Delivery was quick and everything ready to put in the freezer.
The portions are enough for 2 hungry adults.

I loved the packaging. Great delivery. The food tasted clean. I wish it was more authentic Indian flavours. A bit more spicy and also if you could have more North Indian flavoured dishes incorporated in the menu

Excellent! Still got 2 left to try, but very pleased indeed with the 4 I have tried so far. Easy to split into 2 single portions. So pleased to find low carb meals which taste so good.
