SCAM keeps the payment don’t send the goods. Following our payment, which has been proven in various ways, this company has simply KEPT OUR MONEY AND HAS NOT SHIPPED OUR ORDER without providing any valid reason. Even now, we have not received anything, and we believe this company is doing it deliberately.

🚫 Avoid this company at all costs.

✅ If you still decide to work with them, never accept prepayment: insist on payment upon delivery, otherwise you risk being scammed.

💸 We were forced to make a prepayment of more than €1,000 for a standard product from ChemPoint.
⏳ Since June 2025, they have been claiming they never received the payment, even though it was confirmed multiple times by our banking software and by our bank after an advanced investigation.

Consequences:

📉 Production blocked

💰 Huge costs incurred

📞📧 Multiple requests by email and phone asking for either delivery or a refund – with no result

📑 Several proofs of payment provided (from us and from our bank) – all ignored

❓ Is this due to their constant staff turnover?
❓ To an organization almost entirely based on automatic systems?
❓ Or simply a questionable method to increase their margin by denying confirmed payments?

👉 Whatever the reason, we strongly advise against doing business with ChemPoint until such practices are drastically improved.

Wrote an inquiry on the plastic industry lubricants. Didn't got a response. A month passed afterwards, and here comes an email, that they will not be able to aupply. Already got a sample from other company, tested, purchased, procured, and used for a week. I suppose a bit slow with new customers.

Very difficult to get information from ChemPoint about Momentive products.

I would haven given a 5 but having trouble getting Certificates of Analysis on a timely basis.

order was supposed to arrive 4/19/2019 and now it is 4/26/2019 and there is no news of when it may arrives

Maybe because we were a new customer, but there were a lot of delays and problems with the first order.

I would give them 5 stars except they really put pressure on you to buy within a certain amount of time. Something we wouldn't do to our own customers. Our customers take their time as well as run their own clinicals, which is why there is a wait before purchasing materials, why does every vendor understand this but Chempoint? Its gotten a lot better since we have a new account rep. that we have been pleased with so far.

Working with ChemPoint as been great they are quick to respond and deliver!

Requesting samples has been a multi-month fiasco, where it felt like they fought tooth and nail to not provide us what was requested, despite having given them a lot of business in the past. The end result: being charged $500 for a 25lb bag when the requested amount was just 2kgs. Being sent 25lbs was never communicated whatsoever.

Their service is good... as long as you don't need to engage with a real person. I requested a copy of their NACD certificate in OCTOBER 2018 and again on 10 April, 2019... and I'm still waiting for someone (anyone!) to respond.

Working with a distribution email group and not a dedicated CSR can be frustrating at times and does not allow for SRM and the build or improvement of supplier relations. Not super critical, and overall service has been satisfactory.

Chempoint has been a supplier to us of lubricants we use in our wire manufacturing process.
The ordering, shipping and delivery process is painless. I get a good price and excellent service.
