Not great at all
Bought a brand new fresh mo ped 125 from the store within the first hour the fuse went they had to take it back
Weeks down the line the bike started to sound rattly and weird it ended having the springs broke and oil leaking bare in mind I travel 15 mins to work an back an that’s it that’s the only way I really use it and to top it off the fuse went again 2 more times
After all these problems they decided to scrap the bike an pay the the finance off and tried to make me pay for a new bike 270 pound plus the rest over months absolutely terrible service from minute one and to top it all off tried to blame me so poor
This is the first time I’ve ever complained about anything I’ve bought I never write these things just so bad an so poor an rude from these lot

A great place!
Needed many parts and tech advice over an NMax scooter I rebuilt after it was stolen. Ruth in Parts and Jack in the Workshop did a fantastic job, helping me through. I visited and spoke with both of them over necessary parts and Tech advice over the repair, so the date I've put in does not reflect the effort they both went to.
Chorley Yamaha refund issues
Chorley Yamaha, mmmm Cut a long story short I put a deposit down on a New bike £100 which was not not released yet it was due to be released in a month, when it arrived my circumstances changed for for what type of bike I wanted so I decided to pick a another one which I thought would be perfect for me took 8-9 months before that new bike was released, the two salesman men started arguing because I went to Wigan first and then Chorley because it was closer to me... I ended up choosing Wigan Yamaha I put anther £100 deposit total £200 and it is the same company Wigan, Chorley when the bike arrived I loved it but unfortunately my finances didn't go through, Wigan Yamaha give me my hundred pound back and said that the other £100 refund I have to go back to Chorley Yamaha the manager of Chorley Yamaha messed me about never answered the phone it took me nearly two months to get hold of him then he said it has been too long for the refund to be refunded I tried to explain to him what's happened talk to the other cells person he'll explain things to you, he ignored everything I said and put the phone down on me I have bought bike from Chorley before I have never been treated like this before I will not be going back there ever again I urge people please be careful when he put in deposit down because they are not very nice people when they have to return your money it was not my fault when my finances didn't go through because how long it took and my financial situation Changed by the time it was ready to buy a bike
Terrible timescales
Had my sons motorbike 2 months and it’s still not done! he needs it for his job.. was told it will be another 3 weeks… let’s see absolutely avoid taking your bike if you desperately need it..😡

Stay well away from this place, i placed £500 pound deposit on a Yamaha r7 two years ago, i was aloud to do this without having the correct license to ride the bike, i stated that id be doing my test very soon, unfortunately from then till now iv attempted my test 3 time and failed. After failing the first time i contacted Yamaha and explained this they sed that they would hold it till i do no rush. After failing another two time i decided to give up.
I contacted Yamaha asking for my money back, they then sed they had already sent it a year ago. I have the bank records to show this did not happen, when i then questioned this they then told me they would not give me back the money.
I was not given any agreement, nor did i sign anything. The bike i paid the deposit on is no longer there they have clearly sold it. So i don’t get y they want to hold onto my money.

I BOUGHT A 2022 BIKE FROM CHORLEY…
I BOUGHT A 2022 BIKE FROM CHORLEY YAMAHA MOTOR BIKE 131 EAVES LANE CHORLEY PR6 0TB. WITH 600 MILES ON THE CLOCK. FROM THE TIME I RECEIVED THE BIKE FROM THEM NOTHING BUT TROUBLE. IT ARRIEVED WITH A FLAT BATTERY SO I HAD TO GET A NEW BATTERY AND GET IT FITTED BY A LOCAL GARAGE. WITHIN 2 WEEKS IT BROKE DOWN AGAIN WITH ALTERNATOR TROUBLE. ONCE AGAIN HAD TO SEND IT TO A DEALER FOR REPAIRS.THEY SAID SOME WIRING WAS NOT CORRECTLY FITTED. SO NO WARRANTY AND I HAD TO PAY FOR THE WORK. I CONTACTED THE DEALER THAT I BOUGHT BIKE FROM AND THEY SAID NOTHING TO DO WITH THEM BASICALLY SAYING GET LOST. THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO CHECK EVERYTHING WORKS AND NO ISSUES WITH THE BIKE AS PER LAW BEFORE DELIVERY. OBVIOUSLY DID NOT DO THERE JOB. THEY REFUSED TO PAY FOR PROFESSIONAL WORK CARRIED OUT OR ANY COMPESATION FOR THE INCONVENIENCES CAUSED BY THERE TOTALLY FAULTY BIKE. COST TO ME IN TOTAL £200 ON TOP OF WHAT I PAID TO CHORLEY YAMAHA BIKES. PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN DEALING WITH THIS COMPANY. I SENT THEM THE £40 BILL FOR THE REPAIR TO THE WIRING THEY SAID NOT THERE PROBLEM.
THERE REPLY IS TOTAL FICTION TRYING TO DEFLECT FROM THERE OWN INCOMPETENCE AND BLAMING THE PREVIOUS OWNER AND THE BUYER. THE OTHER SYM DEALER WHO FIXED THE BIKE SAID THE WIRING WAS INCORRECT AND I HAVE A REPORT AND RECEIPT TO PROVE IT. THE FANTASTIC LONDON DEALER ONLY CHARGED £40 TO REWIRE THE BIKE, WHICH CHORLEY YAHAMA REFUSED TO PAY. SHAME ON THEM. HOPE THIS HELPS WITH ANYBODY THINKING OF DEALING WITH THESE HIGHLY UNPLEASANT PEOPLE.

MickO in the sales department made my purchase of a new (to me) bike and trade in of my previous bike very easy.
Everybody I spoke to and dealt with was polite and friendly.
Delighted with the new bike and the service from all at Chorley Yamaha.
Awful staff and unfair practices
I booked a Yamaha R125 from Chorley Yamaha in May 22 for a fully refundable deposit. I finally found the bike elsewhere and asked for my deposit back in June to which Chorley Yamaha asked for my card details along with CVV number, my name address phone number etc and other confidential details. I was a bit hesitant to provide all this information in written, but Chorley Yamaha was adamant that they won't return my money back with out my full card details.I felt a bit odd and hence I looked up and noticed they do not have a privacy policy in place!!!
When I asked them about it the said they "don't need one" despite collecting several hundred of customers financial details on a regular basis and were extremely rude. I have now been chasing them for 7 months for my deposit but they still haven't refunded it to me. I even approached Yamaha Motors UK but they were equally useless.
I am very very upset with the way Chorly Yamaha has behaved and would advise customers to be careful.

Positive experience
Purchased a used Triumph 765 from Chorley Yamaha in December '21 and couldn't be more pleased in how the transaction was handled. The salesman Greg was attentive and effective. A satisfactory p/x deal was agreed and the bike was made available for collection the following day. On arrival I was offered a beverage and made to feel most welcome. The bike was waiting outside ready to load on to my trailer and was washed, valeted and looked like new. Highly recommend this dealer and hope to use them again.
Yamaha Warranty
In March of this year I purchased a Yamaha Tenere for my 60th birthday, the bike was a year old with two years manufactures warranty. I have noticed that the spokes on the wheels were corroding. I took it to my local dealer, there first reply was have you contacted Yamaha uk, I replied no, he took pictures and sent them off to Yamaha never had no response so I contacted Yamaha uk, which was in June.
There reply was have I been to my local dealer, I have contacted Yamaha uk twice now and have had no response.
At the time the bike only had 1100 miles on the clock.
