I bought a beautiful tree from them Dec 2025 I replanted in garden as instructions said, sadly it started to die immediately. I have emailed them TWICE but they have NEVER replied.
I see they have started sending emails encouraging me to order again this year - NO WAY ONCE BITTEN NEVER AGAIN.
Be very aware is all I can say , they don’t even deserve 1 star

Last tree I got from this lot started dropping leaves straight away.

I bought a tree for the purpose of having it for many years. I looked after it properly but after a few months it died. Whilst I appreciate this spring and summer were exceptionally hot and many plants struggled to survive, I was however disappointed when removing the tree from its pot, as there was hardly any root structure and it only had a small ball of root (it was in a larger pot). I enquired as to whether it was a pot grown Christmas tree as advertised and was told all their trees are grown in pots in the ground. When I contacted them they couldn't care less. I won't be buying from them again.

Bought a 6 foot rooted fir last November for around £100 for planting out. Tree arrived but root system had been largely hacked off to (presumably) facilitate packing and shipping. Planted it out and spent the next 6 months watching it change colour from forest green to rusty brown. Gave up on it in June, dug it up and consigned it to the compost heap. Still there rotting away and available for inspection - clearly not happy.

We decided to go for a ten foot tree, the most expensive we have ever ordered. It turned out to be the most ugly we have had. The top two feet needed to be removed in order for it to look ok. It was still not straight though. The response to our complaint read “The tree is not bad at all. I suggest cleaning up the leaders a bit and leaving one of them while removing some of the others. Real trees naturally have variations and the structure can sometimes be different from what might be expected.” Not what you expect after spending hundreds of pounds. So be warned, the tree you get might not look remotely like the ones in the pictures and you won’t be compensated.

I bought a Xmas tree with roots on.My tree died after 5 months..it came potted.. watered whilst in our house then repotted in to a very large pot to place outside.. Goggled to see how to look after our tree as wanted this to live for many Christmas's..Emailed to say I wasn't happy and although I had a very nice email back it's basically tuff not their problem.. Regret my £140 purchase

I have waited to see if the tree recovers and starts to thrive but I fear it is dead. Last year we bought a cut tree and cut the branches to use as kindling. 2024's cut branches are greener that the potted tree supplied in December 2025 by Christmas Trees Direct.

We decided quite late about ordering a tree . We were concerned about whether it would arrive in time, but needn't have been - it arrived less than 36 hours later. Plus it was a very good tree - well-shaped and in excellent condition, now growing nicely in the garden.

Ordered a small potted tree (fraser fir 120cm), delivered in time however they send a very wonky, asymmetrical tree. Ow I wasn't expecting the tree on the website photos but ... hard to find a favorable angle in a corner... top was all over the place. Not a cheap service so tried to contact, 2 emails sent 1 week apart. No answer to date. No value for money.
