NOTE: I add this 2 days after first interacting with Christos. My review below has been a ping-pong affair where I have added updates as he has responded over the past 24-or-so hours. My experience with this man was horrendous. He has been harassing me using different phone numbers and apps. Please read Drew's review on TrustPilot about his experience. Please read all the 1-star reviews. Read my review below and read Christos's response and see how it descends into the gutter. You will see this man's character. Some customers are satisfied, but ask yourself whether you want to take the risk of being one of those who are not. Enough said. I draw a line, and my original review begins after with the words "I would give 0 stars", even though really, I'd give -100 stars. Look after yourselves.

I would give 0 stars if I could. I have never dealt with anyone so rude as Christos.

He gave an offer "I am so generous, Will. Huge discount Will".

He said I had to make immediate payment before it was lost. "Someone else is waiting, Will and I only have this one timeslot and will have to give it to her unless you pay today."

When banks said there were too many red flags, he got abusive and insulting. "You need to pay. I don't think you really have the money. You are lying. You are playing games. You are wasting my time."

I cancelled.

He sends me abusive messages on whatsApp, and when i blocked him there, he sends abusive texts.

Avoid this nasty ill-tempered, bullying little man.

Oh, and now he's sending threats that he'll make sure nobody on Rhodes will deal with us. How entirely within character for this unpleasant bad stereotype.

I thank my bank that they told me to read reviews here before committing to pay, and for their warnings.

Update: I have just read the lies Christos has replied with. From first contact with him to my cancellation was about 24 hours...not days. He requested 100%, not 50%, and within 2 hours. I cancelled, not him, while he was busy giving me his personal bank details to pay money to. And then he mentions my pensioner sister, who has severe health problems...and of course, after I cancelled the booking, Christos sent her an abusive message too. Avoid this abusive, bullying, dishonest man.

Ah...and now with your latest update we see the real you. Christos, you know as well as I why the payment couldn't be made...because the fraud team at both my own and my sister's banks wouldn't allow it until they investigated.

It's not me who brought my sister into this. You did. A pensioner who has had cancer and who wants to go back to the UK...and you send her abusive messages. THAT is the type of small...so VERY small...and cowardly man you are.

You go and have the last word, coward. You disgust me.

Further update: Well...despite my intention to let him have the last word, I will add that on the following day, Christos is now harrassing me on WhatsApp and even calling me and texting me using a different phone number. I refused the call, and he then texted that I was a "piece of sh*t".

You have been warned, Christos, that I consider this harrassment. Under UK law, if you continue, I will ask police to prosecute you. Leave me and my sister alone.

...and now from Christos we get "Last update: Stop lying and threatening me and keep your money to fix your brain,you need it more. I don't want your job".

Christos, I think people can easily tell who is lying here. Surely if what I've said here is lies, and you do, as you claim, have full transcripts of our conversation then feel free to pursue me in the courts for defamation or damaging your business. You are a horrible little man who bullies sick pensioners. I fired you after reading Drew's review here and also because my bank said there were more red flags raised about the way you conducted business with me than would be seen raised in the USSR during a MayDay Parade. LEAVE ME ALONE you disastrous little man.

Christos arranged for the removal of furniture from my house in the north of England to Mani in southern Greece. The office team were amazing and in view of all the problems associated with Brexit, they sorted out the paperwork for me together with Greek Customs. It all went incredibly smoothly. The chaps who collected and loaded at the UK end were charming and very helpful - they fitted everything in without any problem at all. No moaning or whinging like other transport companies I have used! Once I was in Greece and the furniture was arrived, it was the same there. Very, very happy and would use again - without fail. Thank you guys!

There is simply not enough space here to recount such a dreadful experience in full so I’ll give you the lowlights.
Relocating from Rhodes to UK, we regretfully contacted Christos V through his sham website to assist. We were assured that our belongings would be palleted and wrapped on collection and expertly handled by “my crew” door to door within 7-10 days. It turns out that there is no such crew or any expertise, nor the proffered secure vehicles and storage.
From the moment the fee was paid in full & up front, the drive to build the cost started. Firstly through references to vague extra customs charges even though we already had full TOR inventory and clearance from HMRC. After pointing this out to Christos V, this first attempt at extortion was promptly replaced by a remarkable, & imaginary increase in the volume of my belongings and therefore costs. Having painstakingly organised it all by weight, type & fragility it was boxed, wrapped, labelled and numbered, ready & waiting to be palleted and shrink wrapped upon collection as agreed. Imagine then, the frustration as a couple of amateurs driving a beaten up truck literally threw my carefully stacked belongings into the back of their ‘vehicle’ without any care or attention to handling. They carried no equipment, tape, wrap or even rope with which to secure my goods and the token pallets that they arrived with were thrown empty and unused onto the pile. I eventually got hold of Christos V by phone, furious at the mishandling and indifference of his “crew” The excuses flowed freely - “it was late”, “it was raining”, “difficult access”. In fact it was none of those things, it was mid afternoon, the weather warm, fine and bone dry and the old truck was able to reverse up a flat gravel driveway right up to the entrance door without so much as a single step to navigate. They simply could not be bothered, were not skilled and never carried the equipment required to securely load my belongings as agreed on the contract.
By now I was very anxious but was assured by CV that my goods would be properly packed at the warehouse prior to onward travel. This never happened either and they continued their journey to Athens loosely stacked and poorly loaded, where they would stay for almost seven weeks in the same sorry state. Excuses again flowed freely, everything from strikes, weights, vehicle type, driver availability, weather. And still I patiently waited for my air tags to tell me that my goods were on the way.
Eventually and after exhaustive prompting, and many rude, abusive and threatening calls/messages from Christos V (all of which I have on record) my belongings were on their way home after almost 2 months.
Still keen to extort further payment I was then told that my goods would not be unloaded unless I immediately gave the bemused driver (yet another sub contractor) over 800 pounds in cash.
However, as neither myself nor any of Christos Metafores Ltd staff were present the goods were ‘released’ to my daughter directly into a secure storage unit to be checked on my arrival 36 hours later.
As soon as I opened the door on arrival I could see that the original “packing and loading” was unchanged and as poor as my photographic records show. Without going into fine detail, the part of my load marked ‘fragile’ and ‘this way up’ was laid flat across the top of an unevenly and poorly loaded, broken pallet. And so it continued as I extracted my belongings piece by piece to check against the inventory list.
Now, I can accept that accidents can happen but the amount of damage caused by basic neglect and unprofessional contract staff is unacceptable. So too are items that were loaded and signed for but were never delivered - lost? stolen? or just discarded, I'll probably never know and Christos Metafores Ltd have no interest in finding out.
Disgusted with the outcome of this so called professional service I have asked politely, many times for their insurers details and to this day have yet to receive them or a satisfactory response.
Dishonest, rude and aggressive with a very dubious staff and transport chain. Talks big but only mobile phone contacts and no receipts.
In my opinion you would do best to avoid employing this cowboy trader to move anything at all.
To clarify, I have full documentation, photographic and audio evidence to back up this distressing and ultimately very expensive experience.

Great communication, items arrived without issues.

The task was to move 7 boxes and one medium height bookshelf from London to Athens. The service was excellent from the collection of the items (the people that came to collect were very polite, helpful and accommodating) to the delivery at the destination. After they collected the items they stacked and secured them on a pallet and sent us a photograph which was reassuring because we knew that our items would travel in one bundle and would not be thrown around. Communication was very good, friendly and polite and it was very easy to contact them on the phone. They kept us informed and updated throughout the process and there was not one moment that we felt any thing could go wrong. They took care of all the procedures with customs etc and the price they quoted us was all inclusive. The items arrived in excellent shape with no damages nor any signs of mistreatment on the boxes. They were accurate with their timings and overall we are left with a feeling of total satisfaction. They were not the cheapest service from the several we contacted (but they were the only ones that were willing to transport the bookshelf) and definitely were the most professional and reliable. In the end they proved to be the best value for money. We highly recommend this service without any reservation.

The company is super professional and on point. They worked around changing moving dates with me due to unforeseen circumstances, and kept me updated throughout transport. I would recommend them 100%!

Everything was dealt with professionalism. The admin was very easily contactable and provided several updates following request. We were updated on the exact day of delivery. The only point to potentially improve with the local delivery service is to provide a 24 h notice of the time frame of delivery as we were only notified about the time frame on the same morning and after some phone calls. Thank you.

I will say what happened and let the reader decide. I needed to move things from Switzerland and France to Portugal. When I called the original price seemed ok. But then there were little extras for this and that. I ended up paying over 12K Pounds for in total 18m3. It went from decent price to not so.

When the movers arrived in Switzerland what I realized was that the people were not movers but package movers. One individual was extremely helpful and did a great job. The other not so much. As I saw that I rented the entire two trucks I decided to put a little more cargo into the trucks while keeping under 3,5 T. I rented the trucks, which I explicitly asked if I did, and hence the packages were going to go from point A to B to C with no stops in between.

I gave all the information for the border crossing and that is where things became suspect. For I received a call that I must pay duty. I told them that I don't need to since it was a declared move. It was rejected from the border. I then said, ok I am not far away let me drive to the border and I will talk to the border themselves. The answer was the drivers were already through and paid ahead of time. Right there red flags were going off in my brain. My wife asked should we pay this since it is suspect and they wanted an instant transfer right away, which was impossible since the time of transfer was Friday afternoon. I said pay it. I asked for a receipt so that I can go to the border and get my money back. I was told my price was special and half price of the real duty. Another red flag.

We received our goods and I have to say the drivers were good and would not hesitate to use the drivers. They were independent contractors.

But I decided to do some digging, one of the intermediaries during the hectic calls for the duty told me which border they crossed. It was the German border, and the papers of move were for Germany. I know that border personally because I have dealt with that border on multiple occasions for other things. I called the German border authorities and asked about the move. They knew nothing. What made them quite curious is that because my moving trajectory was odd it was easy to find any declaration of goods. It was also indicated to me all declarations have signed papers, its the law. He said there were no declarations in either the German or French databases for those trajectories. I will not comment further and leave what happened to the reader. Maybe the mover used different trajectories, or addresses. I don't know, but for the information given there was nothing.

I will not question whether this was legal or illegal. I am only writing what happened from my perspective. But I will never use this company again.

Incosistent communication of terms and rates, within 2 hours the freight went up from 2800 to 5100 GBP without change of terms from my side, just because he said i was taking time to make the transfer and the offer expired. Ridiculous behavior not answering phone calls and only sending sms, arrogant in words and overall a casino behavior, good luck to anyone trusitng this guy

We had a huge house move from Switzerland to London. Christos has been informing us about all procedures and administration we needed to do in order to receive all our furniture & appliances intact without any hidden custom costs. I am proud to say that there hasn't been a single glass or plate that was broken. The movers were extremely kind and helpful and definitely even if there was a very small delay in receiving our stuff, Christos and Alex made sure to keep us informed with thorough updates. I will definitely use Christos again if we move again and will definitely recommend them to our friends!

I was in a very difficult position. I had already booked another moving company that left me hanging last minute, 4 days before I move out of the UK. Very deflated I started looking into moving companies around 11 o clock at night. I found Christos (as he had good rating on trust pilot) and send him a message with little to no hope. In 10 minutes he responded. Send me details on how the process is and asked what is the load. He and his team guided me every step of the way and was always available on the phone whenever I called for any specification. We arranged to get my stuff after 2 days from the initial communication. The people that came in were impeccable. Amazing communication, very polite and very careful with our stuff. We had quite a lot of frigile stuff and we needed two trucks. From the moment they took our stuff till the moment they arrived (in a good condition) in Greece we were in constant communication, never once they missed any of my calls and for the paper work the paper work they were guiding me all the way. 5 stars as they are absolute professionals and also very polite people. I would trust them with any move
