Total and utter scam!
This company advertises as a high end boutique in Kildare supposedly closing soon after 20 years in business and have all of their products for sale as cheap as 80% off its original price.
All the items posted online looked very expensive and of high quality, backed up by descriptions as seen. I wanted to treat myself for my birthday on a few pieces of "expensive items" that I couldn't normally buy and afford, only they were 70% to 80% off.
I bought and spent 286 euros for 4 items that I would have paid over 1000 euros, original price on Feb. 11 2025. when it didn't arrived in 4 or 5 days, I became suspicious as it should not take long for a delivery from Kildare to Wicklow, right?
I emailed the company, and was told that it'll take at least 3 to 4 weeks and I was sent a tracking number...from Chinese courier! I attempted to cancel the shipment and demanded for a refund but the products were already in transit.
The first item came on the 25th, and I was mortified by the packaging, it's supposed to be and expensive coat, but it's not even in a box! I opened the cheap plastic parcel with a sender"s addressed from China. The remaining items arrived one by one for the next 3 days.
The coat was advertised as made of cotton and polyester, looked and described as elegant soft material- I received a cheap rug! The boots and 2 bags described as of premium leather came as a plastic synthetic material!
Thankfully I paid through PayPal and they have a buyer protection. I opened a dispute againts the seller (Inxane e-commere) on PayPal Resolution Center, there was a lot of back and forth emails with the proof of the Company website being fraudulent and photos of their advertised products versus the items I received. I was asked to return the items I purchased to an address in the Netherlands (which I thought was strange?), spent 23 euros in An Post for the cost of return with tracking.
The whole ordeal with this dispute took almost 7 weeks. Today, I received an email from PayPal that the dispute ruled in my favor and that I am getting a refund!!!
Please know your consumer's rights and most importantly do some research before buying into anything on-line. When it's too good to be true, usually it is unbelievably untrue!
