If I could give 0 stars I would. I worked here for a short period as an sdr. They tell us to manage our book of business and then fail to give us the tools to do so. 0 training recieved that was relevant to both internal and client processes.. just kind of “here do it.” Try to make suggestions to improve theor workflows so Sdrs can actually be successful but just fell on deaf ears. Shareholders are 25ish and have no idea what theyre doing. Data was a joke and almost never met a clients ICP. The negative reviews are legit! Dont waste your mental space or your money here. Discriminatory practices between employees. Let one employee off for a month and paid bereavement who wasnt successful and turn around and fire a successful sdr bc his child was in the hospital!!! All the while theyre trying to figure out why the whole team werent setting appointments as they should… Unable to when they dont give access to a crm and data is a joke. Everything is backwards here. They kind of just shrug when you ask to make things better and ignore you when youve been doing this and know how they can be better. Will not promote from within.. would rather hire a CEO at 100k/ year for suggestions then listen to the people doing the work. TOTAL WASTE OF MY TIME
DO NOT waste your money
We had a very disappointing experience with this CIENCE. Over the course of our 6-month contract, we encountered several major issues that made the engagement unproductive and ultimately a waste of time and money.
First, the call center representatives were clearly not well-trained. Their lack of professionalism and understanding of our services reflected poorly on our brand. Additionally, we were shuffled between multiple account managers throughout the campaign, which resulted in inconsistent communication and a lack of clear strategy or accountability.
The CIENCE-GO software provided was far from intuitive and failed to deliver accurate or useful reporting. It was difficult to navigate, and the data we did receive often didn’t match what was actually happening on the ground.
Perhaps most disappointing was the quality of the contact lists. The leads they generated were not well-targeted, and many were completely irrelevant to our industry or services. Despite a significant financial investment, we didn’t receive a single qualified appointment or actionable lead during the entire engagement.
Overall, I would never recommend this company. The lack of results, combined with poor service and unreliable tools, made for a frustrating and costly experience.
Run from CIENCE, do NOT buy into their con; don't listen to their 'we drink our own champagne', it's more like don't drink their kool-aid
I worked there for a short period. First in sales--I couldn't sell a solution that couldn't be delivered on. I saw small business owners invest hard-earned money towards leads that were never delivered. I was moved to an SDR role, had 4 clients, had to make 100 calls each a day--impossible, and this was during COVID. Don't waste your money with these con artists, do not ruin your brand that you've worked so hard to build. They are terrible at learning your offering, use foreign callers, email writers, terrible! You just as well flush your hard earned cash down the toilet.
Will be going out of business
They use to be ok and now they went downhill, probably are going to go out of business, save your money.
Cience Lead Generation Review – Beware of Scam!
I recently engaged Cience Lead Generation, paying $10,000 for 250 qualified leads, expecting a professional service and solid prospects. Unfortunately, what I received was far from that. The leads they presented were completely fabricated—none of the individuals or businesses had requested information about my company. In fact, we obtained sworn affidavits from many of these so-called "leads" affirming they had never heard of us or requested any information.
This is a blatant scam, and we're now in the process of pursuing legal action against Cience to recover our full payment. If you are considering working with them for lead generation, I strongly urge you to reconsider. Their practices are fraudulent, and you risk losing a significant amount of money without getting anything of value in return. We were misled, and now we're facing the consequences of trusting this company. Don’t make the same mistake.
Update; Cience admited to us their leads are bogus.
They asked for another chance and delivered more phony leads. Cience is a scam company and we will be suing for the recovery of our money and damages.
Unprofessional
Any interaction with this company is a joke. I reached out to them because I was looking for a lead generation agency for my b2b offer. They did a poor research and assumed I was looking for b2c leads, so it started with a pointless email exchange and me having to explain what I was looking for over and over again. Then their sales rep didn't show up to the call they scheduled with me. I had to send him a reminder. When he finally showed up he was unprepared and wasn't able to explain what they did as a company. Both people I talked to (over email and zoom) were not from the US and their English was intermediate at best (I would not want my brand to be represented like that). I'm glad I found these reviews before going into a campaign with them
DO NOT USE THIS ORGANIZATION, THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND RUN
Was told today by Vice President Vince Heaton and Rene Colbar that they will not refund my money after 0 results in 6 months for the remaining 6 months because they guarantee nothing. In my 30+ years in business, I have never worked with a more unethical company than this that was unwilling to do the right thing.

Bought from them
Bought from them. Nothing delivered two months later and they not responding to any emails. I suspect it's a scam
Woke management ends up in N*Z1 management (literallym one of their directors identified like that on IM)
What went wrong? they have thomas as owner... I can only think of 3 people worst than him to run a company.
Even if they have infinite money he, Erick, and August would drive this company into oblivion due to his lack of common sense
really wish we had read these reviews…
really wish we had read these reviews before wasting $25K on an entirely useless 3 month trial of Cience.
unless you are selling a simple commodity, don't let their structured process pitch entice you. process is nothing without execution and their execution is entirely lacking. we are a successful platform in EMEA expanding to the US market and the GTM was straight forward execution, or at least should have been. in three months we got only one semi qualified lead.
here are the things to watch out for when making an outsourced SDR services decision
- get to know the outbound calling resource that you are initially assigned. we wasted over a month with an entirely unqualified caller and Cience knew it all along but did nothing unitl we had to insist on a change
- be sure that the list of target prospects being pulled is deep, accurate, and qualified. our initial list from Cience, which was never expanded or replaced after they admitted they were getting zero engagement, was all that they had to offer. this could have been remedied after just one month.
- make sure you are really getting all of the channels committed. it took over a month to get linkedin campaigns going and then we noticed that they were sending out invites with entirely wrong industry references - very embarrassing because this is done in the client's account directly and reflects on the end user. once they were notified of this mistake the stopped linkedin outreach to address it but never actually restarted it through the last month of the account.
- how adaptable is the service - their project leader adn then the replacement caller admitted that a new list with a different ICP needed to be provided, but internally they were not able to make the change or even use some lists that we provided because it had to go through their ossified process - and so no adjustments were made to change a proven-faulty list to a failing campaign!
- how committed to success are they - our campaign team, once they saw that they were not getting calls for our campaign basically did nothing but ran out the clock after the first month with nominal effort through the rest of the term. it appears that they have a lot of other new victim clients to work with and so they don't bother when they have to actually work on improving a campaign.
what a huge waste of money, time and massive disappointment.
They view paid services as a pilot…
They view paid services as a pilot period.
The company over promised and under delivered by far. They rejected several ideas. Kept telling me their metrics were working. After 7 weeks, I had 4 legitimate appointments. I followed up with them for weeks on the performance but they just keep saying their metrics were good. I wasn't paying for an open rate, I was paying for booked appts.
I tried to work with them but then there came a time where there didn't seem to be a light at the end of the tunnel. I tried to discuss an equitable solution of just ending the contract for time worked. They refused.
On our call, they let me know that I would not see real results until month 5 or 6. That is what they said! My response, then why do you have a 3 month contract. You shouldn't even have a 6 month contract with that!
When comparing their work to what we are doing in-house and our results, I was met with then why are you using us. He asked me this 3x. Each time, I said the same thing. We are trying to grow! In my opinion, this was very much a backhanded way of saying he didn't believe our results.
Absolutely without a doubt the worst…
Absolutely without a doubt the worst experience. Last year, we engaged with Cience for outbound lead generation (essentially outsourced SDR.) After a rather extensive amount of legwork on our behalf pre-launch, we experienced nothing but poorly fit leads well outside our described ICPs, emails riddled with spelling mistakes (which they weirdly tried to pass off as a positive), cancelled appointments and, for the icing on the cake, a LinkedIn ban. The team that sells you on the service will have nothing to do with the team that works on your behalf- aside from your PM, the SDRs are based in Eastern Europe and have constant turnover. Also, your PM might leave too- ours sure did, leaving us with a significant gap in communication. Oh, and finally, our call campaign began a couple weeks late because of some kind of internal miscommunication. Still dealing with the fallout. Run away from these guys.
THE MOST UNPROFFESSIONAL SERVICE EVER
We provided Cience with a list of 100 key potential clients to contact and paid 25,000 dollars in advance to call to introduce company and complete a simple survey. It was undoubtedly the biggest commercial mistake I have made. We were promised professional representation but their agent who said he was from my company clearly got no training, we did not get any practice calls as promised and he could not read multiple simple words. He made absolutely no sense on multiple calls and completely damaged our brand. When we aired our concerns with account manager after we listened to multiple calls we were promised a call next day from management but this did not happen for 3 weeks and they completely belittled us our concerns. I requested a call with senior management or founder and I am still awaiting call. THE MOST UNPROFFESSIONAL AND DAMAGING SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECIEVED.
DO NOT TOUCH THIS COMPANY WITH A BARGE…
DO NOT TOUCH THIS COMPANY WITH A BARGE POLE.
This company oversells its services. The salesperson will confidently reassure you with stories of previous supposed successes. But their system is clunky and fixed to their model only. You will pay for a rag-tag team of ‘specialists’ who are all over the place.
In the first 3 months of our programme, five or six of our dedicated team members turned over, one at a time. Handovers were non-existent And not one of them (on their own admission) took time to really understood what we do. One even admitted to me that their prospect list is unchecked.
They’ll blind you with your performance stats to give you false hope. Suddenly your three months are up and then they’ll try to sell you a follow-on programme.
Despite false promises, they secured ONE real meeting for us and one dud one.
LinkedIn is on fire with ex-‘Cientists’ on the JOB hunt now complaining about their ex-employer.
If we had just given the money to a charity, I’d be feeling a lot better right now.
Poor results for a US outbound campaign
We (Euformatics) hired CIENCE to deliver qualified leads in the area of clinical labs and hospitals in the US for a genomic data analysis software. Everything seemed fine in the beginning when ramping up their knowledge about our offering even though the onboarding took longer than we were told during the sales process. Once the actual outreach started we saw very little results, only few meetings over the course of 4 months and costs of more than $20k. It was quite frustrating to listen their explanations every 2 weeks during our calls how we are just where we should be in terms of metrics (open rate of emails, connection rate on calls etc.) even though the actual deliverables (qualified meetings) were not produced. During the sales process their representative talked about getting 10-12 qualified meetings per month. The reality was 0,5 per month. So the gap between promises and reality was just to high.
We decided to take this leap of faith based on some positive reviews I found online but it turned out to be a total waste of money so I figured it would be fair to warn others that there is a very real possibility of failure as well. On a positive note, their people in the project team were nice.
Complete Joke
After numerous delays in project kickoff, a complete lack of communication and ZERO leads delivered, we were left with no choice but to cancel the service within the first 30 days of service. Sad..
Worst vendor ever
Worst vendor ever! They will charge you $18,000 and deliver NEGATIVE value. That’s right, negative. How can it be negative? Because they will ask you to invest about 30 hours of your time in pointless meetings, scenario planning meetings, weekly updates that are basically a regurgitation of numbers. Complete and utter garbage.
Their sales person (initials HS) promised the heavens. Their project manager (initial SG) promised tons of “strategic analysis” — before you sign a contract and send them money they will tell you anything you need to hear. After you send the initial set of funds — complete opposite.
Funny scenario, for our “kickoff” meeting our project manager (SG) came to a zoom meeting with a t-shirt, and not a nice t-shirt, more like the type of t-shirt that is all used up (kinda like a pajama) shirt. His insights were completely useless. In his last email to us he send us a copy-pasted email that assumed they at least schedule a demo for us. I had to correct him that he in fact scheduled ZERO demos.
They claim to email 30-40 people a day and start them on a “magical” battle-tested funnel. But after THREE MONTHS they delivered ZERO demos. It takes me five hours to close a new client, it took them about 100 days and 30 hours of my time to deliver zero demos, not even a client, but a demo. Zero demos… let that sink in for a second.
Someone should make a parody of this company and use it as the perfect playbook to run a scam.
Underperformed
They didn't set as many appointments as promised, their team is mostly off shored. Management and their sales team are in the USA - but the people that did the work were all from the Ukraine.
Not that they didn't try, or that their work wasn't as good as stateside - they really did. They only booked a fraction of the appointments they said they would, and I suspect red flags flew up for prospects when being solicited from outside the USA.
