They lost my payments don’t respond and even lost my personal information. Worst decision I ever made was to invest here I have no idea how they are allowed to operate in a place like Dubai.

I do not recommend this company.

I purchased a property in the Amra project and have been trying to get my refundable deposit back for 16 weeks. They keep telling me that the refund has been approved and forwarded for processing, but I still have not received my money.

Every time I contact them, I get the same response: “it’s being processed” or “you’ll receive it soon.” Unfortunately, nothing changes.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company. If you are considering buying a property in the Amra project, be aware of my experience and be very careful when paying a refundable deposit.

They never respond, have lost payments and the project is a year behind. Never have I had a more unprofessional experience. They even post my personal information and I had to send it again… stay away

I am extremely disappointed with my purchase experience with Citi Developers.

My Sales Purchase Agreement (SPA) stated that my Oqood registration would be issued within 60 days of signing. However the application was not submitted and issued until April 2026—approximately 11 months after I signed my SPA in May 2025.

While Citi Developers attempted to attribute part of the delay to my Emirates ID, this explanation is not credible as my EID remained valid for more than four months after signing, meaning the entire 60-day contractual period elapsed while all documentation was still valid.

Throughout this period, I continued to make all required payments in full despite the property not being formally registered in my name. This left me exposed financially and legally for an extended period, which is completely unacceptable.

What is even more disappointing is the way my complaint has been handled. I raised this issue formally over two months ago. The agent I dealt with apologised and acknowledged that the delay was Citi Developers' fault, yet no meaningful action has been taken since. Despite repeated requests for escalation and multiple assurances that I would receive a response from senior management Syed Ahsan (Head of Sales), my emails have gone unanswered and my concerns have been ignored.

The Happiness Centre has provided inconsistent and inaccurate responses throughout this process and has now stopped responding altogether.

This level of customer service is highly unprofessional and demonstrates a lack of accountability, transparency, and adherence to contractual obligations. I will now be escalating this matter to the Dubai Land Department for further review.

I would strongly advise prospective buyers to carefully consider how post-sale issues and contractual commitments are handled before purchasing from Citi Developers.
