Be aware of "dark patterns" at cancelation!
The platform does its job as a Domain host decent.
The reason for the "Poor" rating is mainly the product cancellation process.
I wrote them an email that I want to cancel, and got an deletion notification back where in the lower third they write:
"Please note that the current Domain will only be deleted afer you have sent the following PDF-document signed to us: (link)"
they provide you with an fax number for that! in 2018?!‽
I didn't get that last year, and because they did not complain about me not paying the bill (since I believed I canceled), I figured that the cancellation was complete.
A Year later they called me and now want me to pay them extra!
This behavior for me looks like a "dark pattern" designed to confuse people into thinking they canceled and getting them to pay extra!
I strongly advice people to stay away from cix.at and get an alternative TLD reseller.
