This was my first experience with Classic Journeys and they exceeded all my expectations! I learned so much on this trip, all while engaging in fun and entertaining activities (snorkeling, hiking, kayaking...). The accommodations (all waterfront hotels!) and food were all top-notch. I particularly enjoyed the off-the-beaten-path locations where we dined. Our guide, Alfredo, was outstanding in his knowledge of all things Galapagos - as were the local guides who joined us on each of the islands. I snorkeled with sea turtles, sea lions, and sharks; hiked a volcanic rim; and learned so much about how my every action impacts our natural world. I left with some great memories of a really fun time in the most beautiful place I've ever visited, but I also returned with a new sense of connection to nature and a renewed determination to serve as a good steward of our natural world.

Our trip to Cuba was amazing! The trip was very well organized, the accommodations, food and transportation (eight different modes including the classic cars) were all top notch. But best of all were the amazing Cuban people we met! Our local guides were fantastic. We met many people that were leading the development of the private sector; car restoration, hospitality, manufacturing, artists, etc... We experienced wonderful musical performances for our small group! Audrey, our tour guide, was amazing before, during and after our trip! We're so glad we went both for the experience but also that we could support the many entrepreneurs we met. We hope Cuba can overcome the current challenges, especially the energy situation. So glad we took this trip!

The Tuscany and Cinque Terre tour was all that we wanted it to be. We enjoyed seeing so many of Italy's treasures, staying at great hotels, and being helped by a superb guide!

The group leader, Audrey was excellent. The local leaders were also quite good. The home visits of the revolution photographer, coffee plantation, local artists, dinner in Trinidad, etc. made the trip very informative providing a great experience.

Really enjoyed Tuscany but the larger group (17) was disappointing. The hotel in Florence Antica Torre, was not staffed for us, no baggage help and with an elevator not working it was difficult. The restaurants for group dinners in Florence the last night and the first at Villa LaBarone were disappointing. Santa Margarita hotel dinner was very good. The last full day in Cinque Terre was very long and then spoiled by the disappointing late dinner with not good food that ended at midnight. Not a great finish to the trip. Guides Luciano and Alessandro were good.

Hotel in Florence unable to service a group of 17. Group dinners were not able to service a group of 20. Last day too much for one day. Started at 6:30 breakfast and ended with dinner at midnight.

Our Classic Journeys Tuscany tour was amazing. Our guide, Emmanuele, was excellent. His knowledge of the area (history, culture, plants, animals) was superb and his personable, honest nature allowed us all to connect with him on a deeper level. The hotel accommodations were beautiful and the daily hikes, local guides for tours, and meals were all so enjoyable. I would recommend Classic Journeys to others and look forward to booking another tour in the future.

Everything about the Tuscany journey was incredible. But most important was the incredible human being that our guide Manuela was. I had a connection with him that truly was tremendous. My wife felt the same way. His knowledge of the history, culture, people, art, food, architecture was incredible. A rare human who made the journey come alive for us. Location, guide, hotel, travel sites

Within days of returning from our trip to Morocco, I started to look for the next trip my husband and I were going to take with Classic Journeys. Everything was wonderful. The guides, food, hotels, cultural immersion, cooking lessons etc. Very well balanced trip that provided constant activity but nothing felt rushed. We have traveled extensivly and with several companies and this one is at the top of our list.

Our Guide Alessandro was just a joy to be with. He was very skilled at assessing the needs and interest of our group. He was also incredibly knowledgeable and informative and just really fun to be around. I believe everyone in the group had a wonderful time, and to a great degree, that was due to Alessandro.

Our guides, Diane Clarke and Margaret Pearson, are passionate about the Cotswolds. The ancillary services (Leslie the driver, the docents lined up at sites, hotels, etc) were top notch. Appreciated that the group was intentionally kept small (only 15 of us). And there is nothing like a ramble thru a field of grazing sheep to calm the spirit. The trip to Stonehenge early in the morning before it was open to the general public was, for me, the highlight.

Cuba in 2026. What a trip we had! Now is the time to visit Cuba. It is safe, clean and the Cuban people genuinely love Americans. We were welcomed everywhere we went. Right now, there is a window of time where the streets are largely free of tourists. There were nine of us on our tour and we had the run of the place. The food was outstanding, the music was everywhere, the beaches were pristine and the cultural experience was one of a kind. I have been fortunate to have traveled to +/- 30 countries and the trip to Cuba ranks right near the top. Don't delay. This tranquil period will not last long. And I must say, the most important aspect of the trip that made it truly golden was our tour leaders - Audrey, Jesus and Patricia. Those three are the reason we would stick with Classic Journeys for future adventures. The three of them took a good trip and made it a once in a lifetime experience. We are blessed to have had them!

I had the trip of a lifetime on my Classic Journeys trip to Cuba in December 2025. Our tour guides Audrey and Jesus were amazing. They always went above and beyond and made the trip truly memorable. My favorite part of the trip were our daily activities which allowed us to spend time with the Cuban people. I cannot say enough about the kindness and spirit of the Cuban people. Regardless of the political differences between our countries or current events that happened on our trip (Venezuela/Maduro) they were always kind and welcoming. If you have any doubts about traveling to Cuba there is no reason to. I felt safer there than in many other popular vacation destinations.
