Clements agency are certainly unorthodox , I paid them and thought that was money down the drain , but low and behold the council just sent me a new rates bill and the rates are now halved!!!!! Very surprised best wishes to all at the Clements agency.

I was told in a phonecall at the end of June, I would have £16,000 in my bank account by the end of the week! Also in the phonecall I was told no money would be taken until I had my rates monies returned. Both statements turned out to be untrue. If you read the reviews on this site for this Company, I would suggest those with 1 * are the truthful ones.
£5.99 was taken from my bank account with my knowledge,then the terms and conditions were emailed to me, stating they would take £954 from my account within a few days. If it had been made clear in the phonecall that I would be expected to pay nearly a thousand pounds before I received a penny in refunds, I would not have agreed to use this company. My business, like many others is very very vulnerable at the moment as a result of a downturn in sales due to the pandemic. I cannot afford to pay nearly a thousand pounds. This company's business model is flawed, it tricks people when they are desperate for funds to make their business viable again.
I understand from the Council that I will be receiving some funds, but by the time Clements Agency have their money including the one off payment and commision,they will take a third, again something not mentioned in the phonecall.
I too, have been served with a County Court Summons. I have paid the money (by borrowing) rather than go to Court under doctor's orders as I am suffering from depression as a result of my dealings with these people. I am however, going to take the matter further and have contacted the media. These people should not be in business.

I have been a client of The Clements agency since 2015. They have managed to get a reduction on my business rates on two occasions. They have always been upfront with the costs involved and how they work which is all you can ask for.

I'm very happy with their service. They saved me £12,000 and the result was achieved surprisingly quickly. I would recommend this company.

The process took a long time (2 years) and initially seemed very ineffective, sometimes I felt totally fobbed off but after much chasing and finally the introduction to James Berlin who took on our case and subsequently did a great job. A long process, largely down to council back log but ultimately a significant saving which was backdated 3 years.

great result achieved and saved me £11,000pa on my rates - wasn't sure at first but worth the process. very happy.

I occupy an office in north London and have tried before without luck. The Clements group were very helpful and couldn't be happier with the outcome

Bogas and biggest FRAUD and CON People/Company.

May God destroy this company and every one involved in this.

I am receiving calls for the survoyer appoint after months i have received CCJ from this fraud company.

As i realized that they are fraud people and uncapable of doing anything but to pressurize to pay them for nothing. I told them to leave it as they cannot do.

I am receiving letters from the council as they were and are not capable.

I would say to avoid them and stay away from them.

I will be filling fraud case against them and reportin to FCA.

Clements Agency assisted with my dads property. When they first called him I was a little unsure, however after I spoke to them and they assured me they had a case I went with them. I must say it took awhile but they did keep me updated throughout the case. Someone came down to measure and within a few months my dad received a reduction in his business rates!

Scammers, tell you one thing to believe them and then do another. very intimidating men make you feel pressured and uncomfortable. Something needs doing about these con men stealing small businesses money.

I got it all wrong. The company got me a reduction. Sometimes these things take time and I was a bit impatient.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! ...We had many people phoning about our rates but these guys came recommended to us by one of our customers.
They put us straight away on the right procedures to get things moving quickly and we have had our money back before hearing back from the other companies who are still looking into it!

I cannot thank the team at Clements Agency enough. After being let down by a rogue rates company previous, i was very wary about using another company. However they have proved there worth and have secured at large deduction in a very short space of time.

Clements had previously achieved a rate reduction where others had given up. They approached me again about retail relief on a property which they believed we should get. After a few weeks of negotiation they achieved a substantial saving for us.

First used Clements Agency last year, when they fought our corner and got us 100% rates relief for my High Street Bakery. Just one phone call to give a few details, then a few clicks on my Government Gateway account, then forget about it, until the letter arrived from the local authority with the good news!
This year, I received the demand for the business rates, so immediately called Clements, and they happily jumped to it again. Four weeks past, and I received a letter of confirmation that the business rates had again been waived, with the addition of £1400 rebate from over the past 4 years.
I can't recommend these guys enough, fast friendly efficient service, and they have already informed me that they are monitoring next years situation too.

I am a very small business but as a office I got no help at all from the government. The only help I’ve managed to get is by Clements reducing the rv. When they called me I was abit put off by some reviews but with no other help from anywhere i took a chance and I’m very pleased I did.

They contacted me and went into detail about my rates and what I was paying for, which didn’t add up as I was paying for more then I use or have. After a few months they got back in contact with me to tell me that I had a reduction and I would get around £5,000 in backdated money.
Pretty good for a 10 minute phone call introducing themselves.

I Have had a very good experience with Clements, they have helped me so much regarding my rates on my shop. Service was top class and very efficient. Staff always helpful and someone I can always talk to when I needed to. I would always recommend Clements and am actually about to recommend to a friend near by. Excellent service and will use again.
