Scam scam scam took over a£1000 off me when I was at home a year ago with covid said only taking £5.99 the bank won’t help you as you’ve authorised them then they take more and more then ignore every call for a year then today they rung up cold calling me all over again forgetting they had already scammed me it’s a joke no protection from bank if they call you block there number and hang up don’t know how they sleep absolute thieves

Been with them for 6months got a great reduction.
I don’t have time or the resources for this so got these guys to do it for me.

Sorted my rates and gave me a rent review with a great outcome.
Paid £900 for the service they just got on with it and I got a congratulations email and when I checked it has all been sorted even got a massive relief they they said I wasnt eligible for which really helped.
I would recommend them as they were a lot cheaper then the company I used before, don’t wanna name any names and they got a much better result

Got reductions on 2 of my 5 shop.
They helped with every aspect of this including the signing up on the gov website.
They told me that I will get another reduction soon and the other 2 are a bit complicated. I don’t really care as the reduction they have got me has covered the fee and more so happy customer.

Really happy with everything this company has helped me with.
Had problems with rent aswell as business rates and they sorted both problems first stopped my landlord from uping my rent then getting my rates down so I don’t hsve to pay at all.
The landlord had a problem with that for some reason too.
I highly recommend this company and can’t thank them enough. Really happy they called me.

I have 4 shops and have lower rates on 2 and they work on the other 2 as well.
I am very happy with savings so far and they are sorting a new place I am trying to buy. They are looking everything for me.

You may or may not eventually get a reduction in your rates.
We were lured into an agreement in an extremely unethical way. An upfront payment of £5.99 sounds like a no-brainer. The person on the phone luring you into this deal paints a very different picture to the written agreement that they send.

They didn't tell us about the written agreement tucked away in very small print at the end of an email. It was emailed to us whilst on the phone discussing the £5.99.

If you give your card details for payment, they might take, without asking, a lot more money a few weeks later. If you didn't give your card details, then they will send you an unexpected invoice and shortly after, County Court paperwork for not paying it.

Various correspondence comes from different people, some don't have "clements" in the email address. It's very hard to keep a thread going and a handle on the course of events that leads to County Court involvement that arrives by post.

Next, a man started calling. He has the gift of the gab with the apparent sole aim of intimidating you into a corner until you are scared not to pay them the large fee that they never told you about on the phone.

During such a call just now, I asked to speak to the person who initially phoned me about a rate reduction and to whom I said I would pay £5.99.The man said about his colleague that there was no point in me talking to him as the agent who signed me up is the lowest of the low and I might as well speak to the cleaner.

Clements Agency is a company, in my opinion, that has built it's model on making money via deceit and intimidation. Even though they eventually got us a rates reduction, it left me feeling exploited and exhausted.

Spoke to their representative syreeta McQueen Recovered over £12000 of rates from Chiltern district council great work by the team totally recommend them anyone having issues with business rates bills.
They also reduced the following years payments that I am currently paying .

recently took over my fathers business and clements agency approached me regarding a reduction to my RV and business rates liability.

only had to pay a fixed fee as i was advised that i was not able to claim back further than april this year.

very happy with the service provided as they managed to not only get me a small reduction but was also able to get reliefs applied to my account.

THANK YOU CLEMENTS FOR THE WORK YOU DONE FOR ME IN REDUCING MY BUSINESS RATES. I WAS SCEPTICAL AT FIRST AS THEY ONLY ASKED FOR A SMALL DEPOSIT BUT WITH SUCH A LOW AMOUNT TO PAY I FELT I HAD NOTHING TO LOOSE.

HOWEVER WITHIN A FEW WEEKS THE BALANCE OF THE FEE WAS PROCESSED AND I HAD NOTHING TO SHOW FOR IT. WHEN I SPOKE TO THE MD HE ADVISED THAT I HAD A REDUCTION BUT I HAD TO REGISTER WITH THE GOVERNMENT TO CLAIM MY REDUCTION.

THEY HAD A LOVELY LADY WHO HELPED ME WITH THE REGISTRATION AND KINDLY GOT THE VOA TO SEND ME CONFIRMTION OF THE CASE THEY SUBMITTED. THE VOA ALLOACTED 3 MONTHS BUT CLEMENTS MANAGED TO OBTAIN A REDUCTION WITHING 4 WEEKS.

I AM NOW RATES FREE AND FEEL LIKE THIS IS ONE LESS FINANCIAL BURDEN TO WORRY ABOUT WHEN RUNNING MY BUSINESS ESPECIALLY IN THIS CURRENT COST OF LIVING.

Just moved it 4 months ago they put me my rates went down by 8,000 which is a help with all the stuff I have to do 5 stars really good helpful

same experience as other one star reviews. They charge a small fee to make you committed and then start demanding money for the job that is not done.
The catch is in their initial phone call where they give you lots of promises and claim if there is no reduction in the report you will get a refund. What they don't say who does the report! the report is from themselves and not from the Valuation office agency. within two weeks you will get a court letter after a few harassing emails. We will have to see them in court then!

Got me bsck to small business relief and now the council are off my back asking me to pay when I know I shouldnt pay them
I paid £1,200 which is a bit steep but they did what they said they wood.
They helped me register and they also helped me get extra relief too on my other premises too.

Don't be fooled by the initial £5.99 and not have to pay anymore unless they get you a reduction. They take £948 within a couple of weeks even though they haven't done anything. Please read all the negative reviews
Since writing this review I have been asked for more details by them ‘so they can better understand the experience’, name, phone no etc. they already have these as they have since writing the review contacted me and tried to tell me they have got me a reduction.

I went with Clements a few years back and had a reduction which helped me to keep the business going. This year I was getting reliefs but knew next April I’d have to pay full rates and as it took a while last time asked them to have a look for me. I did this in May and have already had a reduction and though there no refund it will save me money come April when it goes back to full rates. Really good result

Avoid - I wish I could give 0 stars but even 0 would be more than these crooks deserve.

Please don't be stupid like I was. Deceived by their con man tactics. If you are fooled by all the fake positive reviews they buy you'll end up losing £900+ and never hearing from them again.

These company is a fraudulent actor. They lie, tell you the whole thing is "no win no fee" then charge you £990 and disappear with your money. We are taking them to court and are confident we'll get every penny back.

they sorted my rates for my new shop as i hadnt got round to getting my name on those documents. they sorted thwt for me and once that was done got a check done on my rates.
at the same time got me 2 reliefs that i didnt think i could get as i wasnt able to on my last place. got a reduction so now i pay 400 for the year.
i paid £5.99 they sorted out my registration, then once they could help me there fee was £950
this was reasonable as the last company i used got me a small reduction and i ended up paying them future savings of £7,000. basically i didnt save a penny.

really good value for the job and some people in that office are fun to talk to and make it easy to understand.
i can only say my experience with this company it was a good one
