It took some time and battles with valuation rates office but we got a good refund and now no more rates to pay

Very pleased with the outcome.

I had instructed Clements Agency in February this year with the hope they could bring the rates down on my office. The registration process is quite tedious and I needed clements help to complete it but after that everything was fairly simple.

The result came in at the end of April and today I have received my refund from the council. My rateable value went down by about half which is a massive saving to a business that receives no releifs.

Great service and I recommend highly.

My experience with this company has been excellent, throughout the process I was kept up to date by members of staff via email or by phone. They were all friendly and professional. I appreciate the hard work they put in on my behalf and wish to say thanks.

ALL THERE REVIEWS ARE FAKE! Why is it that all the 5 star reviews only have 1 submitted review. SCAM! They tell you to pay a upfront payment of £5.99 and without any warning take £995 if your unable to pay your sent court hearings. Can provide as much evidence as one would require in order to avoid these guys.

I was very uneasy going into reducing my rates because I know people that didn’t find it easy but Clements agency kept me up to date every time I called and after a month they told me that I got a reduction and a couple weeks later got paid out.

They kept me updated with my case and finally got my money back last week.

Clements really helped with a back dated payment and also re valuing my rates giving me a further reduction. Consultants and surveyors were nothing but polite, helpful and caring, I cannot fault the company and will definitely be using them again. Although the process takes a small amount of time it is worth the wait to get the answers you want!

We have just received a great rates reduction which has really helped with our business after Covid-19!

Scammers, they pressured me into signing t&c's I tried to pay the deposit of a few pounds by bacs whihc wouldnt work so I paid with my bank card. One week later they took over £1K from me with out me seeing a penny. Its not illlegal cause I signed the document but it feels very misleading to me. This review must be fake AVOID AVOID

Just had a refund from the council following Clements appeal. It did take a while and two attempts but finally sorted. They helped me register with the voa which was a pain and that also took ages but they were as good as their word and just in time for paying the new bills

I have recently moved into my shop and new nothing about business rates, clements agency sorted everything, did all the paper work and sorted everything.

It's a total scam take they don’t do anything, not so much so that even if your application has been rejected they still take you to court and ask for money and if you refuse to pay you to get CCJ to your name rude staff unethical service don't believe them

Well that was a really pleasant surprise! While when I signed up I understood the terms I then read some reviews and thought should I have done this. Three months later the rates were reduced and just got my refund from the council. I had given the staff some grief during the process as a result but now have to say they did exactly what they said they would do despite my rantings along the way which obviously did not deter them from eventually proving my misgivings wrong. Happy to be wrong

They made me go rates free so I got all my money back and I think that’s it for me and rates

A very pleasant experience! After Covid hit my business really struggled but Clements got in touch and were able to help out, it was a huge relief! Had some back dated money and also a reduction going forward.

Moving out so wanted to see if there was any money in doing this to my rates. Turns out there was 9000 in it so I think it’s worth it.

The got into much with me and explained what would happen if I challenged to rates on my 2 shops. It didn’t take as long as I thought, about 2months and I got a nice bit of backdated money.
Reading the other reviews I would just make sure you know what you are going into first.

Saved me a fortune. I was unsure of the job Clements would do after I signed up as it took a few weeks to send the appeal off and sort out the registration process which left me doubting the whole process. That being said 4 months on they have today agreed a really great result for me. The rates on my property are being cut by half and I am now due a sizeable refund from the council.

I have tried this before a few years ago but wasn’t able to get anyway. I would highly recommended Clements Agency as at the end of the day they achieved what I wanted them to.
