Mediocre at best, and cannot be repaired
I bought the Play G5 Pro watch through a reseller, Komplett.dk. I had been researching similar wathces for some time, and Cmee seemed to be the best option, if I wanted to have some kind of freedom to e.g. select my own service provider. However, upon reception it became immediately clear that the app did not deliver what was promised. It is messy, filled with controls without description or functions, missing a manual, filled with errors, giving me notifications and alerts in Turkish, despite being set to Danish. The watch seemed okay at first. I am not completely convinced it immediately proved the high price tag, but not really knowing the alternatives, we decided to try to live with the app. In use, the GPS proved to be largely irrelevant. Even though we mostly have excellent sigal here, the watch usually reports a precision of a few to several kilometers. That becomes quite tedious when the School safe zone is only a few 100 meters in diameter, and I have had to disable the function. When I track my daughters trip home from school, she usually seems to be running around on the highway 400 meters away in the opposite direction. Then came the fateful day where my daughter accidentally broke the screen. Here, I would like to take the time to specify, that we are talking about a smartwatch designed for children to wear at all times, including during play-time. The reseller, and Cmee's own support system could then tell me that it unfortunately is not possible to repair the screen, and I would have to replace the entire watch, at my own expense. Furthermore, the 1 year guarantee does not cover damage to the screen. I feel thoroughly tricked into buying this mediocre at best piece of technology. In my opinion, it offers nothing to justify its hefty price tag, and had I known that I could not even get the screen fixed, I had NEVER bought the watch. So, please be aware of these terms before buying. You will receive no warning from neither manufacturer nor reseller.
