Ben Goble at CMME was excellent to work with. He provided a good range of options for re-mortgage considerations and was very helpful in navigating me through the process. I would definitely recommend using this company.

AVOID! Very poor service and I regret using them. Slow as snails, unresponsive, waste of my time and money. They have NO interest in clients and put profits first before everything. Shame on you all!

I have used CMME 3 times - mortgage, remortgage and buy-to-let mortgage - and they provided a great service every single time. Highly recommended.

CMME did a fantastic job securing a mortage for my partner and I. Most other brokers weren't able to help since I had very recently transitioned to working as a contractor, but they were able to get us a good deal very quickly. They even helped rush things through before a big interest rate hike came in, and helped work with my partners employer who wasn't able to complete some steps in the mortgage lenders referencing procedure. I have sought assistance from this company three times between 2020 and 2023, under the impression that they specialized in securing advantageous mortgage deals for contractors. Each time, their positivity and assurance led me to believe that they would find a suitable mortgage once they obtained all the necessary details. The procedure required the submission of company accounts, copies of contracts, and bank statements, all of which consistently verified the information I had initially provided.

Regrettably, despite my excellent credit and a substantial deposit, the company persistently failed to secure any deal, despite the 'research' period extending to days or even a week.

This recurring pattern has led to a growing suspicion. Interestingly, when compared with another broker I contacted this week, the difference is striking. Within 20 minutes of a brief conversation, they confirmed my ability to borrow the desired amount, based on my self-assessment figure for April 2023. Importantly, they expressed a desire to verify the necessary proof only once I've found a suitable property to purchase. Strangely enough, this company has over 600 positive reviews on here, making them appear far more trustworthy

We just took out our second mortgage (well, remortgage) with CMME, and I couldn’t thank them enough. We had complexities due to being a former contractor and needing to remortgage to pay off help to buy. Our advisor Polly and case manager Rebecca were so helpful at every point and found us a really great deal despite the volatile market meaning we had to submit our application with genuine urgency. Polly gave us reasoned and experienced advice and we successfully completed the remortgage yesterday, much to our relief. Thank you very much to Polly, Rebecca and CMME for helping us.

At every junction, CMME have provided a professional and comprehensive service and have proved themselves a valued resource for professional contractors such as myself.

I have recently used CMME to help me secure a mortgage (on advice from a friend who highly recommended their service). He was a contractor but I am not, so it is worth mentioning that their services are for anyone. The CMME team are extremely knowledgeable and professional, helpful and kept me informed, calm and reassured throughout the whole process. CMME have successfully secured me the best available rate for my mortgage during these volatile times on the market and saw that my mortgage application was submitted in time to take advantage of the favourable rates available. Stacey has proved to me that a specialist mortgage broker was the right way to go. As a self employed person, had I approached our lender directly, we never would have had access to the deals available to CMME clients. Even then, Stacey ensured we could get our original lending amount when the lender made a mistake in underwriting. I would say CMME are essential for self employed people looking for mortgages. Incredibly disappointed in the service or lack of service we’ve received. After submitting our initial enquiry online we were called the following day (March 21st) and a meeting arranged for the next afternoon. I took time off work and organised childcare for this meeting and not only did Paul not call, we received no communication explaining what had happened. I chased them by phone and directly to Paul’s email (March 24th) to which he advised he’d experienced I.T issues, gave him the benefit of the doubt. He asked for my availability the following week, which I gave him and have heard nothing since (March 25th). CMME came highly recommended but unfortunately we have been less than impressed by them.

If you want to have a service from this company stay away from Ben G. and Ella D. After dealing more than a month and doing what ever they said, they refused me to give mortgage. They never answer the phones and replied mails only with standard messages. Extremely unprofessional, could not understand the case and explained completely wrong, they forced me to change my company shareholder structure and asked for several types of reference letters from my manager. Everytime they asked me to make a change, they responded me that they do not accepted. They kidded us. Ruined my relationship with my managers and partners, vendor and estate agency. It was a very bad experience for me and wasted my time. The only thing I can say is stay away!!!

Rubbish service and completely incompetent - a complete rip off

I would not recommend this provider. Very inefficient communication. No customer service.

We tried them once, but based on their attitude we realised that these people cannot be trust. Hence, we did not proceed.

Recently used CMME to handle our remortgage. Great service and the team are very knowledgeable, helpful and proactive. Even though their part is done, we’ve still had a couple of calls to check on the progress and had lots of useful advice. We would definitely recommend them. Terrible customer service

I have to say that the customer sevice is really awful. We chased them and chased them but nobody got back to us. Never experienced such atrocious customer service. Don't bother with them - go elsewhere.

We are so thankful to Leigh Balfour and Helena Grundy from CMME for their help, patience, speed, professionalism and expertise in dealing with issues! All very much appreciated! This is the third house we are buying via CMME and we have always been successful thanks to them and specifically Leigh (and Helena for the last one). They also have modern systems in place. Leigh will choose the best lender to suit your needs and expectations and she will fight for the best interest rates for you. Helena will advise you on the suitability of your documents and both will support you throughout the whole process.
My partner is a contractor but CMME are experts in dealing with contractors too so this obstacle was turned into a positive.
In other words: highly recommended in every way!
