£36 for 15 minutes! Earlier this year it was £15. Now more than double.

I’m sorry to hear you felt the service was expensive, and I appreciate you taking the time to raise it.
The £15 quick fix rate was originally intended for very brief jobs of up to five minutes. Anything taking longer than that is charged in 15 minute increments, which is why your visit came to £30+VAT.
In practice, our team will often spend a little longer helping customers than they strictly charge for, especially on smaller jobs. It’s possible that on a previous visit you received more time than was billed at the quick-fix rate, which can make a later visit feel like a jump in price. As the old saying goes, no good deed goes unpunished...
Like all small businesses we are under a great deal of pressure so we’ve since moved away from the £15 quick fix altogether to keep things clearer and more consistent for everyone, with a minimum charge of £36 reflecting a quarter hour of support.
I hope that explains things, but if you’d like me to review your visit in more detail, I’m very happy to do so.

Thank you Computer Angels for helping me buy the right new laptop and get set-up. I've had so many little IT issues I hadn't been able to solve, but with some time with Computer Angels, I'm now up and running perfectly and can now focus on my business and not worry about IT.
