I would strongly advise against booking a call or engaging with this company. After being approached on LinkedIn, I scheduled a meeting, only to be left waiting for eight minutes without the representative, showing up.
To make matters worse, I received an email 11 minutes after the scheduled start time claiming he did not want to "take up my time." This communication was entirely unhelpful; had it been sent days prior, it would have been appreciated. Instead, it resulted in wasted time that I had specifically blocked out in my calendar. This level of service is highly unprofessional.

I wanted to take a moment to share some feedback regarding my recent experience with Connectd, in particular regarding their sales process.

From our very first conversation through to completing the sale, the Connectd rep (Louis) was exceptional. As a prospective customer, I asked an unusually high volume of questions and often wanted to understand the platform, service offering, and commercial arrangements in a very detailed and granular way before making a commitment. Throughout the process, Louis consistently demonstrated an impressive depth of knowledge, providing thoughtful, detailed, and specific answers to every question and concern I raised.

What stood out most was not just his expertise, but his professionalism and patience. At no stage did I feel rushed, pressured, or encouraged to make a decision before I was comfortable doing so. Despite the length of the sales journey and the level of scrutiny I applied, Louis remained highly engaged, responsive, and constructive throughout. He always took the time to ensure I fully understood each aspect of the offering and that my concerns were properly addressed.

His flexibility was also outstanding. He was accommodating of diary changes, responsive to last-minute scheduling challenges, and worked hard to shape a package that met my exact requirements rather than simply trying to fit me into a standard proposition. As a senior leader who has been on the receiving end of many sales processes over the years, I can honestly say that creating a buying experience that leaves a customer feeling informed, comfortable, and supported at every stage is far harder than many people realise. Louis achieved exactly that.

Ultimately, my decision to engage with Connectd was made easier because of the confidence, trust, and clarity that Louis created throughout the process. He is an excellent ambassador for the business and I felt it was important that his management team heard this feedback directly from a customer.

For me, there are 2 elements that stand out. The first is around the general set up. The ability to try board advisory work in a low risk environment was very helpful. It has grown my confidence and shown that I can really bring value to start ups even whilst I continue my day job. This has been facilitated by the guaranteed placement.
The second has been the support Connectd have provided throughout the process. As my skill set is a little more niche, Connectd have been very gracious to help ensure my placement got off the ground, and have been flexible with renewals dates etc. due to waiting for budgets to be released.
For anyone joining Connectd, I’d recommend to reach out early to the team and your mentor if you have issues so you can get started as soon as possible.

I have been a Connectd user for some time. The site has been improving a lot lately. Also, getting some good advisory roles.
The mentorship program works very well. I have a great mentor and his feedback and the back and forth have been very productive.
The account managers have also been very accommodating and we can always reach them as needed.

I have really enjoyed the training and level of access to mentors and other industry experts. Looking even more forward to being able to add value during key stages of development for some of the pioneering entrepreneurs I have met. This platform truly can bring together like minds and shorten the learning curve for burgeoning businesses.

Its a shame to say it, but after 2 weeks of reporting a simple issue with a renewal payment that should not have happened, we didn’t receive the renewal reminder email, reported the issue the same day it was discovered and yet the renewal team still does not resolve this for us. I’m trying to avoid taking advice on the matter.

The onboarding and support provided in this program was excellent . The opportunities that have been provided since completing my certification has been impressive as I take time to choose my next advisory role.

I saw their reply to my review. Very similar response to what I've gotten in the last few months without any action.

Really bad experience. Once they get your money, they do nothing. The salesperson was pushy, calling me multiple times per day during the sales process, and promised me things that weren't true.

- He said I would get the placement and that the demand had been checked. Once I signed up, there were very few positions relevant to my experience, and I haven't gotten anything for 4 months.
- If you don't have a placement, the platform isn't that useful, so the whole thing has been useless.
- I've pushed them to get me the placement, but they always say the same thing, saying they are working on it.
- The salesperson agreed that I would be eligible for a refund if I don't get a placement, and now the customer service person is saying I would be eligible for a "partial refund". Why are you changing your words?
- The salesperson also pushed me to sign up by a certain date, since I'm starting with a "cohort" that I could network with. There was no cohort that I started in.

What they promised vs. reality was very different, and I've never come across a professional organization with this much variance.

Working with Connectd has been fantastic for our startup. We've had wonderful experiences from a range of advisors: technical, go-to-market, and relevant industry players. They've clearly been vetted, as everyone is of an exceptionally high standard, and no advisors are pushy with their follow-on work, just giving honest and actionable help.
The Connectd team has also been very proactive in sourcing relevant advisors, going above and beyond to listen to our needs. Highly recommend.

Poor experience, would not reccomend. Basic course which was not bad but nothing you can't learn easily yourself. Very few relevant positions and I'm currently being messed around in my board advisor experience. They don't seem particularly interested once they have your money - unresponsive and slow on communication with not action or resolution.

I actually first came across Connectd before I was ready to make proper use of what they offered.

GOOD KOFFEE had been invited into their London office by Roei and Jim to run a Feel GOOD Energy™ experience with the team. At the time I knew about the advisory side of Connectd, but I don’t think I yet understood what I needed from an advisor.

Coming back about a year later, the business was at a very different point. More opportunities were becoming real at the same time and my challenge as founder was increasingly about prioritisation, allocation and sequence.

The Connectd process helped me get much clearer about the shape of support I needed.

I’ve subsequently developed relationships with Reinier, Stephen and Sam, who collectively bring an exceptional mix of financial, strategic, legal and founder-level thinking around GOOD KOFFEE. Sam was particularly interesting because he wasn’t necessarily the obvious match from the original brief, but Connectd gave us the flexibility to explore that relationship rather than forcing the process into a predetermined box.

We’re still early, so I wouldn’t pretend that an advisor has magically transformed the company overnight. What I can already trace back to the experience is better challenge, greater clarity around my own role, and a much more deliberate approach to the people and expertise I’m building around the business.

And throughout it, Connectd has felt remarkably human for a company operating at increasingly significant scale.

Having worked through a roadmap of change provide by our mentor we are seeing real improvement already - even after a few short weeks. It's like having a c-suite director advising and pulling the mission forward - much more positive and experience and progress made than I could realistically hope for.

It was easy to follow the material and take the follow up quizzes to ensure that you retained the information.

From the get go incredibly supportive and aligned us brilliantly with advisors who have made a real difference to our business, with their knowledge and expertise helping us accelerate conversations with investors and clients

Connectd help bridge an important gap I had as a senior leader. They gave me tools and support to be successful and I even completed a certification which helps me in the long term!

The company is amazing they do WAY more than they say they do!

I've had a wonderful experience with Connectd--both with the team there and all their support and communication, and with my advisors. I've now been working for months with an advisor on DTC/e-comm and he's been so insightful and supportive, not only on the project at hand, but just as a voice and someone to bounce ideas around with. We have been working virtually, but on a recent trip over to London (I'm based in New York) we were able to meet up and work together in person and it was so fun. I also have a more recent financial advisor who also have such an easy rapport with and has proven very supportive. I feel like I've built lasting relationships with the connections made by Connectd, and that comes down to their team really listening and helping make those connections and placements. I look forward to continuing my work with my advisors through Connectd and hope our working relationships last even beyond. I highly recommend Connectd as a service for helping small and building companies grow their support and teams.

The course is well made and provides great content. The Connectd staff are polite and professional. They found me a placement as promised on the course.

I joined Connectd looking for a new way to put my experience to work with founders and growing businesses. After completing the Board Advisory course through Connectd Academy, I was matched with Stefan, founder of Artfol, for a three-month advisory engagement and it turned out to be a great match. We worked together weekly, and I went into the relationship thinking about what my experience could bring to his business. What I hadn’t anticipated was how much I would learn in return. Our initial engagement has now ended, but the relationship hasn’t! We’ve chosen to continue meeting monthly and nurturing what we built. I’ve also really valued the wider Connectd experience, including being matched with Hidai Degani as my mentor. For me, that’s the value of the platform: Connectd makes the introduction and creates the opportunity for genuinely meaningful professional relationships to grow from it.

My experience with Connectd could not have been worse. The terms and conditions were not made clear when I was persuaded to pay for what was presented as an opportunity to access fractional work opportunities through their network.

In reality, the main offering appears to be an online course, similar to content that can be obtained for far less through platforms such as LinkedIn Learning. Even the charge description on my card reflected an online services purchase rather than an employment-related opportunity, additionally they tried to increase the amount charged without any previous notice, then I decided to cancel the services, and they have implemented every maneuver they could to keep pe prisioner of their services, causing me a lot of grief.

What was not adequately explained is that the membership is time-limited and requires ongoing payments to remain on the platform and retain access to potential opportunities. In my experience, the number of relevant fractional roles available was very limited, particularly in my area of expertise (Industrial Engineering)

As an experienced professional, I would strongly advise others to exercise caution before joining. I believe the value provided does not justify the cost, and I do not consider this business model sustainable in the long term, if you work for them my advise is to get another job.
