I went in today to have my car serviced and they wanted me to pay to take one of their cars I’ve never done this in all the years I have bought off them whilst the service was being done absolute joke last week we left them just under 600€ with a van service and we have 2 vans and 2 cars off them so needless to say I will get my car serviced elsewhere they know in ballina they have people because there is no other Volkswagen dealerships well I can bring mine elsewhere and I will!
They are okay to let you take a car when your handing a big lump sum over to them over the past number of years they have got worse their customer service is 0 and the people especially at the service desk are rude and abrupt they don’t deserve peoples money go elsewhere to purchase your car because they are great when buying but when it comes to the rest forget about it.
I asked the guy to set it to longline service and this was a problem too actually seemed everything was a problem so that’s why I left with my car!
He wanted me then to use my insurance which I had already done during the year for them when they were fixing my car which was under warranty and again I shouldn’t of needed to do that so I couldn’t do again or it would be a huge cost on my policy. They should have garage insurance it shouldn’t be up to me to do all that or a courtesy lift which the guy wouldn’t give either.
I won’t be back to purchase or service I’d rather give my money to people who deserve it.
Obviously they aren’t so much that family run business anymore if they were they certainly wouldn’t treat a good customer like that.
They need good staff and with a nice customer service manner not what they have none of them want to do anything for you it’s a shame it’s really gone downhill the last number of years and I’ve stuck with them but not anymore.
I’d rather drive somewhere else and get mine done!
All the reviews here are great when purchasing but it’s when there’s something wrong with the car then thats when Connolly’s will not help of course they are going to be excellent when selling :-)They are priced over the odd for their cars but I always liked to support a local family run business I’m sure their attitude will be “who cares it’s only only one customer with 4 VW”but one day more and more people will go elsewhere and in this current climate people go for best value & customer after service!!
I honestly never had these issues when I was with Audi when Peter was there :-)
They also told me when trading my Audi they couldn’t allow me as much as if I had a VW trade in and sure Audi is worth way more!!

I bought a mercedes from Connollys in Galway,in October 2022, the car was pulling to the left, they brought it back 4 or 5 times, said they changed bushes and links in the front in march and April of 2023, the front of the car was rattling in December of 2023, brought it to my local mechanic and had to replace all links and bushes in the front,the car now drives well. I emailed Daryl webb and general manager Damien Kenny about this issue and got no reply from either. The wire was coming through the front tyres when I checked after I had it for 3 weeks and they put two second hand tyres on the back,I reported this and they gave me a free service and put two cheap Chinese tyres on the back. They also done a cheap job repairing the front drivers seat. It was a terrible experience but alot of lessons learned, will never deal with those guys again. They are not to be trusted.

the most greedy company ever. expect to get rich based on donations. The offer I have received for my car is the most ridiculous ever 10 % of the market value, the scrap yard would offer more.

I got my first EV Volkswagen ID4 I am so delighted with it I highly recommend that you deal with this dealership Connolly of Letterkenny I dealt with Mariam Brown she was delighted to talk to not too much trouble everything she said about the car was true I Definitely will go back to that dealership again thanks Marion Paraic

Just bought an A6 from Connoly Audi ballina and on entering the showroom I was met with a very pleasant welcome from the girl at the front desk and the sales man Dominick was a pleasure to deal with and the transaction was probably the easiest one I have had when buying a car I would highly recommend this garage and will definitely be returning to Connoly Audi ballina when trading my car

Left my Audi in for a recall and basic service at Connolly's Letterkenny at 9am. The Service Manager said it would be ready at 12.30. Called back at 1 and they said it would be another half hour. Went forward and back several more times and I quickly got the impression that they hadn’t got a clue about what was going on. My car wasn’t ready until 3.45pm. No apology or any sort of courtesy given to me by the service staff during my experience. They’re an absolute disgrace to the Audi brand. Could somebody at Connolly’s please take them to the other VW group dealers in Donegal to show them how customer service should be done.

Its not too often you have the pleasure of dealing with someone who so obviusly loves thier job and consistantly makes you feel like their only customer. Zoe has been working tirlessly on my behalf to find me the right car and with a combination of her knowledge and enthusiasm i have no doubt i will be signing on the dotted line soon. If you are currently looking or considering a change of car i would highly recommend that a call to Zoe is the first one you make

Recently bought a car from in Connellys Ballina and was very impressed with the service from Colin and his response to any of my questions was immediately replied.

I bought a 2020 vehicle from these Nov'22 and May'23(six months later) they would not take it back as a trade-in in the same condition as purchased. I tried to contact the sales rep I bought it from, no reply, I tried to contact the sales manager, no reply, I even contacted Audi Ireland who contacted them on my behalf and still no reply.

Messed around after 5 hour round trip to view a 192 Q 5 Audi Quattro that wouldnt start and then being told it was sold when we got there despite texts and a viewing appointmenr

A big thank you to Stacey for the admin and finance behind the scenes, it takes team effort to get things done. My Seat Arona was delivered to Dublin and I am extremely happy. I can highly recommend Connolly Sligo!

Purchased a car in Connolly's VW Sligo, dealt with Kieran. It was a pleasant and great experience. There was great professionalism and the whole process was simple and friendly. I much recommend.

I purchased a used car from Connolly.ie at their Ballina Garage recently and I was very impressed with the way the transaction was handled. They were very professional and at the same time personal. I had a minor problem and I took my car back and it was solved immediately and I was given a new courtesy car to get me home. I found every member of staff very friendly and helpful. The whole experience was a very pleasant one. I would have no problem recommending Connolly to anybody based on my esperience.
